Wow...that's such a kick in the head...Leslie Nielsen, I thought he was gonna be around forever...

He had a good innnings no doubt but this news still ruined my day. A master of deadpan and slapstick, many comedians working today could learn a lot from looking at Nielsen's delivery.

I took a four-hour nap this afternoon just past. Woke up right around 9:30 when my phone rang---'twas my friend saying "Dude, the world just sucks right now."

Cue me saying "Why? What happened?" and her like "my god, you haven't heard."

At this point I'm thinking someone shot Barack Obama. But she then said "Leslie Nielsen died!"

And I said "Dude, the world just sucks right now."

He was an all around likable guy and the only good element in Scary Movie 4.

Too bad he never really got enough praise for his serious acting.

Is it bad that when I read the word "hospital", I immediately thought to myself "A hospital? What is it?!", or do you think he would appreciate that?

I obviously didn't know Leslie Nielsen personally but he made some hilarious movies and it's sad to hear that he's gone. RIP Leslie.

I love this guy. He was the best comedian ever. I can't believe he's dead. Well, he had a good run and he died in his sleep surrounded by his family and his friends. I can't think of a better way to go. Actually I can, and that award goes to Bruce Willis in Armageddon but whatever. Rest in peace Mr. Nielsen
