The only thing that could make that better is a scene where you hijack a a dragon and install mechanics into it to turn it into an Ally and then fight another dragon in mid air.
That could be in the final area, Berlin. You know how they hung Swastikas on all those lamp posts? As you take the reins of the dragon/fly past them in gameplay or even just in a cutscene, they burst into flame.
I think I just had a joy-gasm a fun-gasm a game-gasm and an orgasm at the same time.

I've had this idea for awhile, I have no idea how I could make controlling this game work though.

The level would consist of several floating rails going all over the place. You have a small rope connected to a bracelet on your wrist. You use this to slide down the rails. Think of it like when some one goes down a zip line by putting a rope over the zip line and hanging on to that. That's how this game works.

The objective is to get from the top to the bottom without missing the rails or falling to far before you get on another rail.

The biggest problem is execution. Unless we can invent some kind of virtual reality system, I doubt that game will ever see the light of day.

A game where any of the NPC's could be an enemy and kill you, and you have to figure out which ones are enemies and which ones are on your side by getting information or observing anything strange about the enemies.

Alright here's my scenario:

You're a high ranking space marine, John Mc.Averagename who's fighting an evil alien race from the planet north pakoreussinagdarance. You fight with an arsenal of guns that are variants of a machine gun, shotgun, sniper rifle, and pistol, plus one weapon that has just one shot in it, and it can decimate your enemies. The game also a really awesome online feature, that makes up for the fact that our main storyline only has 10 levels and takes about 5 hours to play. The game is also only seen in brown, grey, or black. Also, Osama bin Hitler is the last boss, and Nolan North voices the main character. And you have a black sidekick that the second player can play as in co-op... and he raps at the end.

Instant game of the year material, behold my genius.

A combat space simulator in which the space ships, rather than being the typical streamlined, one-seater jobs like out of a Sci-fi movie, are fat, unweldy craft that look more like steam trains (though the action will still be fairly fast pace). These vessels are highly customiseable, so you can gear towards a whole range of tactics. Plus, the damage would have to be top-drawer. There will be no sissy lasers (think huge, loud guns), and there will be bits flying off the ships whenever they get hit (not necessarily crippling them though). Ships take a lot of damage to take down, unless you hit them in the right places. Otherwise, you'll just riddle them with bullet holes.

Here's one: An RPG set in a zombie apocalypse, where everything can be used as a weapon, or, if need be, a healing item (for example, a lighter can be used with aresol to create a "flame thrower," while at the same time it can be used for cauterizing wounds). The player is given an open world to run around, attack zombies, figure out how it all started, and teem up with the 1% or so of humans still alive. Maybe it could be set in the world of Left 4 Dead, where the zombies get more and more mutated for the longer you play it. Just thinking out loud.
though if you make it too advanced, you might indirectly teach school kids how to make bomb...

how bout a game about a space marine who has a superhuman strength and can slow down time.. wait...

crap...

That would be cool. You could call it "Paranoia" or something.

I like this. We need more games that poke fun at the medium. Although they should also be able to hold up on their own.

I rarely post here anymore, but I couldn't help myself. One of my favorite concepts is a game (or trilogy rather) called The Domino Effect. In it, you play as rundown police detective Alec Hasslin, who is trying to track down the city's mysterious criminal kingpin, known only as the Domino. Killings related to him have a calling card left at the scene, a single domino. The Domino is also the man that killed Hasslin's family a little over a year ago, driving Hasslin to obsess over catching him. Along the way, you battle Domino's lieutenants: Cyprus, Bergen, Muggins, Sebastopol, Matador, and Block. Each lieutenant takes their name from a game played with dominos. The game would be third-person shooter. Beyond that, I really don't know how to do the gameplay. I focus mainly on the plot in my concepts.

Oh yea, and rather than it just being in space, it would be in the upper atmosphere of a gas giant. That way, you can get a whole array of pretty colours, plus different gases produce different atmospheres (some radiactive, some corrosive, some disrupt electronic equipment etc.).

Hmmm... I am building a fantasy world... but I'm not even going to set a story in it yet until I finish doing concepts for the world. Once that's done, THEN I'll decide whether I should make it a book, a movie, a graphic novel, or a game... judging by what I've come up with so far though... it could easily work out well for any of the formats I listed. So... that's a bit of a roundabout "I duuno".

A super smash brothers style FPS with characters from different FPS's, Master Chief paired up with Duke Nukem vs the Medic and Gordan Freeman.

