"That's it!?" Hammond was raging, all of that... He went through all of that for 500 Llum? He'd expected a ceremony in his honour for taking time out of his day to rescue one poxy weakling from a quite frankly awfully defended prison, getting himself transported to an alternate realm and then trekking all the way back to some surprisingly ungrateful ruler!

"We go all that way for this?" He dropped to the floor and slumped into a sulk, mumbling about how he deserved a parade.

A few minutes later Lord Kronos reappeared and summoned the group "Come with me."

Em followed Lord Kronos, before remembering something important.
"Hey Ari, can I put you down now? My arms are tired." She said to the girl on her back.

 

[Nukey]

Magnis followed behind Em and Ari, muttering swear words to himself. He was surprised that the Lord hadn't noticed he was naked, most likely best to keep it that way.

A gate promptly fell on either side of the party with Lord Kronos safely on the other side "I don't know whether I should prepare you a feast or throw you into the pit!* You loosed the judges on the realm! do you have any idead the kind of damage they've caused?" The pit is where slaves and fighting animals are kept, it's not a pleasant place

 

[Nukey]

"We have Judges?" Magnis said scratching his head, not really aware of what was happening.

Hammond stopped, entirely bored of this, and gave his glaive one glance, wondering how much force he would have to use to relieve himself of the nagging pain that was this lord and the idiots he had managed to join forces with.

He decided it wasn't worth it and began listening for the Lord's explanation. If it turned out to be tripe, the gate would hardly hold up against a beam sword.

"Entire wars have been lost, thousands of people have died because of those judges' damn illusions! and you just walk out into the desert and go ;Hey, giant glowing stone, let's touch it!' WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?"

 

[Nukey]

"Well excuse me princess, you never told us that glowing stones were a bad thing! Besides, what's the worst that can happen?"

He quickly thought back. He made a trip in his mind, wondering what Em would have been thinking of at the time. It roughly equated to 'OH! Shiny!'

"You know, I was just trying to keep your guy from being murdered. He was the one running off after these two to go touch a glowing stone."

Lord Kronos shook his head "You realise of course that I could send you straight through the floor to the pit, yes?" He asked, irritation showing on his face <spoiler=OOC> Go ahead, get in a fight with the clan leader.

 

[Nukey]

"You could......But then you would never learn where the treasure is hidden!" Magnis replied allowing his stupidity to take control.

Lord Kronos quirked a brow and walked away, two guards stepped out from a hidden door on either side of the temporary room, grabbed Em and Ari, went back through the doors, closed the doors, and pushed Em and Ari back out on the outside of the cage.

"Why would you... What the..." Hammond looked to where the doors had just been, looked down to the trap door below himself and gave up. Reasoning with this man was making no progress. He felt like bashing his head through the bars would provoke a more rational response, for about the 500th time this journey.

"How about you let us go? I know that I'm really not wanting to go down into the pit, and you probably don't want to end up with a sword sticking out of your temple, so how about you let us out now?"

Em looked confused, but stayed silent. Obviously she had been taken out of the cage for a reason.
I don't wanna say the wrong thing and get thrown back in.. She thought, her hand clutching the now useless shiny rock inside her cloak.

Lord Kronos stopped and turned, looking at Hammond "Bring him." He said, guards promptly grabbing Hammond and shoving him outside "Threatening me, Eh? A grave mistake." Kronos said, removing his cape and unsheathing his sword. "Defend yourself, if you can."

"Wait wait wait." Em ran forward, standing between Lord Kronos and Hammond.
"He didn't do anything Lord, in fact he was the one who wanted to keep moving." Em said, trying to stop the fight before it began.

Hammond pulled the shield from his back and unsheathed his own sword as it flickered to life. He didn't want to use the sword, but if he had to defend himself with it he would.

"Come on Princess, he's made his choice. If he wants a fight, I'll give him one."

 

[Nukey]

Magnis raised his hands and backed up, not wanting to get involved in this fight.

"Lord, you know me right? I would never do anything to harm you or this world, just give me another chance alright?"
