Hammond woke with apparently no recollection of the night before... Well, he did remember small snippets of the night, but not really enough to count it as remembering.
He recalled walking back to the inn with Em and Magnis... Yes. He remembered that, definitely, due to Em's strange behaviour. Em appeared to be somewhat concerned for that man, not at all like herself.
When they got back they all played a drinking game to lighten the mood, he seemed to remember... Ah, the Archaic barely-filtered urine that they called alcohol, that was it... Ah! He clutched his head, the pain in his temples flaring up before settling down to a manageable level.
For his first hangover from Archaic drink, Hammond was coping well.
And he had been having the most wonderful dream before he woke as well. Something to do with his companions and gruesome death, he seemed to recall. It might also have included a plot line about them having to collect marshmallows and destroy purple dragon-bear-tigers with them, so he doubted it was much use.
But just as quickly as he had woken the dream had been drowned by his headache. Curses... That could have made a decent (yet drug addled) story. He shrugged off the headache as best he could and quickly picked up his belongings while confirming that they were all still there.
He left the room, locking it as he left, and descended the steps rather clumsily. Damnit... I'm glad Em isn't here to see this. He reached the bottom and slumped onto a seat at the bar, right next to Lord Kronos.
"So... do we get to leave soon?" Hammond mumbled the question, using the majority of his concentration on shutting his headache up.

I don't mind if you two, Sky and Nuke, end up remembering a drinking game or not, but it's certainly more interesting to write the guy waking up from a night of drinking than an uneventful night of absolutely nothingness.
