T.T

The man was a comic genius and an underrated serious actor. May he laugh it up in heaven for the rest of eternity.

RIP Leslie Nielson
You leave behind a legacy of comedy derived from years of experience in dramatic roles - truly an amazing irony, possibly a dry joke.
I leave you all a clip from one of his roles in a small Mel Brooks production, a personal favorite of mine that comes to mind along with his infamous Airplane catchphrase(s).

I grew up on his comedies. Airplane is still one of the best comedies of all time, alongside the Naked Gun series, and tonight now sucks.

Awwwww man, that's terrible news! Sorry to see him go, he was a good actor.

...wait a minute, he was 84??? I didn't think he was that old. Where have I been?
In any case, RIP Mr. Neilson.

Feels Really Bad Man. [http://arts.nationalpost.com/2010/11/28/comedian-leslie-nielsen-dead-at-84/]

Veteran comedian and actor Leslie Nielsen has died in a Florida hospital, his family confirmed to Global News on Sunday evening. The Canadian actor was 84.

Nielsen rose to fame with roles in the Airplane and Naked Gun film franchises. He had apparently been suffering from pneumonia for more than a week.

?Today at 5:30 with his friends and his wife by his side, he just fell asleep and passed away,? his nephew Doug Nielsen told Manitoba radio station CJOB68.
:(
*Sigh* :[

I hated hearing that. He was one of my favorite actors and always had a funny role no matter what he played in.

Part of my inner child just died ;-; Nielsen never got the big cheque in his movies and dropped out of the limelight almost completely, doing movies like 'Wrongfully Accused' where he was paid under-the-table each scene.

But still ...

Another part of my childhood taken from me.

He will be missed.

All I can say to him is "good luck, we're all counting on you".
