With his skin de-purpled and no longer smelling of vinagar Able dried himself off and helped himself to the free dental stuff, gladly saying goodbyr to the nasty taste in his mouth that had been building up. He robed grabbed one of the free robes off the rack and scooped up his clothes, leaving the bathroom free for the others.

He stepped outside for a little while to take in the warm, Australian night air, the room was getting too crowded for Able's taste. but it wasn't long before fatigue set in and he had no choice to trudge back to the boy's room and collapse onto the empthy couch, wrapping the robe around him like a blanket and going out like a light.

Prometheus promptly pushed open the door to the boys room. Dan, Andrew, Remus, Steven and Able were all lounging respectively. It was quiet in the room; most were sleeping, someone was in the shower. The early morning brought about fatigue to all. Prometheus waltzed into the bathroom, un-phased that someone, perhaps Dan, was in the shower. He ran the bath and started singing. While the tub filled, he stole a bathrobe from the cupboard, laying it out over the sink. De-clothing, he slipped into the tub, still singing softly.

---------------------------------------

The door whisked open in front of Hecate as she stepped into the girls room. They were all asleep, so she made sure not to wake them as she closed the door. Wrapping her robes around her, she sat in the middle of the floor, her eyes clouding, slipping into deep meditation.

Aria woke up, for no real reason other then she couldn't sleep more due to just being 'awake', she tossed and turned, but to no avail. so she gave up, walked over to her pile of clothing and grabbed her phone and sat back down in bed and continued to read the wiki page on her real mother, before moving on to Odin.

Day 3: Morning

Prometheus kicked open the door to the mens room, as both his hands were full carrying shopping bags. Still wearing a bathrobe and pants, he set the bags down on the coffee table, then whipped back out. He made several trips back and forth, before no less than 10 shopping bags filled the general lounge area. He made his rounds on the men; waking each with about as much subtlety as they had come to expect from the Titan. As they began to stir, he whipped round to the girls room. Hecate was gone, departing after helping Prometheus with the shopping. But she had left a few special gifts.

He woke each of the girls, and announced in his usual titan voice.

"Come into the other room, I've got supplies and clothes and what not. Shower first and lets get moving. Chop chop."

Striding back into the mens room, he started unpacking the shopping bags, sorting them into distinct piles. There were mens clothes; plain white T-shirts, black jeans, socks, underwear, and 6 pairs of all-size hiking boots. The girls clothes were in the same fashion, with stretch-fabric shirts that fit all. In the other bags were passports and plane tickets.

Prometheus stood proudly over his provisions; he knew he had kidnapped Hecate for a good reason. Discoloured skin just below his neck hinted at perhaps a few other "reasons".

Aria had nodded off again after finishing the page on Thor, but Lazily stretched, got up and followed Prometheus out and into the boys room, not bothering to put any clothing before exiting the girls room. She walked across the room and went to sit down by Dan, when she noticed his eye, she stopped cold and went kinda pale "Oh my god what happen to your eye?!" she shouted more then asked.

Dan woke with a sigh. It took more effort than he cared to admit to lift himself from his bed, he thought as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He froze when he felt the gash that went from his tear duct to his temple. He moved his hair to cover it as best he could, he didn't want to answer questions or get the thing looked at. It would hardly be a sacrifice if he undid the damage in a day. He knew his clever ruse would only work on people with less eyes than himself, so he made sure to keep his face to the wall ad he got dressed and ready for further adventure. He was glad he didn't really have pocket contents to forget in his old, now gone jeans. Granted, these new clothes were a better fit...

He was busy tying his boot, and going over his dream when Aria came to sit next to him. He turned and smiled warmly at her before cringing from her yelling. He made frantic hand motions as he tried to get her to quiet down, to no avail.

"Right, sorry I didn't tell you last night, I visited the well of Mimir. He demanded a sacrifice of my eye, and so I gave it up." His smile faltered to a weak one. He hoped he wouldn't have to hear too much more screaming...

Steven hoisted himself up. He had still yet to get used to Australia's time difference.

At least the Prometheus brought in clothing that didn't have blood on it.