I had yet another idea for a first-person game in which you are in a huge, sprawling factory complex. You play as the daughter of some rich business tycoon who owns the place, and as he will be passing the business onto you, he wants you to manage a certain problem that has been going on at the factory level (to see if you are up to it). Turns out there are lots of problems in the place - potential strikes, riots, some abandoned sections that have fallen into disrepair - even factions forming amoung the work forces who live there. It is your job to sort out these problems, maybe through talking, maybe through puzzle solving, maybe even resorting to violence. The trick is to try and find a solution that bests suits you. Seeing as how you don't necessarily see eye to eye with your father, maybe you would want a riot. Or maybe you'd want to find a peaceful solution for everyone. Hell, maybe you could just demolish a wing of the factory (with or without the workers inside). The choice is yours.

I've always liked the idea of taking world of warcraft gaming and making it a fps. Tabula Rasa tried this and abismally failed however if one were to take and battlefield 2 approach to a wow universe i think the end result could be quite interesting. It would lean farther to the fps though so a headshot is a one shot kill.

Another idea i would i like is an open world game very similar to fallout only without the nucular devistation however it would be a good idea to set the game in Africa or somewhere with allot of open area and not very much stuff around. The idea would be to survive but the inovation would come from the weapons, you have to make them. The idea would be to forage for parts and anything could be taken and used (within reason). For example you might find a bike, propane tank, lighter, and a metal tube. Sending the propane throught the tube to the front of the bike were the lighter is and there you have a flamthrower bike (yes i know this wouldn't be very effective but i like the idea). There would be conventional fire arms which could also be combined to create say a sniper rifle shotgun (strap 3-5 sniper rifles minus the stocks and sights to a single triger and BOOOM) with an ass tone of reload time and an armbreaking recoil. It could have a fable drop in drop out online style or mabey a junkyard battle where you take your craziest inventions to see how you match up or even a who can make the better thing with both opponents getting a set amount of parts. I would like it to be realistic in the combat so getting shot in the leg makes you fall or walk slower and the sort. I do not however want it to be realistic enough that you have to eat, sleep, and shit to stay alive and un-soiled.

Combining the two ideas would be ideal however near impossible because a wow style game would be too big to support the kind of freedom to creat im looking for.

I'm thinking maybe a game with two campaigns, one being a mix of the FPS and RPG genres, where you could make your character, choose your squad mates, and all members of the squad at the time could gain experience and unlock new weapons and abilities as they level up, but not so much where skill is a non-factor because it would still be a FPS at heart, and the abilities would be like the perks in COD4 except they would be available in single player and some of them would be things that you couldn't use in multiplayer. I was also thinking of choices that the player could make that would effect the story.

The second campaign be mix of the Stealth and RPG genres, and much like the other campaign it would have choices, unlockable abilities and weapons, but this one would have different abilities and weapons for the most part. To bad it would be demonized like nothing else by Faux news and others.

Story- In about 50 years the US is in a massive civil war over one of many possible reasons , my favorite idea for the cause of the was Religion, say maybe the more extreme religious right made a coup attempt at the federal government, which triggered a civil war between Christian Fundamentalists and well, everyone else. I was thinking that unlike the last Civil war where whole states were on one side or the other, instead I was thinking that the Fundamentalist Forces could have made large gains in the more religious parts of the country, throwing whole states into turmoil in some places.

In this scenario the FPS campaign would be from the perspective of a elite Army Rangers squad which is on the front line fighting FFs(We can use that as a acronym for Fundamentalist Forces) which have managed to take over numerous National Guard Armories.

The stealth scenario would be from the perspective of a FF assassin who's mission is to assassinate the high value government targets to destabilize the Nationalist army and make it much easier for the FFs to make there advances.

EDIT: and this song will make an appearance somewhere,

An RTS where you can control any soldier as an FPS or you can command each as like a master controller. There can be a lot of people in one game. Two teams, I guess 50 or more on each side. You can't control controlled soldiers.
I have though about this before, and it would be awesome, kind of like battlefield with someone else controlling the AI right?

I have one. It is a take on the Survival horror genre. You play as an actor who is type cased as a horror movie villain. You start off in low to no budget slasher films and then you progress to multimillion dollar movies and eventually own your own studio. The score system will be base on how creative you maim/kill/drive insane each of the victims in the film while staying within the parameters of the sub genre for the movie you are making (e.g. slasher, torture/kill, psychological, thriller). The more points one scores the better props/effects are available to place in the next scene/movie. It needs a little work but it's a start.
