If anyone wants to see the uncut video of it, he really did deserve the ban. Here's the link to the uncut video recorded by another user in the room when it all went down. Warning: NSFW. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU0qWhJd2Wc

4) You need trash talkers on online play. Jackasses and trash talkers are part of the package. They can make a match or a game really fun and funny. Imagine if everyone was civil online. We would have no teabaging, noobs, owning, or pwning. Most of out culter would not exist
I love that you say that like it would be a bad thing. I'd love it if everyone that used the word "noob" was banned from the internet. It'd make it such a nice place.

Remember, the internet, X Box Live, PSN, Steam, these are all priviledges, not rights. If you can't prove that you are capable of acting responsibly and by the rules the service providers set down, it should (and in a perfect world, it would without fail) be taken from you.

My experience and observations of mods in forums and the like has been that they tend to get on a bit of a power trip, even if it is only minor but usually they go way to OTT just to prove a point that they can do pretty much what ever they want. There position of authority and insider knowledge pretty much allows them to bend the TOS in their favor so they always win by default which is pretty much summed up by the guy saying he will "make it his mission" to "ban every console he's ever used" and he is more then prepared to do it.

Though i agree that the obvious editing of this video has done nothing more then serve to condemn the guy claiming to be the 'victim' of corruption by tampering with the only evidence himself which is just a little ironic and suggests he probably was in some kind of wrong and deserved reprimanding. But should one Mod be able to outright permanently ban on his own right there and then? i think that it should of been the policy for the Mod to record the game as soon as he realized it was going down that path or get another Mod involved so it becomes less of a personal act of some kind of vengeance and more about professionals unbiasedly removing a abusive player.

Still i don't plan on acting like an immature cretin and i'm not stupid enough to pick a fight with a Mod so none of this will effect me and therefore i will file this one under "meh"

Microsoft sucks, go Valve.

That's all I have to say about that.
Oh boy do we differ on opinion. I can'nae stand Valve.

I havent seen the video (Youtube Blocked at work), But from what i can see from community posts, it has been edited heavily. Anyone that cries abuse but doesnt show the full story should have his case thrown out.
Love Valve...'s games, the studio, eh... but totally in agreement about the edited video dismissing his claim.

If he's corrupt then I'm goddamn Satan.
No joke, eh?
The kid was a dick, and The Pro didn't stand for it anymore.
Maybe he should have held his tongue, but don't wag 'professionalism' in my face if someone is acting like a dick. The one kid was talking about raping The Pro's grandmother and killing his mother, and people complain about professionalism?
Screw that. Ban that kid.

Darn I was expecting to see some real abuse of power, not someone with a badge unafraid to throw it around in an incident that was never disclosed.

In fact I just see someone trying to publicly retaliate for something done in private with NO EVIDENCE. The kid thinks he nailed the mod just because he was unpleasant about enforcing the laws. I've got bad news kid, Cops are worse if you piss them off, and crying about in court will just get the judge to laugh at you.

If you look above a few posts, I posed the unedited version from someone else that was in the game with them. It shows him going off on the pro and brought in personal insults to The Pro. IMO, The Pro acted better than most people would if personal things were brought up.

Here is an important note I think everyone forgot. "THERE SHOULDN'T BE MODS ON ONLINE! EXPECILY CONSOLE GAME!"
Also MS is over zealous with there moderating. Try to make your clan tag "poop".

1 last note: PS3 has no censorship or Mods. Only MS who makes you pay money for full online play.
So people who hack and cheat in multiplayer games should not be banned? The PS3 doesn't ban people? What about that one player back in July who tried to sue Sony for being banned from the PlayStation Network?

Moderators are a good thing to have. They ban the trash talkers and anyone else that breaks the rules.

Well there are some things to take note of.

First off the guy who posted the video is a self-proclaimed glitcher/modder. Not even one of those guys who does it to pirate games, he is one of those jackasses who fancies himself a "hacker" because he looked up how to mod his 360 on youtube.com, he thinks it makes him tech savvy and he brags about it in all of his other youtube videos.

Secondly the video is heavily edited, any idiot can see that. The person deserved the ban to say the least.

On the other hand.

The way The Pro conducted himself was unprofessional to say the least. I don't care what the other players said to him, he was acting like a child. He said he'd call someone's mother, he was threatening to ban people left and right. I have seen websites and forums in which moderators are allowed to act petty and childish with no repercussions, and it's not fun.

The video was pretty one-sided and he was just doing his job, this guys other videos show that he's been hacking and cheating in Mw2. The Pros comments were pretty out of line though.

The vid was obviously edited so ItzLupo is more or less confirmed to be lying.

I can't condone The Pro's reaction to the provocation. Even if they were provoking him he should stay calm and professional like his name.

EDIT: Here's the vid where ItzLupo admits to cheating to 10th prestige.

This video is brilliant. He explains how Microsoft is practically omniscient on Xbox Live, but ends the video by saying "there will be more mods soon MS can never stop me :)". He says this after explaining how he will buy a new Xbox 360 and get a new Gold subscription. If his idea of fighting Microsoft is to buy more of their stuff, they probably don't want to stop him.

I think this is the actual video.... Unedited. Not positive, but they are talking about it on the youtube videos.

Oh... it's sorta explicit. Just letting you know.

Oops. Didn't know somebody posted this already.

Thanks for the link. I found The Pro's behavior rather refreshing. You continue to verbally harass, you get banned. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

We should all consider this: He could have just went ahead and banned him without the trouble of a warning.

Watching this vid, the kids already breaking the age restriction on the game, which is a huge problem in gaming. Id love it if ms banned every underage user on M rated games.

The kid got what he deserved. Breaking the ToS and generally being a prick. For once i support a ms mod :p

If this were the case, I'd know a lot of people that would get banned.

Even I would get banned. o_O

At least I don't curse and whine in chat, and talk about people's moms or grandmothers, or anything like that.

Honestly, it doesn't matter if he's been provoked by trash talking... his attitude would be completely unaccpetable in any other establishment (let alone his representing of MS). Why should anyone, least of all MS customers, have to put up with his threats, when they are the ones paying his salary?
