Quite suitable for this topic:

With potent, flowery words speak I,
Of something common, vulgar, dry;
I weave webs of pedantic prose,
In effort to befuddle those,
Who think I wile time away,
In lofty things, above all day
The common kind that linger where
Monadic beings live and fare;
Practical I may not be,
But life, it seems, is full of me!

There is a giant robot t-rex with fire powers and a sword for an arm attacking you. All you have is a flash light, rubber band, and chewed up gum. What do you do?
Call MacGyver.

A girl is living in the single room at the top of a building. A killer is on the loose out there in the world. She heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and saw a man. The man said "Sorry I thought it was my room" and promptly went away. The girl called the cops, and the man was arrested. Why did the girl call the police?

EDIT:
Sorry if this had been already asked. and:

Damn, I forgot the answer to that at the most inopportune moment.

What is easy to manipulate and hard to operate?
It looks a little bit like a strawberry. quote]

This one has been driving me up the wall. Here's my best guess:

The human heart. It's a symbol of our emotions, which are easily manipulated. It's hard to operate because it's going 24/7 requiring a lot of energy. It could maybe be said to look a bit like a strawberry...

Yes, it's a stretch but I need closure dammit, and to that end I will spend as long as it takes jamming a square peg in this round hole.

EDIT: If that's right I deserve a cookie that could cause a solar eclipse. I spent like an hour straining out that brain nugget.

My bf thinks the answer to this is that it used to be the killer's room, that he came back (say after being in gaol or something)and the girl realised he was a killer because of some evidence he left behind...

Is it close?

52 motorcycles....someone please - i need to know.

I know a couple, mostly simple ones:

1/ How far can you walk into a forest?
2/ What can you put into a bucket to make it lighter?
3/ If it takes 2 men 1 hour to dig a hole how long will it take 1 man to dig half a hole?

This is a what am I riddle:
I have one wall with no doors lined with the finest silk, one corrdoor white like milk, my precious golden treasure in my central room, some think of me as a womb. What am I?

I like that one mainly because it rhymes :)

What has no beginning, end, or middle?

1. Half way, then your walking back out again.
2. A hole.
3. You can't dig half a hole

First I heard this was in the book the Hobbit, Albeit slightly different phrasing. An egg.

Here's one for you.

A man was on the 22nd floor on a building and decided to jump through a window. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground but after he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

Add gramma to make this into a grammatically correct sentence:
I said that that that that that man said should have been underlined
I said, "that that that that that man said should have been underlined".

You have a stutter.

1. What can you catch but not throw?
2. What goes around the world but stays in a corner?
3. I'm light as a feather, yet the strongest man can't hold me for much more than a minute. What am I?
4. You use a knife to slice my head, and weep when I am dead. What am I?
5. I'm where yesterday follows today, and tomorrow's in the middle. What am I?

Is 2 a shadow?

I believe the second one is a reference to the south pole, so won't the bear be white?
There aren't any bears in the south pole, only penguins. Polar bears are up north.
Yeah, but that's the only thing I could think of :p

Also, here's mine:

1. No sooner spoken than broken.
2. Something you can't get wet.
3. If there's 5 eggs in one basket, someone takes three and you take two, how can there still be some eggs remaining in the basket?

Not sure if done yet so tell me if it has.

You're in a steel cube with dimensions 3m x 3m x 3m. All you have with you is a table and a saw. How do you get out?
Cut the table in half put them back together. Two halve's make a whole, jump through the hole and escape.
