my favourite riddle:

with marble walls as white as milk
lined with skin as soft as silk
within a fountain crystal clear
a golden apple does appear
no doors are there to this stronghold
yet thieves break in and steal the gold

what is it?
Is it an egg?

This is a relatively easy one: A man walks out of his home, turns left three times and is met back at his house by two men in masks. Explain the situation.

You are on a tv gameshow with three doors. Behind two doors are $1 each and behind the third door is $50000. The host asks you to pick a door. When you do, the host opens a door different from the one you picked to reveal $1. He then asks if you want to switch the door you picked. Do you?

yes, I don't know why but there is some math equation that explains it.
Is this question from the movie 21, because that is how I know what i answered.

It's from before 21, but you are right. If you stay with your original guess, you have a 1/3 chance of the 50000. If you change your pick, you have a %50 chance.

I got one, I hope it hasn't yet been posted, I couldn't find it but the riddle may be worded differently:

Also, please don't look on any search engine, it is a fairly popular riddle. Or instead if you do, please don't spoil it for those trying to figure it out. Thanks!

What is this? (please take a look from a religious standpoint)

It is greater than God,
It is more evil than the devil,
It existed before God,
If you eat it you will die,
The rich need it,
The poor have it,
What is it?

The answer is 7 letters long.

Well played, it's correct.

Um...y'all sure about that? Whether you pick a different door or not the odds of the situation (and your random pick) have been reduced to a ratio of 1:2. It's an even 50-50 chance whether you pick another door or not.

Ok, here's an easy one for you guys...I'm sure you'll knock this one right outta the park! And remember: All brain-teasers are easy...once you see through them.

There's a great big cargo ship docked in a port somewhere. This ship has paint marks at 1 foot intervals up the side to measure displacement. Currently the water is right at the 10 foot mark. But the tide is coming in and it rises at a rate of 2 feet per hour!! In 3 hours (assuming the tide rises at a constant rate the whole time), at which mark will the water level be?

It's still at ten feet, since the ship rises with the water.

I got one that I learned in Latin class surprisingly. Should be pretty easy.

An old sheik is dying, and he must leave his fortune to one of his two sons. He decides to hold a race between the sons to decide who gets it. Whichever camel crosses the finish line last wins the fortune for his owner. The two sons are out in the desert for days neither one willing to cross the line when they come across a wise man. The wise man tells them both something and they jump back on the camels and race for the finish line. What did the wise man tell them?

He told them to swap camels.

What word starts and ends with the same letter and usually only contains one letter?

Couldn't bother reading 350 posts earlier, so forgive me if this has been done.

I build castles and tear down mountains.
I make some people blind but I help others see.
