Man... when I see this kind of stuff I wonder if the people they are quoting actually have a brain.

This is the funniest thing I have seen all week.
People get scared over the stupidest shit.
I can see the headlines now, the wood elf wizards started a riot with the halfling wizards resulting in the immolation of four. XD

A prison version of this would be the most amazing thing EVER.

It's a sad, sad day when I'm more worried about the people running the legal system than the people incarcerated by said system.

Good thing there stopping prisoners from playing a harmless RPG.
Now they can get back to stabbing, fighting, and shooting heroine.

Monarchy
U.S. Military
Totalitarianism
Religion (only the ones with leaders)
a restaurant
etc
Anyway, that is not how D&D works. The DM just enforces the rules and provides the world. The players decide what happens, not the DM.

This must make Keith Baker [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/tag/Have%20Dice%20will%20Travel?from_search=1] the world's most devious gangster. Suddenly my world has become a step closer to the world of James Bond, and its AWESOME!

DM giving orders mimics gang leaders giving orders?

Rather like ANY OTHER LEADERSHIP IN EXISTENCE?

Still, if they took it too seriously, it could be pretty funny...

Thug 1 (Rogue): Alright boss, we're all in place. Got enough basic weapons stolen from shop and kitchen for when we bust out and the "help" arrives.
Thug 2 (Wizard): We're ready. Time to go everyone!
DM (Across the hall): Alright boys, here goes! "Suddenly, the halls of the prison shook, as an army of hobgoblins broke through! The guards, disorganized by the shocking assault, notice nothing as the bars shook themselves open from the explosion!
Thug 3 (Figher): Wait, what explosion?
DM: BEHOLD!

AND NOTHING HAPPENED.

Seems par for the course to me.
OT: I was, once again, surprised upon reading this article. Surprised that people this dumb are actually capable of walking and breathing at the same time. Honestly, the stupidity is unbelievable

Yeah.... I'm not surprised But then again, you could say the sports in prison do this;. They're in an enclosed environment, eat or be eaten. SO anyhting group like will bind you together.

This just ridiculous. So, what now, are they going to ban all group activities? We're about to have a lot more psychotics imprisoned if they're only interacting with their guards.

Like...are you freakin serious? I think I'm more likely to get the shit beat outta me than join a gang because I have a lvl 2 rogue.

So basically it promotes gangs...by promoting team work.
