The soldier from tf2, they have the 2nd highest health and can simply spam missiles at corners/the ground while taking nearly no backlash themselves. I put my 6 year old cousin on this class and he got kills -_-"
Thanks, that makes the Galil noob combo look sportsmanlike.HappyPillz said:1)One Man Army-lets you switch to another class withoud dying(Even the same class)Blatherscythe said:Yeah I didn't play MW2 so I don't know what some of these perks are. So please give a bit of information on the perks so anyone who hasen't played and myself can understand your displeasure.
Scavanger- you can pick up ammunition from dead enemies
Danger Close- Increases the lethal range of your explosives by OVER 9000!!percent. Pretty much if the person is withing 30 second walking distance of your grenade, it's a kill.
Danger Close combined with either of the first 2 is really annoying. Normaly you can only have 2 grenades for your noob tube, but with those, you get infinite.
2)Marathon- Allows you to sprint forever.
Lightweight- Increases your movement speed.
Commando- Increases the range of your melee attack to quite literally 20feet.
Include equipment like the tactical knife, which reduces the cooldown of your melee, and you've got people sprinting all around the map, insta-killing anyone who goes anywhere near them. A player doesn't even need to be on their screen, they can still knife if you are behind them, or around corners. Ridiculous.
Please explain how using a single-shot weapon is overpowered compared to using an assault rifle or SMG at close range. The amount of skill it takes to quick scope is FAR higher than that required to spray with an AR or SMG. Please don't spout that "It's a glitch!" non-sense, because anyone who has done it knows there's nothing glitchy about it. You aim, take a shot, and often hit the guy. There's not even any aim assist while scoped in, so you can't use that as an excuse either.dave1004 said:Quick-scoping. I used to be great at it, but I haven't played a FPS in over two years, so I don't really know. But I know it was ridiculously cheap, and wretchedly overpowered.
I agree with you there. I also hate it when people call you a noob/pussy/******/other derogatory term when you "hard scope" which is how a sniper rifle is intended to be used.dave1004 said:Quick-scoping. I've done it by reflex or accident loads of times, without even intending to. Factor that into your "it takes skill"MetallicaRulez0 said:Please explain how using a single-shot weapon is overpowered compared to using an assault rifle or SMG at close range. There's a reason no one uses Snipers in competitive matches: sniping is really really bad, even in MW2 (the best sniping has been in a CoD game by far).
Play more defensively then, armoured hoplites (i think, if not then highest defensive unit for greek cities) in phalanx formation are virtually unstoppable, give them an armour upgrade or two and a cavalry charge into their back will do nothing except kill the cavalry. With best armour and enough experience a direct hit from an onager will be useless, only flaming artillery is any good.demoman_chaos said:Rome: Total War, I HATE people who spam Urban Cohorts and Praetorian Cavalry. Urbans cost about 830, which is quite a bit cheaper than anything that can match them (they can even best Spartans which are in the 1200 range). Praetorian Cav is pretty cheap too and can best the best cavalry in a melee (once I had 4 of them in a straight head-on melee beat 4 of my Cataphracts (who are supposed to be the best cav in teh game and have an armor piercing alternate attack), no outflanking or upgrades or even hill advantages). You usually see 5-6 Urbans and 4-6 Praetorian Cav backed by a few archers and maybe a town watch used as a fodder unit. Even when fully enveloped, they best most anything.
I don't know about that. Sure his missiles do a lot of damage, but he also has to deal with a long reload time. Not to mention he's pretty slow.Wheeleybird said:The soldier from tf2, they have the 2nd highest health and can simply spam missiles at corners/the ground while taking nearly no backlash themselves.
