Well that will be interesting. Should be fun to see how it turns out
Now if only they brought back Ed Edd n' Eddy
Not to mention all the rest of their cartoon cartoons. I want Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, the whole works to come back.

One of my favorite shows from my childhood re-done? I have some mixed feelings. I think it would only be watchable if it had the main villans appear from time to time.

Other than that, cool. Wouldn't mind to see it sometime.

Now if only we could get Ed, Edd n' Eddy on that remake list...
Ed, Edd, n' Eddy ended with that movie where they look for Eddy's brother. I think it was a great way to end myself since they finally got respect from the rest of the kids.
oh yea...man i loved that movie,

Ed, Edd, n' Eddy was my Childhood

I'm excited but I get the feeling that the show would be considerably toned down...well then again Adventure Time and Before that Flapjack tend to have some nightmarish moments so maybe the feel will be the same just don't take it to the extent of this again

Sorry to dash your hopes but the video is fake. It's been up on YouTube for four months, there's nothing anywhere about Cartoon Network having plans to bring the series back. (because if they were we'd have heard about it long before this trailer) Not to mention the video was not released by Cartoon Network, it's just from some random YouTube user.(add in the fact the user's channel is pretty much nothing but fan made trailers)

Before yesterday when it showed up on Equestria Daily the video had less than 7k views.

It's a really well done fan trailer, but it's still fake.
...
No but seriously, I knew right from the beginning it was probably fake but I just had to go and get my hopes up anyway. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though, better finding out now rather than later.

No. Courage had its run, and it had a great ending. The "perfect" episode and the one that revealed how Courage came to be in Eustace and Murial's care... it was a great way to end. Perfectly fit the series I believe. Plus, Eustace's voice actor passed away a while ago I believe.

No, Courage was a great show, but it had its run. I'd say its over and if it was brought back with new episodes... it just wouldn't be the same.

They've also shown re-runs of this show before, not sure why'd they make noise about re-runs unless they're doing what Nickelodeon did with their 90's shows. I hope it's the latter, at least. New episodes sound nice, but be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And chances are it won't be as good as you think.
At first I thought "HOLY SHIT!, this is awesome!", but after reading this post I thought "well... I can still enjoy it's re-runs in Tooncast".

I just hope it doesn't turn like a "Family Guy syndrome".

On a second note, I'd love to see Megas XLR get revived somehow. Now that one truly deserves to get revived.

I know how it feels dude, when I first saw it I got all excited and posted a link to it on facebook. Then I felt stupid when it was pointed out in the comments all the evidence I just gave you.

It was so well done that I wanted to believe despite that niggling voice in the back of my head that said otherwise.

This is the greatest news I've heard all night. That show was so amazing. It was freaking...

OH MY GOD.

That shit was terrifying! Just scrolling this page brings back those nightmares. The Kat, Fred, those...faces...*shivers violently*

So...anyone else down to do some marathoning? Even if this is a fake, the idea is awesome. They brought back MLP, so why not bring back it's converse? Something that terrifies you to your very soul, rather than makes you happy and cheerful?

I love Courage and I hope they don't bring it back, because with how Cartoon Network dropped so sharply in quality so quickly I couldn't stand to see a fun show butchered like the last season(s) of Dexter with a different artist and writer.

Then again, maybe Cartoon Network realized this and they're trying to come back to when they were really good and people would want to tune in.

On one hand I can see this going down well and on the other a complete disaster. Regular Show has proven that dark humor can be a viable option for a kids show (or that censors these days are INCREDIBLY lazy), but the new creators may entirely miss the point of what the original Courage The Cowardly Dog was about. Either way, I'm still refusing to watch cartoons on actual televisions again until Disney reruns Digimon Tamers. Damn good show, Digimon Tamers was...
Disney XD, which is the more male-oriented answer to the normal Disney Channel, still runs Digimon regularly, I believe.

OT: I really hope this is actually happening. The only thing better than this would be if KaBlam! came back.

Courage coming back? That fills me with much glee!
I have a little bit of history with that little pup, you see.
It won't be long 'til I am free, and that makes me feel so... Naughty.

:p Personally that was ALWAYS my favorite epsidoe.

Everyone makes a big deal over The Man in Gauze....but when that chorus of children starts in with the maddening "Laaaa la laaaa" etc in the Freaky Fred episode...it gives me the creeps to this day! And as the pic you posted points out, there's always that deliciously naaaaaaaaaughty grin of his.

On another note, I want them to bring back Ed, Edd, and Eddy...pound for pound I'd have to say that was my favorite Cartoon-Cartoon of them all.

Courage was a close second, followed by Dexter.

OT: AWESOME! Scared the crap out of me as a kid, I'd love to see it continue!
As per my above statement, I must now curse you and demand that you buy me a new pair of boxers.

Fuck you, Courage is a classic.
So are many of the shows I grew up on, but they will never get another go. ReBoot didn't even get completed, and it's one of the most important television shows in history.

Now a Cartoon Network original that really needs to return is Samurai Jack, they didn't complete that either and it was a great show.
Fuc- Oh, wait, yes, I concur.

Oh, and I didn't mean to come off before as attacking you with baseless aggression. I've been hanging around with old friends recently and we play it fast and loose in regards to how politely we speak to each other, it just sort of seeped into my speech here.

Courage had a great run and remains memorable because the show died a good death. You can't remember what is dead if it never dies, like the Simpsons. That thing is fast approaching the point where it stops being a zombie and starts becoming an Eldritch Abomination.
