I got a 7 year old computer, no virus protection, Windows XP professional.

This virus is not supposed to attack your computer, but track your keystrokes to aquire you credit card information. So you wouldn't know you have it until you start losing money in the bank.

Conficker stops you from running in safe mode.

If you can run in safe mode, you don't have it.

Not being able to run in safe mode? Well, atleast there's one way to find out if you have Conficker or not.

If you can see the top row (you should see all six, but the bottom row is just to show your internet is working) you're ok.

This vulnerability was literally patched before the virus even surfaced.. it just takes advantage of people who either never update or have pirated copies of windows and therefore cannot update.

What about keylogger,i use ProteMac KeyBag.it's keylogger record every keystrokes for my mac computer.It's really cool prog.

This the thing I got after plugging my USB drive into a school computer. It was quickly detected and deleted however, and you can download and run a malicious software removal program off the Microsoft website anyway, which I did.
