Forced stealth sections where if you are detected, you fail the mission and go back to the last checkpoint.

Come up with a concept for a game that sounds as boring as possible, most likely this game will be using the crysis or unreal engine to pump out superb graphics, but because the game is boring, the graphics capabilities will be made redundant.

Here's mine: A game about being a milk man, basically its a bit like Crazy Taxi meets GTA4....except without the violence, police, stealing, racing, or any other form of fun whatsoever. Objective of the game, drive to the next person on your satnav's house and deliver their milk before the time runs out, deliver all the milk you can within a certain time to beat a high score. Has superb (almost realistic) graphics and 100% accurate gameplay....all for no particular reason whatsoever :)

Oh, and you can't run people over, otherwise you lose points, game over, you're fired and jailed.
The game you describe sounds a lot like the arcade game Paperboy...but with a paperboy rather than a milk man, and of course the graphics were from the 80s. That was a really fun game! I'd play your milkman game, and I'd probably have fun with it too.

Count to 1,000,000,000 - THE GAME!

Press a button untill you reach 1,000,000,000 presses. Each button press is accompanied with a yawning sound effect.

Also this:
Which is more awesome since it really exists. [http://www.clickquest.net/]

I like the idea of a game where you have a never ending pile of boxes and you must move them across.

There are achievements on xbox 360 for 1,000,000 boxes, 10,000,000,000 boxes, and 100,000,000,000,000 boxes.

Oh, and you can't quit or take longer than 10 seconds to pick up the next box or the counter resets.

How about a game where your sitting down (its in first person) in a room with nothing but a chair and a table in it. On top of the table is a painting that was just completed, and you gain points when you look at it and watch it dry......By the way, you also lose points if you look away to stare at the walls.

It'll be a hyper-realistic modern military shooter with over 100 different customisable weapons and a truly inspiring story of heroism, sacrifice and camaraderie on the battlefield written by some of the best writers in history and utilising cutting-edge graphics and physics engines to flesh out the over 15 hours of gameplay.
There'll be multiplayer as well! The maps will be on a scale no gamer has ever seen, playing host to epic online battles with over 500 players on each team.
One thing though...
You can't move.

I've played forklift truck simulator 2009.
Easily the most boring game I've tried.
Forklift Truck Simulator 2009 is so overrated, 2010, 2010 is where it's at.
Pff! Please. 2010 was dumbed down to accommodate mainstream audiences. '05 was a far superior game in every respect.

A game were you have to push a button exactly every 17 minutes an 33 seconds.
Every time you do this, nothing happens.
Every time you fail, a random folder or file will be deleted from your PC.
If you try to exit the game by any means, your disks will be formatted.
It will be formatted to use the WWFS file system.
FOREVER!

EDIT: I mean this one:

A MMORPG that you play as the role of a quest giver only. You have to stand on your location all day long waiting for any NPC adventurers to come by your way to hand them the quest. Also no matter how you explain the details of the quest they just want to get to the quest asap. LAstly once they had complete it you have to hand them the rewards and the cycle is repeated.

Underwater Rescue Mission with Limited Breath time: You must perform several rescue missions under water while surfacing to breathe every few seconds, but not taking too long as to not allow your rescued person to drown, every mission is also timed, there are aquatic enemies but you have no attack button, you can only avoid them. It's all done in 3rd Person. There is no progression to speak of (no level, no bar, no money, no rewards, not even a high score)

You have a sack of beans and a cup. Toss a bean into the cup. You win if you get all the beans in the cup.

This is not only a horrible video game concept but also a horrible game concept in general.

How about a game where you basically totter about all day, but at night monsters come out and wander aimlessly around.

It's not really the concept that makes a game boring, so much as the execution.
Yeah, it sounds boring. But...

It is boring. Very boring.

Modern Warf.... /dodges tomato

Alright, alright. Fine.

Okay... how about this. An open world game where you have to spend days upon days of your life grinding just so you can get marginally more powerful and grind out quests marginally faster. Then when you become as powerful as you can get and there aren't anymore grinding quests left, you can grind to get gear upgrades to make you marginally more powerful, so that you'll be able to earn marginally better gear which will let you grind for marginally better gear than that. And you keep doing that until you're 38, living in your parents' basement, and collecting unemployment to purchase more Mountain Dew and Doritos. When you come to the realization that all of the gear you've spent years of your life earning is digital and you have absolutely nothing beyond permanent Cheeto-stained fingers to show for the time spent in-game, that's when you win. At least until another one of those games comes out and you start all over again.

Wait. Games like that already exist. Well, damn, guys. I'm at a loss of ideas here.

It's a game where you watch a tree grow and help it doing so.

Still, I totally want to buy this game once it comes out. I must really be bored right now to be saying that with a straight face. I'm pathetic.
