Cross platform play.

You know you all want it too.
I personally don't mind the game being multiplatform despite the common opinion that Valve has somehow betrayed the CS community for choosing to branch out.
They've spent around $40000 flying in world class CSS players to their HQ in Bellevue to advise on changes needed to make the game as close to the ideal competitive model as possible. So at least we know Valve cares about trying to make an authentic sequel to CS1.6. (CSS doesn't count. It was more a tech demo of the Source engine rather than a true successor to 1.6. CZ was pretty much a reskin of the original.)

Don't make the guns feel and look like wobbly toys. More crosshair choices. If you have to have iron sights, don't shove my nose through the fucking receiver, please.

the reliance on skill rather than cheap weapons or luck succeed.
I'm probably going to get flamed but the awp tells a different story as it's a hitscan 1 hit kill weapon.
It is pretty OP in certain situations. On pub servers with higher playercounts every chokepoint is watched by at least two of the damned things.
But the maps weren't made with that many players in mind so we'll judge it based on its effect on scrims.

Counter Strike's maps were tailored to 5v5 or 6v6 games. AWPs only start appearing later on in matches and not everyone will buy them. Some prefer the M4 or AK as it's more versatile. Although the AWP is a friggin' cannon, it falls short on some areas:
-Horrible movement speed. Everyone runs with the DEagle out when using the AWP as primary - this means you'll have to position yourself better around maps as you have less time to switch weapons and pull off a killshot if you run with the DEag into an automatic weapon at medium distance than say, if you were using the Scout or an another autorifle (both grant you far less movement penalties than the AWP)
-It costs a fortune. You'd better be one of the better shots on you team, else if you die and lose it, someone's going to rage.

What if it's AWP vs AWP? Then it all comes to being prepared for the other sniper or being able to get the drop on him. Perhaps the AWP should have fewer OHK zones, but for its hefty price and movement disadvantages along with the fact that it usually only appears four rounds in at the earliest, it balances out.

I didn't say it was a bad thing.

The PS3 supports KB+M so Valve should implement it and using steamworks (like Portal 2) have PC vs PS3 matches.
I never disagreed with you either. :)
In fact, it's always good to see more people try CS. It's not everyone's cup of tea though - after all, it wasn't designed with every type of audience in mind.
That said, here's hoping Steamworks for PS3 will allow them to get their hands on custom content. How that's going to work is a bit beyond me. Maybe direct download from servers containing custom content as one way and downloading user-submitted content from the Steamworks database as another option.

I'm pretty sure they confirmed no iron sights.
I just want them to make crosshair customisation more straightforward by implementing colour (RGB), thickness and size sliders into the in-game menu, rather than have me trawl through the console.
