I don't like coffee, but I am addicted to caffeine. I usually drink a 24 oz bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper every morning, and have two or three more by the end of the day.
Thats alot of Dr.Pepper, I would get sick of the taste by comsuming that much.
I used to comsume alot of energy drinks back when I was 15, when I worked, the store up the road from my work, would usually have sales on what we called "mother" energy drinks. Terribly bad for you, I would usually drink 1-3 a night never really did anything to me though, since I usually worked till about 11.30pm. Now though I might have maybe 2 a year, I just can't bring myself to drink them, I had one a red bull a couple of days ago, tasted alright, but did little to nothing in terms of effects.

I drink about 3-4 cups a day. No cream, no sugar. .

That first cup of the day is meant to be savored. Bring it up slowly...breathe it in a bit...and take a small sip. Enjoy.
I cannot agree more.
1/4 milk, no sugar, beautiful.

About a cup or so everyday. Either once right when I get up or right before I go to bed. I have never noticed any effects of it, guess I don't drink enough. I take it the same way as the post above me, either with a bit of milk or just black. I'm also a fan of hot chocolate and rarely drink soda (speaking of beverages).

Who here drinks alot of coffee?
I never used to drink it but since I started to get up early for Gym session in the morning I found that coffee was an almost perfect sort of "wake up" ritual to get the day started, I like the effects but I also enjoy the taste, fits any breakfast meal.
Anyone else here drink alot a coffee? or have a dependency on caffine high drinks?
I usually tally anywhere from around 1-3 in the mornings, on weekends I use my $700 Cafe espresso machine to make my coffees as well.
Does the $700 expresso machine make it taste $700 better? o_O

I use to but then I started crashing-HARD- off it and have now fully converted to tea. Keeps me up longer without the crash. Now i can't stand the taste or smell of coffee. Also, I tend to be more addicted to water.

Not really. Drinking the stuff either makes me slightly more awake(not awake enough to warrant drinking it) or I get real pissy. Then later I can't get to sleep at night.

Plus, Coffee tastes like a candy-bar in a cup to me, and anything resembling candy in the morning makes me feel sick.

I only drink it sometimes on weekends when I'm with a friend.

No, not at all, it depends how you brew it, most cafes usually do almost half coffee and half milk, I usually do 2/3 coffee 1/3 milk. I use coffee beans that I buy from cafes which use the same brew in their coffees, it does taste alot better then instant coffee.

One every half an hour, roughly, whenever I'm reading or working on the computer.

Probably 1 or 2 cups a day, of regular coffee. Other days I skip it entirely and drink a few delicious cappuccinos. I have a fairly serious espresso setup at home.

Some days I don't have any at all, because I'll skip on it if I'm not feeling particularly tired, and will avoid coffee if I'm already a bit jittery or nervous over anything in particular.

kinda depends, If I'm at the university I ussualy go for 1 roughly every 2 hours. If I'm studying (or something similar) at home I ussually make 1 big and strong one around 10 and then sometimes another one around 4.

See those black countries up there? Those are the countries that drink the most coffee. Now imagine that you'd do this chart for those countries only: my country would be the blackest. Yes, I live in Finland, and we have the largest coffee consumption per capita in the whole wide world.

And I'm one of the worst offenders. I'm pretty sure I have a genuine chemical addiction to caffeine. I can't get through a workday without multiple (large) cups of coffee. Right now I haven't had coffee for few hours and I could literally fall asleep if I wanted to.

As for how I like my coffee?
Well, I like my coffee like I like my women. Brown and bitter!
(I drink with a bit of milk, although that's optional, and no sugar. And if I'm making the coffee: extremely strong. So strong that it could punch you in the face and you'd lose a tooth or two.)

Anywhere between 7 and 12 strong cups a day at work. I'm not addicted, I just can't function without it.

Edit: And black as the ace of spades and no sugar. Its just wrong any other way.

Only time I consent to sugar/milk is when I'm camping for airsoft, and the brew goes on, because most of the other people have it with milk/sugar.

Well, I used to not drink coffee a lot, then I started drinking it fairly often, but recently I've gone off it again a bit. Maybe it's because the new coffee we bought isn't very good.

However, when I did drink it regularly it was never more than 2 a day.

It's cutting down to once a morning, assume I don't choose tea instead. Mainly coz I've realised, after a 3 month summer holiday, I've really got to realign my sleeping patterns. Worked so far. I can once again wake up at 10 with only the usual grogginess.

It'd've been so much better if FilipJPhry had said that, but never mind. Did you end up having a banquet with hobos afterwards?!

OT: I'm pretty much indifferent towards coffee and I can go without caffeine just fine. While at uni, I didn't have any at all, but my post-grad days, one coffee a day out of a cafetiere with cream, no sugar.

At work I was a cheapskate and had instant with two sugars. Now, I'm back to being a right snob...

I'm currently drinking my first beautiful cup of the day.

Filtered goodness.

I usually have 3-4 cups a day. Not for any caffeine reason, I just love the drink itself.
