Possibly, even though I have it on PC (and now have a PC that can run it. Yeah, my old PC SUCKED).

But, it would only be if
A) My skin would be on the XBox version through a linked account (I've grown too attached to my Link :D)
B) They made it possible to port worlds from PC over to XBox
C) There was some form of additional content

I have it on PC and don't intend to get in on xbox as i know it won't be as good the PC version because microsoft will charge for extra content added to it.

Yeah, as long as they don't fuck it up with Kinect. I love Minecraft on PC and on Xbox it won't ever be that good, but it'll be nice to have the distance on far for once. Man, my laptop is shit when it comes to games.

absolutely not. but then i refuse to ever touch minecraft. I've seen it played and it doesn't interest me so there is no reason for me to get it.

I'm a console gamer, but I still love PC gaming. Why restrict yourself to a single platform? But anyway, I'll get it because of the achievements tied to it, but when I get the full gamerscore I'll go back to the PC version.

I don't own a current gen console but a lot of my friends who are mainly console players have bought minecraft for their PC's since it runs pretty well on non-gaming rigs. I think this xbox version will be a flop since it will lack all the cool third party stuff we can do on a PC, unless Notch puts in all the text mods and all other things, like the portal gun.

Console version? NO. PC version? YES

However I need to get a better PC if I want to play minecraft. My small laptop that I am curently typing on does not have enough power to play something like minecraft without freezing up or exploding.

I recently looked into Minecraft because so many others were raving about how 'great' it was. Maybe I have different gaming views or didn't explore it to it's full potential because after trying the 'free' version and wandering around I got to a point I was just digging a hole further and further into the center of the world I was in. I eventually found an area that looked like it had been dug out before, but I was bored at that point and closed the browser.

Maybe I'm like a few others I need a goal in order to keep me motivated. Building massive complexes, bridges, gardens, etc may be someone's cup of tea...but I on the other hand think of all the time someone wasted building those elaborate buildings and how that time could have been spent doing something else.

Then again, it might be better with other people or even friends. *shrugs* Who knows, I just know that out of the two I would rather mess with it on PC than dream of trying to play it on a console.

It's an art tool that requires you to grind in order to use it.
I have good taste.
No.

No, because I got it for my computer way back in Alpha. I would take a guess and say it would work better on my computer anyway, rather than my Xbox 360.

I've already got a similar game, Total miner: forge, which is pretty damn good. More basic than minecraft in some ways but it's 2000 levels deep! I might get minecraft though...i wanna build a lava castle!

EDIT: Is it coming out as an indie game or as an arcade game? If it's indie then there is a good chance additional content will be free. If it's arcade then i'm doubtfull

Every two weeks when I get my money I think about it and I always come close but I haven't picked it up yet mainly because I'm having a good enough time with the free-to-play version. I'm wanting more out of it but I don't know if I have the attention or, time to really commit to a project...or adventuring. Also my PC chugs and, breaths heavily and, hacks (as in coughing [sub]I'll stop now[/sub]) while playing with the fog at 3/4.

No, never played on PC either. The objective of the game seems to be to make pixel art of things that already exist so... meh?

Although yes, I did see a LoZ mod that looked awesome for it.

I won't because I don't like it, nothing to do with consoles. In fact, I don't like it because I prefer the much more complex Dwarf Fortress.

I already own it for my lab top.

I would say "because mods!", but after owning it for about a year I still have absolutely no idea how to download a minecraft mod.
You download one and read the instructions.

Mostly, it consists of downloading it and pasting it in the %APPDATA%/roaming/minecraft folder.

Come 1.9 or maybe release, modding will be implemented entirely, probably with an in-client library.
Seriously, I'm completely hopeless when it comes to things like that. Unless I have visuals and someone sitting with me holding my hand, I will never get it.

Even right now, I'm trying to set up my new iPhone and I may have somehow managed to crash it.

I heard about the 1.9 mod thing, so that's what I'm waiting for.

Doubtfully. I already have it on the PC and I love the mods for it. Maybe if all my friends get it suddenly on the console I will but doubtfully..
