In games with bolt-action sniper rifles, like most of the Call of Duty series, I exit the scope view after every shot as I work the bolt, even if I'm not forced to, because it's more realistic.

I have a fetish for reloading, I care more about the reload animation and sounds than anything else in an FPS game, especially bolt-action sniper rifles, I don't care if theres a better sniper im using the Springfield, which is why I loved Battlefield Vietnam or CoD2 so damn much, the rifles and the reloading animations were a creamfest, used to make weird sounds when reloading the kind of sounds most would consider sexual harrassment if done in their general vicinity.

for some reason in rpg's I dont really consider my characters to be
"starting to get strong" until they hit their first 1000 or 1500 HP
or when they can do 1000 damage in a single attack

I allways check the screen shots on the back of the packet and in the
manuel to see what stats there characters have in them and Im never
happy till I match them same goes for flash backs in the story like in
ff7 where you fight along side sephiroth for awhile I wasnt happy till
I was that strong it happened in breath of fire 4 I wasnt happy till
ryu was as strong as fou-lu

With all the people gaming naked, I'm started to get worried that I'm wierd because I game clothed...

As for wierd stuff; neat bases, hoarder of items with sentimental value, compulsive ordener of inventory (in games like Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale, one person gets all the arrows, the other all the weapons, the other all the scrolls, etc) but worst of all is the compulsive merchant.
I take anything that has a selling price. One copper piece for a 50 pound rock? It's sellable, take it. When I'm stuck in the wild with a full inventory but find a good item, it's math time. Amount of gold pieces per pound is the thing to keep into account here, and I can spend 10 mins easily reorganising and making inventory of my inventory so I won't lose an item that could've given me a goldpiece more profit (though going on adventuring and making profit in that time would be more efficient). Old Dutch habit I think. It does allow me to name the item cost for a ton of items in a bunch of games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, The Witcher) from the top of my head because of hours agonising over them.

Spending all of a half hour gathering money and killing enemies to buy some sort of weapon that after I buy I don't like and never use again(Ninja Gaiden, Destroy All Humans)

i would have to say, in gta i have to park th cars perfectly before i get out of them. not when i'm getting chased but if im just driving around. i have to park neatly before exiting.

I do something like that, if I'm not being chased I'll stop at all of the red lights and go about 30-45mph.

When i used to play the TBS game Star trek: Birth of the federation a few years back i always built a ship that was my 'Flagship', and imagined that that was where i was controlling my fleet. I also used to run 'Planitary attack drills' where i shut down all uneccicary structures and powered up planitary defences for no reason. Also in Dawn of War I never fight space marines against imperial guard or sisters of battle since they're all supposed to be fighting on the same side and it goes against the background fluff.

Well... When playing most Strategy Games I put on an Officer Cap... and like most people I try to keep everything nicely organized and ordered. Sometimes instead of a quick victory I would stay back to repair, resupply and regroup my troops to make a nice entry.

Also it sometimes happened that when playing on the Soviet side in WiC I immitated a Russian-English accent when using Team Voice chat.

Giving my PS3 "cuddles". But no tongues -unless it's been extra good.
Thats not that unusual. After playing Resistance for 3 hours, I picked it up and kissed it in the logo. Its just so great it does that to you.
Cool! Great to know I'm not the only per...er, I mean sensitive and loving gamer out there ;)

In pretty much any shooting games at all I have a habbit where I must always have an even amount of bullets in my gun. So If I have just finished a gun fight and I have say 27 bullets I will randomly fire one off so I have an even amount. The battle rifle makes this difficult.
