From what I can tell, he tryed to troll a mod and then got banned and had a ***** fit.

Piss off a mod on ANY site or server, and its bye bye, the guy just wants attention.

although I don't play MW2.

I only play my new Bass :)
If I see you post something about you playing your bass again I'll blow up Mars with the ink from a pen.
I gotta say, I agree. We're all very happy that you got a new bass and everything, and that you play bass, but come on man. I know you have an existance definable by more than a peice of wood with some strings.

And this is coming from a fellow bassist.

OT: Congrats to The Pro on this one. It's very hard to not let people get under your skin, but he did a better job than I probably would have. I'm sure the guy gets trolled in almost every game he plays in by someone. I hope he has another gamertag that he can use for when he isn't "on the clock" and just wants to have fun.

Here is an important note I think everyone forgot. "THERE SHOULDN'T BE MODS ON ONLINE! EXPECILY CONSOLE GAME!"
Also MS is over zealous with there moderating. Try to make your clan tag "poop".

1 last note: PS3 has no censorship or Mods. Only MS who makes you pay money for full online play.
SO PS3 is better because people get away with more shit?

Hey there should be no cops OR ANY authority in town, I mean sersly? Every time I try and steal shit their right there. GOD,

Sorry man, but people need to be kept in line for them to do the right thing. People in general, especially when anonymous, will misbehave. I applaud MS for having Mods on online.
1) The "cop" argument makes no sense. There is a huge difference between real life and online.

2) If someone is annoying, you can always mute them so you can't hear them. If someone keeps messaging you, block them. They shouldn't be banned for being annoying when that is a simple fix to it.

3) WELCOME TO THE FUCKING INTERNET! PEOPLE WILL BE A DOUCHEBAG ON IT! SOMETIMES, THOSE DOUCHEBAGS MAKE THE INTERNET FUN!

4) You need trash talkers on online play. Jackasses and trash talkers are part of the package. They can make a match or a game really fun and funny. Imagine if everyone was civil online. We would have no teabaging, noobs, owning, or pwning. Most of out culter would not exist.

So in short, people need to know how to mute and block people. Misbehavior and genral douchebaggedness is a very important part of gaming and internet. Online gaming is the combination of the two. And a perfect example of this is Zero Punctuation. The Xbox Live Nazis would have him banned for life in a few minutes.
Cop argument does indeed make sense, just because it's "online" doesn't make oit any less relevant
If I took the time to mute everyone who is indecent, I'd be missing a lot of game time. If ya can't be decent, I find why should someone else have to be decent to you? If a mod wants to ban someone for being an idiot, let them. I have zero sympathy.
So wait, because people will always be douchebags, we should just continue letting them? Once again bring this to real life.
Your arguements have little to no value. Your claiming of "getting used to it" doesn't work in life. How about I steal your stuff everyday. Because it happens everyday you should just sit back and let it happen. Or lesser, how about I come over everyday and play some Jonas Brothers everyday? Lets see how "used to it" you get.

lonercs: in a message to me (because he was suspended, ironic huh?)
"Your a dumb ass! You just said in your argument what if you stole my stuff. This is the exact problem I have with the banning. It is as if MS is stealing peoples money and Xbox.

Two there is a difference online then in real life. One being a mute option, so I could ignore your Johns Brothers online. There is also a block option. The only thing I do agree with is the modding and cheating. However, a permanent ban is overkill. It simply is not fair.

However, my argument and your is meaningless. It's meaningless for you need to be able to look at it at the perspective of someone getting a perm ban (which you can not). It's meaningless for me for I no longer care. I have PS3 and don't have to put up with this type of banning shit.

I do hope you get a ban one day. Then you may be able to see it the other way around. Or you can play on the PS3, realize that it is not so bad with out mods. Then realize a perm ban is wrong.

PS. As I stated I don't care any more. Therefor, agree with me or not don't respond back"

I felt that since he sent me this he obviously would have out it up himself.

The kid's a douche, I would have perma-banned his squeeky, foul-mouthed ass too.

Go ThePro, may your banhammer wave and smash the hell out of little shits like that.

Is it any wonder why I avoid XBL like the fucking plague?

He was being unprofessional? He was out of line? What?

"RAWR RAWR TURNED MAH MOD ON BLAH BLAH GRANDMA JOKE BECAUSE THEY'RE EVEN MORE CLEVER THAN MOMMA JOKES"

While in a game with an XBL mod? No. I'm sorry, but he deserved worse than the ban he got, and now the loudmouthed little bastard is spreading a highly edited video all over the internet to try and smear a company he tried to take advantage of. No, he can go to hell. If this is how he acts before his balls drop, I'd rather see him learn consequences now than when he pulls some white collar crime out of his ass. Assuming he'll ever be smart enough for it.

Any idiot can see that the video was editted to cut out the original poster trash-talking like an immature prick.
Ding! We have a winner.

Sure, he may have been a bit unprofessional, but he was just doing his job. I've seen much worse out there on the wonderful tubes.

Who names themselves "The Pro", kinda up himself if you ask me. But as to what he did, while he was rude I think he was doing his job overall.

And your avatar does not suggest you are biased at all.

OT: And? The kid probably did something out of line but is removed in the video.
...You had to look at my avatar to see that I am biased towards Valve? Really? The comment did nothin' for ya?

IDK, I could barely hear the audio in the video and I don't play on Xbox Live. Seems to me he was doing his job though.

Wait, so who was the one banned? Was it itzlupo or that mmmmmhmmmm high-pitched little punk? That kid was totally out of line and I'm surprised The Pro lasted that long.

I also said it sounds a bit up himself, but naming yourself like that is rather unprofessional in my opinion. But I know what you mean.

He definitely said a few comments that, to me, would be far across the line regardless of whether everyone in the server was threatening to eat his family or something. Still, no point in taking action unless someone can produce something unedited.

Even in TF2 servers I see way too many server moderators that are unwilling to try to get people to calm the heck down before going through with a ban. It's worst when someone doesn't even know what line they're crossing until they're banned.
Of course, hacks being an entirely separate category, I support any bans in that regard. Zero-Tolerance makes sense there.

Maybe it is a bit unprofessional, but considering his job, it's a very literal name which could also be intended to be highly visible and leave no doubt as the fact that he's a professional member of the X-Box Live Policy Enforcement Team, and hopefully that name alone would act as bit of a deterrent...

Perhaps it's a bit like how cops drive cars with "Police" written on the sides.

Oh boy do we differ on opinion. I can'nae stand Valve.

I havent seen the video (Youtube Blocked at work), But from what i can see from community posts, it has been edited heavily. Anyone that cries abuse but doesnt show the full story should have his case thrown out.
wow, work really? doubt it, thats all i'm saying about that topic

You obviously don't know who valve is, you provided no reasons why you hate them, but I guess you just look it up on Google now...

anything you say in response now is probably just goggle look up, you knock things off with out even trying them..

Any way, it was edited, the guys was a little out of line but I'm sure if we saw the entire thing unedited, we would have thought differently.

After watching the unedited clip, frankly, if I were in 'The Pros' position that kid would have much worse coming his way. Cheating foul mouthed little squeaker shouldn't even be playing the game in the first place, nevermind blatantly cheating then bragging about it in the most profane manner possible to an Admin no less.

Getting the contact information and calling his parents to explain how the kid just lost the privilege to go onto Xbox Live, now *there's* a conversation I'd want to hear!

I want to see the whole video. Without an unedited video no one can truly render judgment. By the way, why didn't Microsoft's response give us an unedited video? Perhaps The Pro really was bad and they can't defend him past saying how edited the complainer's video is. Bah, I'm suspicious of all of them.