"Thanks," Steven said, grabbing a pair of clothing before heading into the bathroom to change. He came out a little later.

"Which airport are we leaving from and how do you plan to get out more... "exotic" objects through the check point?"

"Oh my god what happen to your eye?!"

Andrew sat up, very suddenly, due to the loudness of her voice. Although Prometheus had awoken him, it wasn't before he had bothered to actually sit up. Now he regretted it, but upon examining his bandages and the ribs underneath, it seemed nothing had been damaged. He had given himself another dose of Morphine in the middle of the night, but it was already starting to wear off, so it still hurt. Andrew looked towards the woman who had yelled, Aria. He had never been the shy kind of person, so she being there while he wasn't wearing a shirt didn't bother him. Instead, he just felt a bit of annoyance, who yelled like that in the morning? In a motel?

What was the reason for that?

She was sitting besides Dan, and he seemed to explain what had happened.

"Right, sorry I didn't tell you last night, I visited the well of Mimir. He demanded a sacrifice of my eye, and so I gave it up."

Are you kidding me? He has to be joking, what kind of retard would give their eye away? For what?

Andrew's knowledge of the Norse mythology wasn't better than that of the Greek, but he remember something about Odin giving up his eye for wisdom. Still, it made no sense for Dan to do it, all he would manage to do was to lose most of his depth perception. As a fighter, this could mean the difference between life and death.

I don't want to waste any energy trying to cure this idiot. But I guess I have to offer to do it. Fucking moron.

Andrew went over there, and true enough, poorly hidden underneath a patch of hair, the lack of an eye was obvious.

"Do you want me to heal that?"

I'm not completely sure I can. Not yet, at least.

He still didn't feel as if his powers had returned. Besides, if they did, he wanted to heal his ribs first. Andrew had already healed the son of supposedly the wisest god in the Norse mythology because Dan had acted like an idiot. He didn't want to do it twice.

I guess that's something that doesn't run in the family.

"I'm not sure what I can do, but I'll try."

You stupid imbecile.

Prometheus began to get changed, right there, as he answered Stephens questions.

"We're leaving from Hathepoll airport, just an hours bus trip away. As for your weapons, and my flask, Hecate has...bewitched, if you will, my pack. It'll pass through customs easy breezy. Even if they open it, they'll only see my personal belongings. Nothing more."

Properly attired, he turned to face Dan. The boy was missing an eye. He laughed, a hearty laugh, that shook him until he was doubled over.

"Dan, I can see why you would think that was a good idea. But truly, knowledge from the well will not win the battle alone. A brave sacrifice, but I must say, a foolish one. Though perhaps I'll be proven wrong; whatever the case, I suggest you find yourself an eyepatch."

Prometheus stifled his laughter and composed himself. Dan wasn't the first to make the sacrifice at the well, and certainly wouldn't be the last. He wondered if Dan would share a similar fate that the other martyrs did. Being honest with himself, he cared not for the youths loss. Prometheus found him both arrogant and reckless.

Son of the wise. Give me break.

Gyuuurgh Able's mind grumbled itself back into the waking world. He rolled off the couch and stretched out the stiff cricks in his back. Far from a morning person, Able found some fresh clothes that fit him and thanked the bizzare proto-god-thing for bringing the fresh supplies. 'Thank you.' said his hand.

That was when he turned around and saw the hole in Dan's head. There's a hole in his head! Able's brain joined Aria in screaming for a second, his face was too tired for any major movement. Andrew and Prometheus were jumping in on the topic, Dan for his part, didn't seem fussed.

Well he seems fine... and no one really seems to care... A little bit of saddness hit him there as able had to resign himself to the fact that this was going to be his life now. People losing eyes... and that's okay. His internal voice sighed.

He stepped outside and took a moment to just sit by the pool and watch the water. It wasn't the ocean view he got back home but beggars can't be choosers.

