From No More Heroes, we have:

Bad Girl, once she gets the flaming bat; Holly Summers, when she uses that goddamn missile spam thing; Shinobu, if you're using the Tsubaki MK1 or blood berry...and the two secret bosses: one with the Triple-Decker-God-Hand-Flash-Step-Royal-Release-Samba-a-la-Flambe, and the other with the Omnislashing-Juggle-Combo-Teleporting-Ground-Pound-Plus-Dick-Punch-on-the-High-Seas and charge-up instakill.

From Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, we have:
EVERY SINGLE ENEMY IN THE ENTIRE GODDAMN GAME (unless you do the sidequests, in which case you can beat the final boss, his ensemble, and the previous twenty-man-boss-rush in just under four minutes and forty seconds).

And from Devil May Cry, we have:

Dante, the second time you fight him
Dante, the second time you fight him on hard and DMD modes
THE MOTHERFUCKING DICE.

God of War, God Mode, final phase of fight with Ares.

He does this moves that breaks your guard and stuns you, then he throws his shoulder blades (you'd have to see it) out. Thanks to the health ratios from the difficulty, instant death.

Oh, how I hated Ares that night...

In Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
you fight Zack and when when Hades is controlling him, he has an attack that I still can't dodge (I can only keep it from instantly killing me)

dantes inferno´s Lucifer had this cheap ground pound that took a 1/4th of your health with all upgrades, he constantly switched the pattern, and if you got up from a knockdown at the wrong moment, he´d hit you AGAIN. towards the end of phase 1 he does like 10 of them in a row.

during the second phase, he has an unavoidable unblockable move if you hit him with the cross too often, doing massive damage and blinding you.

dont get me started on phase 3.

also, cerberus in titan quest´s fire pillars through the cracks in the floor. THOSE CRACKS FILL OVER 2/3 OF THE GODFORSAKEN SCREEN. ITS SO LAME. ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU BASICALLY HAVE TO RUN THROUGH (and get instakilled since it does 6000 damage a millisecond to even have your toe in the fire) BECAUSE CERBERUS HITS LIKE A T-34 CONTROLLED BY HEAVY.

I don't know if it counts as a "move" per se, but Psycho Mantis (come on, a cheap boss thread going almost 50 posts without him? tsk, tsk) and his goddamn "psychic powers" from Metal Gear Solid.

Yeah, there's an easy way (aka, the only way) to beat him. But unless you cheat you'd never know about it until he killed you a few dozen times.

Also I'd like to toss in the two moves from the damn Dustflier optional boss from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days. His shockwave attack (every time he lands) can only be dodged by hovering (it persists on the ground), and his meteor breath that sends a dozen lethal bullets at you. Everything Dustflier does can inflict ant status on you, including the inability to jump (and therefore dodge anything) and the complete negation of your defenses (making all of his attacks effectively OHKO's if they hit). But by far his worst trick is the camera/location confusion trick. If you're too close to the door you entered from, you leave, he completely respawns and all the time and items you've spent fighting him is wasted. yay.

Demon's Soul's
Third level arch demon.
aka: you know who you are.
Firestorm.
Seriously, is that all you assholes know how to do!?
(there was one case where I fought a guy who corroded all my equipment. It was a nice break from the usual. But it cost me thousands of souls to repair everything...)

As for NPC bosses....
Doesn't really matter what boss it is, the move is always teh same, and always so fucking cheap.
DOOM
especially the FF series.

Hard to avoid area attack!

a digital pizza for the first that knows the game.

From Psychonauts. I love that game. And as the attack itself tells you, it's hard to avoid not impossible. I mostly stuck close in the battle and won through. The Boss that uses the attack is the evil coach at the psychic camp for psychics.
Ding ding ding we have a winier.

Yea that was a major "WTF!?!" moment the first few times he did that to me and killed me right at the beginning (I was playing on critical). All you really gotta do is right at the beginning of the fight, use shot-lock and you're invincible to his attack and you can put a good dent in him.

Now Xahenort in Terras story....FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

Or Vanitas in Aquas story (peter pan level and currently at) is bullshit. Stupid boss and forcing to go grind to even stand a bit of a chance.

Yes, this. Dante was a ***** to beat on DMD. No idea how anyone could do it on Hell and Hell mode.

I had good luck with the dice, most of the time, surprisingly enough.

I'm going to rage if anyone says anything about Seth from Street Fighter 4..
That guy is piss easy.

Anyway, out of the top of my head, my choice would be Radec from Killzone 2. Not only is he a teleporting bastard who loves to stab you when you're running around spraying bullets, but the entire prelude to that fight is a gigantic clusterfuck of a firefight.

There was a common enemy in Wild Arms 2 that I remember loathing, though I haven't played the game in years.

It was basically a common enemy, one that would appear quite frequently in random battles, in one of the last areas of the game. 3 of them would appear at once, and they were almost always faster than my team of characters. They had an attack that, though I don't know the percentage, hit all players and had a set chance of instantly killing any of them. It could get 1, 2, or all 3 of your characters, and 3 of these things got to do it in a row! It was almost guaranteed that 1 or your characters would die, and 2 dying was not all that uncommon either. Then you spend a turn reviving them, or switching them out for non-dead characters, only to have them do it all again and kill you.

Well, it wasn't so much a cheap attack as N64's collision meshes being bigger than the object, but in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I was killed by Bongo-Bongo (the shadow temple boss with the drum). He didn't smack me off the drum, he smacked my foot. Yes, my foot. HE HIT MY FUCKING FOOT AND I DIED!!! I was like 10 at the time and rage-quit by throwing the controller at the wall.

EDIT: Wait, thought of a better one in the same game and Zelda II.

Shadow Link.

Unless you know a trick to kill him (easier in OoT, use hammer or Din's Fire; in Zelda II crouch by a wall and keep attacking), he is freaking impossible, same health as you, and matches every attack and move.

Well, I never thought of using a Shotlock then. That'll be usefull for when you fight him (and Hades at the same time) in the Mirage Arena, that'll be helpful (since there isn't a retry option there).

Did you beat Ventus' story yet?

Yup, and his final battle wasn't too hard except for the very final part of it which at first is a little jarring. If you fuck it up you gotta start the whole abttle again which sucks, but his final battle was WAYYY easier than Terra's. That fucking Jelly fish boss in Ventus story though was a cheap whore always 1 hit KO'ing me. Yea I was playing on Critical difficulty but that's still bullshit.

I just have to finish Aquas story (which i already mention) so I can unlock the final chapter and see the secret vid and all.

I remember from Alpha Protocol that one boss with the duel weilding knives, he was tough to shoot because he had people watching him, so that was a problem, but what was really cheap was that I couldn't sneak kill him like I liked to do, or melee him because he would counter me...then he would chase me around the room like Benny Fucking Hill

Oooo. Ninja Gaiden bosses are a *****, and I'm surprised that wasn't the first thing that I thought of.
I thought of some of the end bosses in Shin Megami Tenshi on the DS. I just beat Beliel and I'm having a horrible time with Jezebel.
