Surprised no one's mentioned Tobal #1. Hilarious little Japanese fighting game. All I need to tell you is that there's an android with a funny yet difficult to pull off suicide move.

Star Wars Jedi Power Battles.

But seriously, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is one of my favorite games ever.
Star Wars JPB and Star Wars Demolition.. Man that game was just crazy fun! Podracer, FTW!
Also my favourite psone game would have to be Heart Of Darkness.

and a few more that I can't think of.

From what I know, Legend of Dragoon belongs in there, but I still have yet to play a great deal of it.
The ending is AWESOME, all of them actually speak
Stuck on that last accursed boss.
The story for that game was just absolutely epic. Now i want to play that game again. Anyone know if it's backwards compatible with the ps3, or if it gets halfway and won't load up one of the discs?

That would be a good reason for me to get a ps3.

I searched this and the closest thing I got was made back in September of '08.

Simple topic, what are some classic PS1 games.

I'll go with: Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy (7, 8, 9), Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid.

What are some others? Which one is your favourite? Just to add a spin to it: has a sequel or remake of it been made on a more recent console? If so, did you enjoy it, or did it disappoint?

Oh ya, I guess I should say: My favourite is Final Fantasy 8 (please don't hate me), and no sequal has been made. I don't know whether or not I want a remake to happen. It would be nice to see it in better graphics (although the graphics are pretty amazing for 1999), but I don't know if it would lose whatever it had that made me love it in the first place.

I think this should generate some discussion. My work is done here.
Try a game called robo pit, it's a kind of beat 'em up where you create your robot, beat others up in a giant tornerment, steal their weapons, power yours up until you can become the most powerful robot
It was a lot of fun and me and friends have had loads of hours shoved into it.
Also Demolition racer was a lot of fun, you are basicly a demolition car driver and have to go in races, arena battles and compete for more cars. It sounds simple but it was a hell of a game.

Well I like just about all the games listed so far but I have to say when I was a kid it was all about Monster Rancher. I remember scrounging together as many cd's as I could and when I wasn't lvling my materia in FF7 I was raising my monster's stats in Monster Rancher. Not to mention it had it's own t.v. show not many ps1 games can say that.

P.S. It goes without saying, the best RPGs are on the ps1.

If you can go back and train some more then you should do that, also your dragoons level increase as you use it in battles, so try to get them to level 5 for the dragon moves
Its a really easy boss, believe me. Its just that he confuses Dart. They then confuse the rest of my party. Since my party is so high level they destroy each other in about 5 turns.

Then you obviously need something to block confuseion, i cant remember if theres an item like that though
Dont have one, and I unfortunately cant find one. It sucks quite a bit. I think my flaw was that I took too long. I spend too much time making sure all my party was in the blue, and did not focus on finishing him off.