A scream woke Etna up. Immediately she grabbed a shower, getting rid of the dirt and dust from the outback. Etna quickly dressed into the same clothes she wore yesterday, barring the cardigan. Etna then went to see what all the commotion was all about. Apparently someone was missing an eye. Out of their own choice. Etna sighed, 'He better not complain when that gets in the way of the mission.'. She turned around and spotted Able by the pool. Now to start on the first task on her list. She wasn't in the mood to deal with the pandemonium from one person's stupid choice anyway. She walked up to him and said, "Hey, I didn't get the chance last night," She started, "So, thanks for yesterday. I mean, protecting me from a crazed Gaia. Glad to see you're alright."

"So, thanks for yesterday. I mean, protecting me from a crazed Gaia. Glad to see you're alright."

'Don't worry about it.' Able's shrug said. He took his phone out of his pocket, switching it back on and waiting for it to boot itself up (which is just long enough to start being awkward). He wasn't sure if he should 'say' anything in reply to Etna, she'd largely kept to herself up to now but he felt like he should respond in some way.

[Sounds like it's kicking off in there.] The screen said as Able nodded back towards the motel.

"No, no healing. I did this myself and will suffer the consequences. Better to save energy for those who need it." Dan rubbed the bridge of his nose, and turned to Prometheus.

"I can fight with no eyes if I needed to. Besides, I have a feeling this has more benefits than it seems..." He remembered to summon Sleipnir, it required blessings and such, but he had never tried summoning something else. He would try it later, for now he would play Q&A on his self injury. He slinked back for now, speaking to people who didn't understand was wasted effort.

He held out his hand, familiar gold circling around it. He concentrated as hard as he could, and after a minute or two his old mp3 player appeared in his hand, complete with headphones. He gave a wide shit eating grin, as he listened to the Beatles. He knew it COULD work, but testing his limits would happen later.

Prometheus started undressing, in that very room, making a red mark underneath his neck.

Is that Hecate's work? Makes me happy I didn't walk in on anything more than Greek gibberish.

The titan got dressed again, as if he couldn't just have done that in another room. It almost seemed as if he was trying to take revenge on Aria, who had walked in without anything on. Andrew hadn't really noticed that before now, and his eyes didn't linger, as he chose to ignore her. She wasn't really his type either way, too young and immature, as well as fair haired.

I didn't even know I had a type.

Well, it seemed he had one now. Not that Andrew cared at the moment. Right now he just wanted to get going, or go back to bed. Either one worked, really.

"No, no healing. I did this myself and will suffer the consequences. Better to save energy for those who need it."

Damn right you will.

"I'd tell you to find an eye-patch as well. Or something to cover it up, else it might get infected."

I do hope it does.

Andrew then sighed, and a set of the clothes, before going into the bathroom and changing. When he came out, he put on his denim jacket as well, it was reasonably clean, and at least then he wouldn't have to match everyone else. which wasn't his kind of thing. Heck, was it anyone's kind of thing? He made sure to close it, before walking outside.

Right now I just don't want to see more stupid.

And then he spotted Etna and Able talking. Or, having a conversation.

He is a mute, right?

That meant Andrew had no way of knowing whether or not he was interrupting anything. He just decided to act carefree, stretching carefully. "Good morning," he said. "How are you?" He asked no one in particular, but his eyes lingered on Etna. Making her angry in front of Able didn't strike him as the best of ideas, but he liked seeing her reactions.

"I'm not... interrupting anything, am I?" It was obvious that he wasn't. But he couldn't resist asking. The two of them out there, alone.

How will you react now?

[Sounds like it's kicking off in there.]

Etna stretched and replied with, "What do you expect?"

Seriously, whenever somebody did something stupid, someone else was bound to kick off about it. She was about to leave in order to get some breakfast. But Andrew, of all people, walked over. An easy way to brush him off would be to just quick respond and get on with breakfast. No doubt he would probably crawl back to her like the annoying insect he is. Why didn't he just stay and lecture the one-eyed wonder so more? It seemed that Andrew was insistent on being clingy. Well, all he needed was a little snip. Something to remind him that Etna did not want or need him.

"I'm not... interrupting anything, am I?" He said.

"No." Etna stated sharply.

"No."

