Nah, I've actually found that females in figthing games are always better than males. Or at least I can kick ass more when using them, and I get my ass kicked by them when I don't.

I've also been known to playthough an RPG with a chika. I actually prefer Dragon Age as a female, there's just something about it.

Always play both sexes in RPGs, Don't really care whether the Character i'm playing is male or female

i had a boyfriend once who when i asked him why he only played girl characters answered that fawning over a male character made him feel gay...which boggled my mind. Later i realized it was hilarious since he was asked seriously many times if he was gay and he was so uninterested in sex (like once i caught him watching tv mid coitus) it makes me think that maybe some guys with a homophobic view on male leads maybe have issues themselves.
o_O

As tragic as this is, it's also hilarious.

So some guys feel gay for playing guys, and other guys feel gay for playing girls.
If it's not being embarassed about being a pixel girl, it's being embarassed about being attracted to a pixel guy?
What the ... I don't even ...

They are just characters.

Bayonetta is an exception, though ... "you may have bought my game, but I totally PWN you. Through the fourth wall."

I love video game girls. I think a game with a female lead is exponentially more interesting than a game with a male lead. There is just something so awesome about a girl who can kick ass. That being said, I don't like female mages. They're so cliche and boring to me. A female healer...riveting. Aeris was ok, though. Sorry, now I'm just rambling. Anyway, the point is, I love video game girls. My personal favorites are Cammy, Psylocke, Jill Valentine, Lara Croft, Felicia, Rikku, Princess Ashe, C. Viper, Kitana, and Tali.

Also..does using girls in games, especially fighting games, make you feel less manly/masculine?

You know what I like to see in RPGs? Male clerics. There's something about a man who is kind to everyone that makes me want to...violate him.

But that's just me.
Especially if he's celibate?

No, it doesn't make me feel less masculine to play a girl character, but it aggravates me when I'm playing online and no one uses anyone but the girl characters, who are overpowered or easy to get hit into a corner by. Personally, gender in games isn't an issue to me. I'm just as likely to play a game with a female lead as the exact same game with a male lead. It's just a few more pixels in some places, and a different voice actor. That being said, in games where you choose your gender, I'm still more likely to choose male unless there is a separate storyline for the female character.

I had two (male plus female) pair of Battleguards of Tempus (clerics) in Icewind dale 2

...I wonder now if they got it on.

Clerics of Tempus aren't the kind to everyone type, though ... foreplay probably involves smashing orc skulls.

The only reason I prefer male leads over female is because I project myself onto whatever character I'm playing. If they're female, then it's hard for me to do that, lol. I do occasionally make female characters in games that allow you to pick gender (like Dynasty Warriors) and I have a pool of female characters that I choose from. Now in Street Fighter, I originally chose Ken because he had a green fireball, and because my brother chose Ryu. Now I just like him.

If you have SFIV, whenever my PS3 gets fixed, we can have a match online.

Wait, are you admitting that it's wrong?

I wouldn't draw my line there ... wanting pics is where my line's at.

I don't prefer one gender over the other in games. I don't think a character automatically becomes more interesting because she has breasts.
