People are getting obsessed with cheesecake now? God I don't understand kids these days. It's always something with them.

I suppose it is a slight step up from the MLP craze, which was a step up from the metrosexual stage (kind of).

PS: I am aware the OP wasn't originally talking about cheeseckae, but frankly it wouldn't surprise me at all if people were doing that.

Dangit, not another blasted pony thread. Only one thing to do. No need to jump in Daystar, I got this.

I hate to do it, but you forced me too. This thread is now about cheesecake.
Made me think of this:

I love Peter Cullen in all his incarnations. I wonder if he likes cheesecake.

Damn it, I saw the thread title and was expecting it to actually be about cheesecake. First thought was that it'd be a not-entirely-serious thing about cheesecake being soo delicious (which it is, I would easily let cheesecake ruin my life), and then I read a bit of the post and thought it meant, like, cheesecake as in meaning fanservice? (Like, as opposed to beefcake)

Then I read a few posts in and got even more disappointed. It's just another MLP thread.

Wow, that's the best damn way to start a pony thread. My congrats to you!

On the topic, no, cheesecake has not ruined my life, it has actually improved it, as I met a lovely lady who enjoys it too.

>decide to give in to the DIRECT CONTROL meme and talk about cheesecake
>come back the next day
>it's actually about cheesecake now
>I love the Internet

For a second I thought this was a different thread then the one from earlier today. Then I realized OP just changed the name and his post.

It's strange, but I would have figured that most cheesies related conflict would have come about from the lactose intolerant camp. Those bastards are always trying to harsh on a good thing.

In any case I sympathise with your problems. Never can I enjoy even a small slice of plain cheesecake without someone coming up and calling me a a morbidly obese freak. Just because they cannot appreciate a foodstuff I happen to enjoy they feel compelled to ridicule and harass me.

And of course the hardcore cheesies are no better. I've seen them go so far as to throw actual cheesecake (perish the thought!) at people who admit to not liking it. This is why I tend to avoid mentioning my love cheesecake to other people and eat it alone in my room or with like minded friends.

(Wait, this isn't stilll about ponies is it? If so disregard the entire above post.)

Of course it isn't about ponies. Why would it be about ponies?

You know what, I think maybe I'll give my cheesy friends an actual cheesecake when I tell them to stop being such dicks about it. Anyone have an awesome recipe for one?

OT: I don't like cheesecake. I prefer pie.

I don't know about you, but I'll take a Pony Thread over an ME3 thread anyday.
You just gave me a brilliant idea. Let's get all the Retake Mass Effect guys and the Bronies, give them swords and let them fight to death in an arena. Then we make people pay money to watch them battle. The survivors will win the grand prize of a one-way plane ticket to Antarctica.

It's a win-win. We make a huge profit and we don't have to see any more annoying threads on the Escapist.

You people are weird. Talking about ponies (And... Bronies? What?) in a thread that is clearly all about cheesecake and cheesecake-related drama.

STAY ON TOPIC, PEOPLE. Gawd.
