Maverick's eye rose to a miniscule amount 'Ah. I retract my previous statement. You have some skill, but still, too rash. But you're getting him angry at you. The moment he could, he would kill you. No Regret or Mercy. A dangerous move, but I thank you for giving me an opportunity.'

Maverick raised one of his hands slightly, subtly asking Trace to stand down "I suggest you calm down. He holds onto what you seek, if you lose it and try to kill him. Then he'll never tell you will he? He'll be too dead to answer."

Trace looked at Maverick, he looked like the exact opposite of a person who would give out advice for someone to calm down. He decided that he did have the better option though.

Trace turned his back and walked into the group with the rest of the others. "So help you God if you turn out to be lying about it" the blue flames had turned to pure energy flowing around his knuckles, still in the same shade of blue. "Thank you for your advice" he said as he did a small bow towards Maverick.

Nailos still hidding behind his allys Seeing this conflict gain momentum will get us in trouble, but I shall side with my commrades as I always do. Nailos finally gets the courage to talk and trys to confidently as he can walk up to Tanan and speak his peace. " If we wish to not embark on you quest sir then please just let us be on our way, surly you wouldn't hurt a follower of the holy and fiery phoniex?"

Maverick nodded "It was no trouble. Do not worry yourself about it." 'Opportunity to create a Communication between the members of the group has been established. Objective 1 Complete.' He looked at the man who asked Tanan such an Inane question 'Let us go? Of course he wouldn't. If it's of such.....Urgency as I think it would be. He wouldn'r let anyone who wouldn't help him get out alive and tell anyone else what has transpired here though.....that question seems TOO Obvious. Is it perhaps a Trap? To let him lower his guard? We'll see.'

Fitzgerald turned and saw Nilos. "Ah, a pious man amoungst these fools." Fitzgerald stepped upon the dog house that the dwarf was on earlier, his hair waving behind him on an unfelt wind, the moon's light shining off him and the two mighty tower shields upon his back. "Why do we question this man? why do we not help him? He comes to us seeking aid, and all of you question him. He has been sent by the nobles and that is enough for me. I ask for no compensation. Man of the Phoenix", he said pointing to nailos." Don't you agree we shall do good where we can, to bring light and justice to this land. I stand ready to serve, asking nothing in return, Who stands with me?" The moon shined off him, his whole entire suit of armor shimmering as gold.

"Fitzgerald" nailos says calmly, "I would help this man if it was a quest of the light, but I doubt his motives are as pure as he makes them sound." Nailos paces nervoulsy as he often found to do in times of strees. finally thinks of something to say "I shall not judge as it is often not our way in the abby, and you prove your point Fitzgerald. This decision impacts all of us perhaps we take a vote?"

This man is obviouly hidding a hidden motive, but I shall not turn my back on my belifes out of fear Nailos lowers his head as if he is slightly defeated an already world weary. " I shall side with Fitzgerald, if this matter comes to a vote."

"Pious men" said Fitzgerald," always the most sensible. You are right, we cannot assume this man is as virtuous as we are. The cloud of trechery can always mislead the blade of justice. I believe we should stand as we may, for a man set upon the rigthous path against his will, will soon be corrupt. You are wise, pious man, people would do well to listen to your words." The moon still fell upon him as he stepped down from the doghouse." My righous hand must be led by a pious and just man."

Trace stood there with his arms crossed, he could feel the heat radiating from his hands, but ignored it. "I have to go. This is the only lead I have found in all my 6 years of searching for my sword. So I can't just kill him and be done with it".

As Much as I hate to admit it, this could actually work out. If I get my sword back, I would be eternally grateful. he thought, "I don't mind if he is not pious and virtuous, I am still probably going to be the least pious here, but as long as he knows about my sword, I have to go"

Fitzgerald looked as the man with the blue hair walked up to him I wonder how he does that, must be some magic trickery "He who is motivated by simple things is often made into a simple person"

Trace looked at the man that looked like a chest high wall. "That sword means more to me than your life." he said. He had to uncross his arms, they had started to burn due to the power radiating from his hands.

"Hmm... You shouldn't be so protective of something like a sword, it makes you turn to tretchery more simply, becoming little more than a dog chasing an old bone." Said Fitzgerald his hair swishing behind him and shining as he turned to look at the blue haired man.

"You don't know how much that sword means to be" Trace snapped back at Fitzgerald. The power at his knuckles glowing brighter as he thought of that day when his sword and most of his life was stolen from him.

Nailos always one trying to pervent conflict decides steps in. "Now now, that sword has some sentimental value to Trace, and though it is his motive to travle with us now I'm sure it won't be in the future." Nailos eyes widen with worry, When I left the abby and joined this ragtag group I was hopping to travle with them to help this land, not waste time bickering

Fitzgerald heard the blue haired man repeat the same thing over again," well, I'm not going to change your mind." He said flatly, he watched to see who joined him.

"No, I'm leaving once I get my sword. I can't rightly just leave my group, they depend on me." Trace said, thinking of the Templars, it had been a big effort to try and get them into a respectable group. "Hopefully this will be over quickly, my group will be like a headless chicken for the time being"

Fitzgerald looked out among the group, his armor catching the moonlight. His golden haired swayed in the cool nightime breeze," Who shall join our quest." He shouted out, into the distance hoping to rouse the group.

"We haven't discussed risk/reward yet, if you knew anything about us, then you would have brought that up first"

Garrant paced calmly over a small, imaginary line, calmly assessing the situation and judging whether or not his and Kinglet would benefit. He turned his attention to her for just a moment, there she was, her eyes darting and logging every detail. He smiled secretly beneath the shadow of his hood.

'She picked it up well'

He turned back to the noble and regarded him with a cold stare, waiting a responce and at the same time, trying to judge how much coin he might be carrying....

Isaac takes his hands off his weapons slowly, still unsure of what Tanan's plan or motives were. "You know how to twist your words well Tanan, though you have said very little you have piqued my interest in your so called "task" I'll help, for now at least. Isaac turns and walks to Eovik shooting a quick smile at his former master. "At the very least this will be exciting, and gives me an excuse to get back to my training" Isaac says with a grin

Tanan watched as Fitzgerald began to rally the group to his cause, taking note of the doubter. He had secured a few for his side but the shadowy one still seemed against him. This was made even more obvious as the man spoke about reward. That wasn't the only thing he picked up on.

He cares for the woman in the back. Somehow I can twist that to benefit me.

Tanan turned to Garrant a weary look on his face. "Your name is Garrant, born and raised in the Crystalmoor Barrens. You learned to steal to survive... Need I go on? I do have my connections," He quickly glanced to Trace at that last bit. "As for reward? I can offer you some coin if that is what you wish."
