The economy, at least in America, has not seen the next shoe drop. We still have to deal with the Commercial Realestate bubble, not to mention the fact that unemployment numbers are higher than anyone in Washington would have even considered would happen. They said we'd hit 8% unemployment if we didn't pass the stimulus. We passed it, and now the numbers are around 9%. We still have a lot to go through.oliveira8 said:The economy right now is not bad. Did you read the story of the great depression? This is nowhere close.Lazier Than Thou said:You think the US citizens would wait for the army? Really? We got a bunch of guns, we got a bunch of bullets and, now, we have a bunch of targets. What more needs to be said?oliveira8 said:First: USA would be without a army or be able to pull a military response in some time. Second all the world economy would go down. Third and best part...No more Michael Bay movies.Lazier Than Thou said:I don't understand why that would be a bad thing.oliveira8 said:Not if they nuke: DC, New York and LA you won't.xmetatr0nx said:Well yea, but we shoot back.oliveira8 said:Just nuke them. Easy and cheap.
No Pentagon/Mr. President, no Wall Street and no Holywood!
The economy wouldn't be too big of a hurdle to get over for us. I mean, long term it would suck, but with the monetary policy of the current and former administration have more or less destroyed the economy anyway. A nuke would just be a fitting end.
Also think clearly. No Michael Bay. WHos going to make a movie about it years later? NO ONE!! Can you live with that? I don't think so.
I'm not sure the people fighting the war will really care if anyone will be around to film the victory or not.
