Like everyone else, I love a nice and clean base with disciplined units, although Company of Heroes did completely destroy that habit and throw it out the window. Infantry should stay scattered btw.

TF2- When I'm playing the Pyro, I love standing in a middle of a battlefield. When my team gets wiped out, I do a Pyro taunt. It sorta says," DAMN YOU ALLLLLLLLL" to the opposing team, before I get pwnt.

MMORPGH (?)- When I play the priest, I usually buff anyone I see. Iono, makes me feel more in character. If whoever I buff isn't thankful, I buff whatever enemy they're fighting. I heal them too. Makes me feel happy.

When I play games (usually fpses) I get a strong feeling of shaking my knees in kinda of vertical direction. I don't know if it's the exitement or just somewhere in my mind forcing me to do it. Sometimes I've shaken them for about 10 minutes and haven't realized it.
I shout PWNED to myself or in the chat way too many timed.

Also, keeping everything "neat in my own mind" is really important somehow, and I feel very distracted if I don't do so.

I prefer gaming on the bed with the laptop.

I'm obsessed with voice-chats, thinking that typing is too slow. (Execept when I have a sore throat like now.)

whenever im playing a new game (mostly FPS) (and Bioshock is a good example) i move the character like they would, like in bioshock when you first got down there i walked super slowly and looked around every corner before moving on.

i also have an annoying habit to check every container twice or sometimes three times......you knowm, just to make sure there are no new things in there

in Dawn of War (any) if there was only 1 relic to capture and i got it first, i would use up all of my turrets to build a defensive square around it. obviously this kinda left my base without defence.... but the relic is MINE!!!! HAHAHA!!!!

one final thing: in any game where your character uses equipment (almost always RGPs) i will try to make my character look awesome even if the good looking stuff is a bit or even alot weaker than the wierd looking stuff. to go along with that i get sentimentally attached to items (usually weapons)if they have been with me long enough. i might replace them on my character but i will never drop/sell them. EVER.

In games that have inventories, i have to have everything organized just right. In Dead Rising, i had my juices, my books, and my weapons all grouped together...I once lost all my items because i wanted everything neat right before i got a cutscene...i had to go out and get it all back ><

In Pokemon, I must capture legendaries in Pokeballs. Plus I hold onto Giold nuggets. And In the recent ones, my 5 teams for the elite 4 have consisted of Lucario, Grass Starter, Dialga/Palkia/Garchomp, and various others.

In Rock Band, a new game for me, I must play a few songs to warm up for tour mode.

Hm... I tend to take chances, lobbing a grenade into a doorframe on random, hoping your opponent will burst out tends to work surprisingly often.
I can never resist playing the sniper class in any game, it's always the first thing I do.
When I'm waiting for respawn, I always take a sip of orange juice (It has tipped over my keyboard twice, yay). In StarCraft I'll rely on that my opponent is so stupid that he follows my schemes, always.

I have serious OCD issues when I play games.
Inventory has to be organised perfectly.
I seem to need to fire a bullet every 10 seconds even when there's nobody to shoot. (a problem in stealth games)
Every enemy in the level needs to be killed before I finish.
I have to find every easter egg/unlockable.
Oh and also, in every pokemon game, I MUST pick the fire pokemon as a starter.
I am a freak.

RTS:
- picking fights i know i have absolutely NO chance of winning, not even with a miracle
- using the most random strategies (all Sniper and 2 AT guns at Company of Heroes for instance, even when he just builds tanks)
- 'theme battles' - lan with a friend and i'll play as the '6th armored' (all vehicles, mainly tanks) or something like that
- never attacking until i can bomb the other into oblivion (this is awesome with Company of Heroes as you can use mass artillery on him. this cripples their defense so badly that you can usually wreak havoc on his remaining forces/base)

FPS:
- Reloading fetish (I ALWAYS make sure i have a full clip before engaging enemies)
- trying to get a really cool/weird/funny kill, even when it's a sure way to die

that's basically it. although the weird strategies pay off surprisingly often, most people don't expect to be fighting someone who uses nothing but Engineers at Company of Heroes. and i have to admit picking fights you can't win is awesome, because you can occasionally give the other guy a run for his money.

Something that kills me wayyyyy too often

With RTS's I can't resist to completely annhilate and take over a map on the last level (and maybe a few other levels i.e. "Escape Velocity" RA2 YR), and i try to avoid putting buildings or walls on roads, even dirt ones.

I mostly play MMO's now, but when I played more FPs games, I had a compulsion to maintain full ammo on all my weapons... it would upset me if I couldn't 'find' more ammo for a weapon I'd used recently.

In RPG's (MMO's) with inventory 'bags' or 'chests' I must have everything organized by type, and/or priority... higher level healing, progessing down to lower healing potions, quest items all together, loot items sorted by type (junk, armor, weapons, all sorted by type)...

I have odd moments of OCD as many others here seem to share... If I have a bag of M&M's I have to dump them out on a plate or napkin and sort them by color, then eat them by the fewest of a color to the most of a color... my cd's and books are alphabetized by author/artist...

I do not game nude, but I do game "comfortable" ... which means I wear clothing that might be deemed indecent if I wore it outside the house...

enough true confessions for now...

i would have to say, in gta i have to park th cars perfectly before i get out of them. not when i'm getting chased but if im just driving around. i have to park neatly before exiting.

I do something like that, if I'm not being chased I'll stop at all of the red lights and go about 30-45mph.
I do exactly that, but then I have the tendancy that if anyone were to bump into my car or pass a red light I'll make it my pure focus to race after the offender and destroy both their car and all the passengers inside. after which I return to my careful driving and staying on the right side of the law :D

When I do play an FPS (It's rare) I try to make tunes that finish with the guy I'm shooting at dying. I tend to favour "I Get knocked down, but I get up again, you aint ever going to keep me ERRGGH!"

And lastly in action/fighting games, I like beating an opponent down to the tiniest amounts of health then become defensive so I have the glee of hitting them with the weakest move and them dying when they try to attack me back.

I can be such a child sometimes

In C&C: Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge.

I sometimes like to play skirmishes where I only use Psychic units and try and crush the enemy with their own forces.

In RPGs I insntly try to level up as much as possible. In FFXII I was at level 99 before I even got Penelo for the first time (when you power up the sunstone) and in FFX I had all of Tidus' Overdrives before the octopus boss fight. Also in Dragon quest VIII I was at level 30-something by the time I got Angelo.

I also have the habit of making sure I've done everything possible in an area before leaving it, I've gotten all the chests and examined everything just to make sure I've not missed anything.

And when online sometimes I just put on strange accents and say I'm from a made-up country. Once I put on a Russian accent and said "I ham from Yugoslovekrachia." and one guy I was playing said "Oh yeah, I've been there on holiday a bunch of times!"

Smash Bros:
I tend to use the Falcon Punch often, even when I know the opponent is going to dodge/block it

Soul Calibur:
- After killing an enemy, I'll run off the ring before the replay begins.
- When killing an enemy with an attack that doesn't knock them down, I'll keep hitting them to keep them standing for as long as possible, then use a throw on them just before the replay begins.

Resident Evil 4:
In my inventory, all of my items are upside-down.

I just remembered another...

After playing games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill ( ESPECIALLY SILENT HILL ), I can't turn lights off when it gets dark. I have to walk around with my DS Lite on high if I want to walk 3 feet through my closet to get to the bathroom at 3 AM. I'm cool like that. x3
