gee its the parents fault , they don't give their kids a smack upside the head anymore and giving the kids ritalin is even worse

my thought on this and hyper active attention disorder bullshit is " there is no better fix then a kick in the ass to keep kids under control "

Apparently the 13yr old was the victim of bullying and thus warranted stabbing the 12yr old boy. Now I was severely bullied through primary school and never felt any sudden or thought out urges to murder someone.
You don't remember? Your mind must have blocked that part of your memory off. You know the emperor from Star Wars? That was you. Star Wars is based off of your true story.
Sorry but I don't quite get where you're going with that...could be because I'm tired but meh.

Nevermind... I think my attempt at hilarity failed.

eh, No stabbing but i did participate in a fight in my last school where i hit someone over the head with a recorder, several times. Then we got sent to the Clinic, most awkward thing ever (Him Headache due to being hit, like, 10-15 times, Me Broken Nose..good times).
Anyway in my last school, yeah, they were all full of little shits. In my new school however, the new guys actually seem to be more responsible than us! Heh! (Before you ask, i'm in asia so analyze that!)

See this what not punishing kids properly goes toward, they turn into self entitled little douche bags with a rage streak as volatile as a earthquake.

Just give em all a good smack round the face.

Well as far as I know all the serious injuries at my school have been caused by open conflict with other schools. We kind of have a reputation for being giant assholes. That and there is another high-school just down the road from us. As far in school injuries go...I'm not sure I've only been at this school for 2 and a half years.

I've never understood how just a telling off is more effective than a good beating/whipping/caning.
Telling off doesn't do jack. The culprit will ALWAYS get away with it.

When I was in middle school a girl stabbed a boy with a pencil I don't really remember where though. I am also in 11 grade right now and yes all the younger grades are becoming little shits it is very annoying.

I've been stabbed with compasses (another reason to just ban maths fucking outright) scissors, and, in year seven, during orienteering, by a biro that sunk about half an inch into my leg.

Fucking hated that school. About 90% of the school were chavs, about 15% of them were on drugs. The normal ones were targeted. I spent three years of my life being mercilessly humiliated.

Built character though. And I don't have any deep seated mental issues.

Well, not seriously injured, but there was a really annoying kid in our school who never washes, won't shut up, is an arsehole and is generally a horrible person to be near. So, he annoyed me and I stabbed him in the hand (twice) with a pen, I fucked up the pen. What? HE HAD IT COMING.
Oh, and someone came into school with a knife, and another person came into school with a knife and threatened some kids. My school is shit, it's full of chavs, druggies and all round arse hats.

I can't think of a knifing occuring at my school, but then again, i live in England and attend a school which prides itself on its health and safety, average grades, etc. so violence is smacked down on pretty quick.
we did though, in one DT class when the teacher didn't turn up, throw compasses across the room at each other, me and some other lads this is, and when one of us got a direct hit in the palm of somebodies hand, we quickly stopped as it bled quite a bit and he moaned about how much it hurt.
Kids are just ignorant, its not their fault, they don't know what its like to be stabbed by a knife, they see movies (or anime's... or even games) where people get stabbed, shot and seem totally unharmed. I'm not blaming it on games, because obviously they've got to make it interesting in order for it to sell (i'd hate a game so realistic where you jump up by so much pricking yourself with a pin, then needing to apply a plaster or something). Its just Kids don't understand how much it hurts until it happens to them, which it hopefully won't do.

I've cut myself with a stanley knife before (in year 8), i did it on purpose to prove a point "that i wasn't a puff" (being the ignorant little prick i was/am) and i've got to say, it really doesn't half hurt... i don't think mine was even that deep a cut, but it still bled for an hour and hurt like hell.
But even then they don't understand, i know that if i'd have cried (which i fortunatly didn't), the people who spurred me to do it would only have taken more piss out of me. which they did anyway, they called me a loony because i cut myself.
you just can't win with some people.

At my school someone once bit a guy's thumb off. That's all that's ever happened though.

There were never any stabbings when i was at school, however there wasd an incident where a guy shoved a pen up another guys ass. With regards to the new kids becoming more and more like little shits it's true. In my last year a four foot tall twelve year old told a seventeen year old to suck his cock. Other kids his age were trying to start fights with those of us about twice his hight. It's enough to make you weep for the future.
