*ignores the person dissing AC/DC with some restraint*
I would say "American Woman" and "No Sugar Tonight" (some count it as two songs, but its always played as one) by (the) Guess Who, and most any early song by Bachman-Turner Overdrive ("You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet", "Let It Roll", and definitely "Takin' Care of Business").
Also:
"Pinball Wizard" by The Who (yes, I KNOW it was in Rock Band 2; bite me);
Bad Company: "Rock n' Roll Fantasy", "Movin' On", and "Bad Company" by... Bad Company;
Basically any Billy Joel song ^-^;
"I'm Burning for You" by Blue Öyster Cult
aah...screw it.. lemme just name off bands here >.>
Cheap Trick, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Van Halen, Dire Straights, The Eagles, The Cars, Electric Light Orchestra, Foreigner (especially "Jukebox Hero"), Grand Funk Railroad (just to name one that hasn't been up: "Time Machine"), Grateful Dead, Quiet Riot, Queen, Savatage, Aerosmith... Spinal Tap (yeah, kinda just kidding there, but This is Spinal Tap [a "rockumentary" of the band] is a must-see movie)....
Ye gods, I can go on and on, but my list must include well over 200 songs by now, and a great deal of them are from before the 90's. But, to leave off on a positive note, here's some quality techno ^^; (yes, this is on my list... blame one of my MSN friends for that >.>)