You're not even trying to hide your hostility. Don't you have sense enough to preserve an image in front of people? Although, I guess your image is being a *****, so it works for you.

"Oh." Andrew smiled some more. "Good. I wanted to talk to you, about yesterday. I think I might have come off as a bit..." He struggled to find a word that would explain some of his behavior, yet paint him in a reasonable light. "Too affectionate. Friendly. It's just that I want to get to know you, since you're the more silent,"

Stuck up,

"Of the group. I'm not fond of seeing someone be alone, that's all." Andrew looked over at Able, and then back at Etna. "Of course, now you were talking to Able, so that's good. Still, I want to make sure things are fine between us, okay? You're not mad, are you?"

I wouldn't mind you being isolated, since that means I can mess with you more.

"No." Etna stated sharply.

'You're not missing much' Able shrugged.

Did I miss something here? It sounded like the two of them had had some kind of falling out, hadn't they only met two days ago? He glanced between the two of them, the way they were looking at each other, their body language. Able could add it all up.

I see what's going on here. I guess Dan and Aria aren't the only ones that work fast. They do look cute together though I gotta give them that.

Then Andrew went into this thing about him seeming too 'friendly' the other day. Yup. Bang, right on the money.

"...Still, I want to make sure things are fine between us, okay? You're not mad, are you?"

At least this offered an opportunity. Or the shadow of one. Mr. Nice Guy's routine was getting a bit boring after all. Still, she didn't like that tone, or those words. Those words that made her out to be some sort of troubled person. Like she was the patient and not the trainee psychologist. Of course he would do that. Act the doctor. Be all lies and smiles. Etna had sworn long ago never to use her powers on people...

Ordinary people at least. The vicious goatmen and the enraged Gaia were somewhat of an exception. She was helping the others by doing that anyway. Nevertheless, the temptation was ever there and it was quickly growing. The only thing that held her back was the memory of what happened when she did take advantage of them. Endless attacks and loneliness. It proved to be enough here. Her stomach was calling for food anyways.

"'Course not." She answered, staying mad was just a waste of time and energy after all. That done, she went to grab breakfast.

Nicole woke slowly, having gotten back later than the others. She showered quickly and got dressed in her own clothes before heading out to see the others. Dan was sitting at the table, and she had no desire to see his eye some more, nevermind get in between the questions Aria would no doubt have for him. If I were her I would probably break it off, a guy tearing his own eye out is a bit too much. Instead she grabbed a plate of breakfast and headed outside, walking past Etna as she went back in.

She saw Able and Andrew outside by the pool and went over to sit by them "Good morning you two, sleep well?" she said. Heh, Able might start to think I'm a stalker at this rate. She took off her shoes and socks and dipped her feet in the cool water, it felt nice and she started to eat from her plate.

"'Course not."

Etna then went inside. Probably to get away from the situation. Andrew waited for a short moment, not sure whether or not to start a conversation with Able. However, when Nicole came out, he decided that it was time for him to leave. He greeted her, before saying "See you later," and going inside. These two had been talking a lot, so with the two of them, he might actually interrupt something. Besides, he wasn't done with Etna yet.

I'll just...

He realized he was hungry. Why he had been so slow to do so, was something he wasn't sure of. However, he went inside and got something to eat, when he spotted Etna in the corner of his eye, sitting with the others. Surprising, but he sat down besides her, as it was the most fitting location to eat breakfast. Now she couldn't say he was following her, at least. Having chosen to eat some fruits for breakfast, Andrew cut all of the fruits up in small, neat, pieces, which he tended to do when he had the time, humming a well-known piece from the Chopin nocturnes. Although he did have a habit of humming every now and then, it wasn't really something he did in public. And that despite having a knack for music, and soothing voice. However, it would annoy Etna, so why not? Besides, he hadn't had the chance to listen to much music lately, the phone-ringing had ruined his mood when at home. That was the only place he did listen to music, in private, to relax.

This is relaxing too.

He had to admit. And more so because it was not relaxing for Etna. When someone reacted to it, he would apologize, call it a habit, and stop doing it. At the moment, it kept his mind of the situation, and more importantly, his wounds.
