Mass effect 1.

I find the combat pretty naff, the story isn't as great as people say it is (In my opinion) and... I dunno, it just doesn't click with me in the way most games do.

Fable. I missed the PS2 and XBOX generation. After I had finished oblivion, I friend of mine told me Fable was quite like it.

It was not. It was very very boring.

I have yet to finish F:NV. I tried it 2 times, but for some reason I forget about it after a while.

The GTA series are immensly over rated. Especially GTA 4. Is just too boring.

Red Dead Redemption I enjoyed at the time, I really liked it. I tried to finish it again a couple of weeks, but I find it extremely tedious now.

Company of Heroes is a big one for me. All my friends love it, but I can't enjoy it while I'm playing it. Something about the nuances of the UI fuck me over several times a game. I'm always open for a game of Supreme Commander, though none of those same friends are willing to play it with me.

Assassins Creed. Played the first game but it really burned me with all its crap such as unskippable lengthy super-boring cutscenes and really crappy enemy-AI. Also every trailer I have seen for subsequent AC-games, Ubisoft really does not seem to understand the concept of Assassins. In both the brotherhood-trailer and the AC3-trailer, the main character does a strange frontal attack on a small/very large army. That isn't really how I picture super-cool secret society of assassins to work.

Half-life 2. I loved the first game, played it 5-6 times... But despite trying several times to like half-life 2 I just cant. Level-design is horrific so I often lose track of where I am supposed to go which disturbs the flow or even kills me when enemies are shooting from above. I am never having fun with the game, and the story is not as good as in the first game.

Original X-com. MAN I tried! I never really played the x-com games when I was younger, I dont know why, just never had the opportunity. But I love the kind of games that X-com is so I thought I would remedy that now... but MAN it is one hard game. I am usually good at games, but despite playing on beginner and looking through some tips&tricks guides I still get my ass handed to me, especially in alien bases. Maybe I have just gone soft over the years. Looking forward the remake though!

Majoras Mask: I LOVE Zelda, but this is the only regular Zelda (except 2) that I haven't finished... Not because it is hard or because I dont like it, I just HATE having a time-limit that stresses me out when I play. I did get quite far a few years back, but then I stopped playing and that was it...

Oh also, all bethesda-games. I tried with both Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 (I love post-apocalyptic settings) ... but there is just too much freedom. I want the game to take me by the hand and say: "come here, this is the way to go" while giving me a great story as a reason to stick around. As soon as I get out of the prologue in bethesda-games and realize I can go ANYWHERE, I just loose all motivation to play.

Guess thats it for now...

Lost Odyssey, I just can't. I'm really trying! I know that the main character has a reason to be a bit angsty, it just put me off in the first five minutes. But I will look past that because I know it's going to be an awesome game. I'm trying!

Metro 2033. I read the book before trying the game. I felt a bit disappointed by it. I'm trying to get into it, it does have a great atmosphere when you are outside, it's the underground areas that make me feel a little bit disappointed.

Any multiplayer shooter except when playing local. I've always found that those types of games are just no fun unless you're playing in your living room with the people sitting right beside you.

TES games. I find them rather bland and boring.

Fallout 1. I know it's a good game. I love the story. The characters were interesting and the lore is just the right level of camp for me. But combat is just so goddam boring!

JRPGs of any sort, the only one I did manage to finish was Star Ocean the second.
RTSes just turn me off. It's headachey and unfun.
Most modern FPSes are boring grindfests without anything creative about it, the only modern FPS that's cool is Bulletstorm.

Oh yeah, this too. Infuriating, to think I used to play Halo 3 online.

The Witcher games. The first one just didn't sit well with me, and I have no idea why but I just couldn't enjoy it. Then came the Witcher 2, I tried that as well and god damnit LET ME HOLD DOWN MY FUCKING RIGHT MOUSE WHILE I'M IN A ROLL AND BLOCK ONCE I COME OUT INSTEAD OF HAVING TO PRESS THE DAMN BUTTON AGAIN. I also hated the way people spoke, it came off as if they were trying to hard, it didn't feel seamless. I didn't feel as though the games were necessarily bad, they just weren't for me.

Every FPS ever made. Including the divine offering that is Goldeneye. I just don't see the appeal. My brother bought it for our N64, I played it a bit, and it just didn't capture my attention.

Part of it is that I hate the first person perspective. It feels like I'm playing the game looking through a cardboard box helmet. No peripheral vision, which is kind of important. And I don't really like shooters, either. Mass Effect was alright, but I can't say I'd complain too much if they made it a choose your own adventure story where the fights were just more cutscenes.

Any Legend of Zelda game at all for me. I did like the way Wind Waker looked, and the music is fantastic, but I just can't get into the game itself.

Lollipop Chainsaw, seriously I played it for all of 5minutes which was more than enough for me. Packed it back into the return envelope and sent it back to the hell it came from!

Only one that springs to mind is Bayonetta. I played that for 2 hours before putting down the controller and asking myself.. what the fuck is happening here? There's hair and angelic bird monsters and some woman keeps warbling and belting out horrible music in the background.. also I shoot guns with my feet.

Ok.. lemme see the reviews.. 8, 9, 8, 9, 9, 4/5, 4.5/5 ...etc.. I must be dense. =(

Planescape Torment -

I can really see why people like this game. The setting is good, and the characters are interesting. But the gameplay is just so dull and boring that I can't bring myself to play to far into it. When a game has bad gameplay, no matter how good everything else is, I'll never consider it to be a good game unfortunately. Perhaps not liking D&D is the reason, although in saying that, I honestly didn't mind Baldur's Gate 2, so I don't know, maybe its a different rule-set (I know theres a plethora of them).

Final Fantasy XII -

Didn't even feel like a game to me.. more like a film that expected me to move the characters from one scene to the next by hand. Gameplay felt like it didn't even want to include me at all, for the first like 5 whole hours I just pressed auto-attack over and over to win most fights, what's the fucking point then? Also, I'm not going to waste an hour of my life reading text logs for the backstory in a VIDEO GAME.. SHOW, DON'T TELL! Urgh.. I could write a 10,000 word review on this fucking game and it still wouldn't do it justice. One day Square Enix will get back to making good Final Fantasy games, I have faith...

Kingdom hearts :(

I have tried 4 or 5 times to get into this game but... its fucking disney man :/ and the characters i have been introduced to so far seem like emo kiddys or irritating nut sacks and donald and goofey.

I love JRPGS and i have been told i need to play kingdom hearts but i just... can't get into it.
