I have one of those Gillete Fusion's because they're shiny and I have the brain of a magpie.
It's quite good though. For some reason I had a beard all sumer but now it's Autumn I'm going clean shaven again.

I personally like the idea... One of my uncles shaves with a straight razor, OP is right... classy as F*ck.
Oh aye ... and I can't get with the electric shaver thing either. I've tried it. Slow. Painful. Dreadful results. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but using a regular safety type never really seemed to be as difficult or lead to so much fail. Good luck to those of you who swear by them, but... bad experiences here.
BTW... speed? I pretty much use single, at most double passes (particularly with three days' growth after a lost weekend). Probably about as quick. The brand lives up to its name. I can't be having with all that mach 5 quattro turbo WRX lunacy, but the classic does everything the ads promised just fine - a rare case of turth in advertising. Minimal bit of wetting and lather, swipe swipe swipe, detail detail, wipe with wet cloth, leave.

hateren - roffles x100, spoilt only slightly by the subject clearly having difficulty keeping *himself* from cracking up halfway through. takes the extreme rice idea and turns it up to 13.

This is quite condescending, but it has reminded me I need to shave today because I have Uni tomorrow, so thanks.
It says kind of a lot about me that it never occurred to me that this was about shaving one's face.

At the moment however I use clippers to trim my chin and a 4 bladed razor with disposable head to shave my cheeks neck and mo. It's a gilette of some sort. Has a "Precision" blade on the back.

You should take pictures of yourself doing each step for a visual aid. Especially the proper way to hold the blade.Scolar Visari said:

I used to be a scratch/shave man, but Gillette Fusion wet shave and I've never had any problems at all.
