The Pro may have done some blatantly abusive things before, but in this incident he's completely legit.
And no sane person would take personal umbrage for his lack of political correctness in dealing with the issue. Perhaps give him a bureaucratic slap on the wrist for being "unprofessional," but anybody who's had to deal with idiotic and abusive customers in any service would rather just buy him a beer.
