anytime i get scored on in NHL 09 by the AI.. I work so hard to score and taking 20+ odd shots, and then they get to my hash marks and send a weak floater to the top corner..Pisses me off. More than a couple times have i been shutout 1-0 and they only had 3 shots on goal.

Final Fantasy 10 is my favorite of the series, but some of the ultimate weapon challenges made me crazy. The lightning dodging was a particular lowlight. After doing it for awhile, I checked out an FAQ and found out that the way to get the weapon upgrade was to dodge 200 times...in a row? At that point I just said 'screw that'. The other evil one was the butterfly catching thing. They always...turn...red! I know lots of people don't like FFX-2, but at least in that one the sidequests aren't impossible.

SW:TFU glitching so I have to go through the second last level... for the fifth time...due to the exact same glitch. I almost ripped my controller apart.

Half Life 1. the Gonarth cave it just sat down there and would never move. Apperently this glitch happens very rarely, but i've never beaten the game because of that glitch. it's happened to me 3x in a row

Max Payne on PC. I was just about to get hit with a rocket and I hit quicksave instead of quickload. I headbutted the keyboard and some keys came out sticking to my face.

I once was playing Final Fantasy 3 on the SNES and I was playing for about 4 hours straight without saving. I got through most of the first half of the game (the light world if you will). Then the lights went out and when power came back I was all the way back to where you first get sabin. I was pissed and threw the controller out the window where it actually landed in front of this girl I liked. Needless to say it was a good ice breaker but fustrating none the less.

im on my 3rd mouse, second keyboard, and 4th headset due to WoW PVP

I nearly went insane fighting Psycho Mantis my first time. I had no clue about the second port trick..... Seriously, I had never spent more time on any segment of any game then my first time playing through MGS.

Playing SW: TFU, but this wasn't really related to the game. I was actually watching the debate while playing last Friday, and John McCain said something stupid, can't remember what, but I know it was enough for me to huck the controller at his face for it.

final fantasy crisis core on the genesis fight i got him down to low health only to lose the last little bit of health to one of his add on things nearly snapped my psp in half

Goldeneye on N64. A summer of ridiculously competitive games almost every night with a rotation of a bunch of friends. I think we went through 7 or 8 broken controllers. Wasn't always anger either, we just played so much and so hard that the joystick would stop working.

COD4 on the hardest setting. Makes me angry to a point beyond recognition but I didn't break a controller.

Still cannot beat One shot, One Kill or the last 4 levels on Veteran. Funny thing is, I beat Mile High Club on veteran with 15 seconds to spare.

Speaking of skating games, some of the challenges in EA's skate were near impossible. I remember spending half an hour trying to get a trick to a)work and b)register, getting steadily pissed off as I went, before finally jumping up and down, screaming a sound that can only be described as A banshee getting it's nads ripped off.

Truth.

That game pisses me off for the simple failure to include, for want of a better phrase, a lefty-flip option. Would it be that hard to include a menu option to reverse the controls so that hapless lefties such as myself can do the bit requiring insane dexterity on the left stick, rather than being forced to use our comparatively uncoordinated right thumbs? Gah. Still, it's not stopped me playing it for bloody hours. It has stopped me completing it, though. I've been known to fling the controller across the room (albeit onto my bed thus preventing damage) many a time.

Also, don't get me started on the number of times I've hurled plastic guitars across the room... and I'm supposed to be relatively good at Guitar Hero and whatnot.

I broke a PS2 controller (screwed up the left analog stick) chucking it across the room playing GTA: San Andreas (that goddamn mansion level, where you have to chase a guy in a sports car using a clunker. Only time I've felt justified in cheating) and messed up the right analog stick on another controller fighting Night Terror on Soul Calibur III.
