Gotta admit, I have to give props to Mr. Bale. Entered the hospital "in secret", didn't want to make a big publicity thing out of it (though that seems to have fallen through)...

A classy gesture, in my opinion.

I heard about the petition after the fact. Don't really think it had much of an impact honestly. Though he was under no obligation to do it, I'm sure most decent people would have done the same.

Cool! Like many others I find it hard not to laugh at his Batman voice, but he plays a really interesting Wayne. I especially like his scenes with Fox and Alfred... though, I admit that they usually kind of steal those scenes.

Good on Bale. In my opinion, he wasn't obligated or expected to do anything about this. He came out to support the victims who had themselves gone to support his new film. BZ, Bale.

I'm glad he did it. I probably would have visited the hospital if something like that had happened during the showing of a film I was involved with. That he tried to do it without it becoming a big fuss shows that he wasn't doing it for himself or on behalf of his financiers.

lmao they want to sue warner bros over batman... a super hero who will not kill anybody. There is disney movies where the main character kills more people than batman XD

Bale is a pretty decent Batman and I thought Dark Knight Rises was awesome.

Good that we went to visit the patients. It would have been even cooler if he were dressed up and did the voice.
