COD4... still the best of the bunch

Reinstalled COD4 last night and had a couple of games, and enjoyed it more than any MW2 games I've played in the last month.

The pace is so much faster, everyone rushes and it just has a much bigger fun factor... I can't quite place why, it just does.

I quit MW2 a week ago because I wasn't enjoying it, it was just too much rage.

Funny thing is, I'm terrible at COD4, my ratio is 0.98, while I am much better at MW2 (1.7 ratio), but playing COD4 is just much more fun to me, even though I die a lot more.

Has anyone else gone back to, what I feel, is still the superior Call of Duty game?

Or do you feel it's dated now and you prefer to move forward for good?

I always thought COD would be more fun anyway if they didn't keep track of ratios.

It's stupid to care about them but I guess a lot of us can't help it... it exploits our compulsive, competitive urges.

I found COD4 more fun too. I'll still play the odd MW2 game but I dunno if i'll ever be that bothered to hit 70.

Well, I took a break from Modern Warfare 2, for Assassin's Creed 2. I tend to play a single game at the time. I've completed AC2 100% now, however, so I guess I'll be heading back to MW2 if nothing else comes in my way.

My friends also play MW2, which is the most significant reason for playing said game.

Well... I still havnt played MW2 online, stupid Xbox Live. And I havnt even finished it yet. So I do think that I liked COD4 better than MW2...

Hell, I enjoyed CoD3 multiplayer a hell of a lot.
I probably had more fun doing CoD3 multiplayer than on the later games.

Yah, I prefer cod4 to mw2. I was a lot better at it too.
My covert ops class kicked ass, fond memories of pure ownage and gunning fuckers down on pipeline. *sigh*

Hell yes COD4 is wa-hay-hay better than MW2. It just feels...better, probably because it IS better. Don't ask why...it just is.

Neither had I, that's why I was surprised to find that I was having twice the fun with it than I was with MW2.

The faster pace and limited killstreaks make for a much more fluent, less campy game.

Sure, the grenades are annoying but that was never game breaking for me.

The only real big annoyances I ever had with COD4 were host advantage and martyrdom.

The guns are MUCH better balanced in COD4 too.

Yeap. CoD 4 is superior CoD game, but still i have played it ALOT and its getting a bit boring. i wish they would make CoD 4 mod for MW 2 ^^ (but we cant do mods D=)
