One thing I don't get is why in the world would you pick zerg or tyrinid or even xenomorphs. I really dislike races that have no point other than go kill everything because you can heck the daleks and borg at least have a reason for doing it.

Pfft, Tyranids, are just a rip off of the zerg. It was my first thought when I saw them (mainly HUNDREDS of them). Zerg came first, zerg are cooler, zerg are evolved, some can fly , but most of all, ZERG ARE INFINITE. The only other candidates are Predators, Xenomorphs or Protoss.

So what's your favorite alien race in all of literature, games, movies, and TV shows?

Mine would definitely have to be the Drej from the movie Titan A.E. They're energy beings that can completely obliterate whole planets with a huge weapon mounted on their mothership. Top that!

Q Continuum. Topped. Immortal race of omnipotent beings. They also at the end of Star Trek: The Next Generation show how genius the show was, not just to entertain but to inspire our minds, to broaden our horizons, and hope to achieve what we believe impossible.
