I'm getting a craving for a good PC RPG sou could you fellow games please suggest any good pc rpg.
I have played Dragon Age Origins, TES IV Oblivion, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, The Witcher, Diablo 2.
Divinity 2 is on the steam sales today and I'm thinking of getting it from what some other people are saying about it. Alpha Protocol is also worth playing if you are not paying full price. Although, the RPG system isn't all that great, it's a good enough action adventure and reacts to what you do.
Mount and Blade. It has no overarching story but no other game has made me feel like it wasn't necessary. Its like you're building your own legacy really well done game, I recommend it
Dammit, I was gonna say The Witcher! Make sure you get the enhanced edition though, it was on sale on steam really cheap recently, it might still be. I'd also get Baldur's gate 1 + 2 and Fallout 1 + 2 off GoG if I were you.
Wait ... do action rpgs count (since Diablo 2 is listed) .. there are a fair few games of that sort that are shallow-ish on the story but still good.
Borderlands is pretty much a diablo clone as an FPS.
Torchlight is .. well .. cheap. Good for what it does, though.
Titan Quest is neat, but having only 2 character models to pick from (male or female) sorta cramps my style.
Can't speak for BG2, but PS:T? Fantastic game with the best story you will ever find.
Then there's Arcanum. Buggy, yes, but there are patches. Again, excellent plot and customisation, plus you can shoot orcs with a lightning gun while wearing a magnetic bullet-deflecting top hat and steam-powered platemail. You just can't go wrong with a game like that.
Since you liked Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas you should give Morrowind, Fallout and Fallout 2 a try. They're great games, a bit old, but still great games. Certainly worth a try, at the very least.
If you're counting the mass effects as rpgs then surely you can equally label both Deus Ex games as rpgs. Catch up on the plot before human revolutions comes around - even though its a prequel.
As flawed as they were, KOTOR 1 and 2.
If those Team Gizka jokers ever finish the "repair work" for KOTOR2, I'd definitely replay through it for old time's sake.
