Personally, I've been having a lot of fun with the regular pistol in Half Life 2. It's not really one of those guns that so bad you could call it a joke weapon, but it's outclassed in every way by every other gun that you find, so once you get to the point at which ammo for your primary weapons is no longer a concern, you just don't need it anymore. I've been pulling this gun out of the bag mostly because I just remodeled it to make it look and sound like a real gun rather than a pop gun. If I really wanted to, I could edit the scripts to make it better, but I just can't be bothered.
Ah! A kindred spirit, even in Deathmatch games, I constantly find myself pulling the old 9mm out. Sure it may be outclassed by every single other weapon, but it has good accuracy, a hefty magazine size and plenty of ammo to go. I hate its default skin and model though so I downloaded an modified this skin [http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/41477] as a replacement.

I constantly put a common knife into my inventory in a RPG and stock up and crappy guns to desecrate corpses with.

Awesome! That's the same skin that I use! I used to use the black slide, but I got bored and switched to the silver slide.

I've reskinned basically all of the weapons in Half Life 2.

The .357 is a Desert Eagle, but the animations suck so I'll probably go back to what I was using before, the Raging Bull.

The SMG is an H&K MP7 with an M203.

The AR2 is an FN SCAR also with an M203.

The Shotgun is still the same old, but with a higher quality skin and the folded stock included.

Everything else is the same, but with higher quality skins.

Hunting rifle in Fallout is mah old standby since I want to keep the Repeater reserved for really bad situations. At 100% repair with 100 in small guns plus the commando perk it still gets the job done nice and easy. But over all it seems more realistic then most of the guns, ie It can generally take down humans with a single head shot but takes a few to the torso to put them down.

The Chinese handgun is just plain rediculously weak. I mean, what type of gun takes 8 head shots to kill a human? Not to mention 8 head shots from a foot away while the gun is in perfect condition. Does it just fire marshmellows?

The silenced 10mm pistol is also fun if you can do some sneaky sneakings. Still wish it was more realistic too though. Only 4 headshots to kill at least.

The Frozen Tuna great sword in Monster Hunter. The weapon isn't "terrible" per se but by the time you can easily craft the sword it is terrible. Going on Rathalos farming runs online with friends and smacking it with a giant fish was quite fun.

I also like destroying helicopters in Prototype by throwing people at it.

When it comes to weapons, I pick more for style and feel then actual usefulness. I figured that way I can compensate with sheer skill and really show off... To nerds?

Usually when I play any Jak and Daxter game over I use fists all the time I can. I also try to use weapons that you start with at the begining of a game and try to make use of it during the final boss as often as I can.

I use the silver one myself, because it's the most faithful to the original and easily the purdiest.

I edited the side of the slide to read 9mm x 19 instead of .45 ACP.

I use the Hunting Rifle from Left 4 Dead while in the saferoom. I like to play thug characters in role playing games so I keep the weakest weapons found early on the games to pick fights. That includes the standard generic knife that most people sell to a vendor, the .32 or 9mm pistol. I also like to wear the good ol' worn and damaged leather boots.

I try to make an effort not to be caught dead playing a MMORPG. However, when that occurs I'm never caught dead as some vain guy wearing their Level 80 Rune Armor or whatever. I'm the guy dressed as a Catholic Priest calling everyone's magic casting evil, the guy in haggard clothes begging for change or the crazy who mugs people I have no chance of beating in PvP areas.

The pistol in Mass Effect (for the achievement) and the Chinese Officer Sword in Fallout 3.
The pistol in Mass Effect was actually really good. A fully leveled up pistol combined with the ability for it, Marksmen or whatever it was, actually did more damage then the assault rifle with it's special ability activated.

Anyways I always loved using the smgs in halo 2 for some reason..meh lol.

I'd go for the rare sawn-off shotgun in Fallout 3, just because you need to get extra close with a sneak attack to get the best out of it, and it's pretty useless otherwise.
Failing that, the trench knife. With intentionally low strength and melee skill.

I like using Plunkett's Valid Points, in Fallout 3, purely because the name makes me laugh.

Either that or the power fist.

The Wrench in the Ratchet and Clank games. Sometimes it's just more fun to hit someone in the head 10 times with a giant wrench.

Fallout 3 is a really good game for using useless weapons on strong enemys because there's alot of crappy weapons in the game (not that the game is crappy and there are some really good weapons, but there are a ton of crappy ones in the game to). I love trying to take down a Giant Rad Scorpian with the BB gun (yeah i kept it through the whole game I don't know why) or trying to kill a Enclave soldier with my bare hands.
Also using the pistol for S.W.A.T. soldiers in GTAIV it's not impossible but with theyre armor and automatic guns, it's an easy way to get to pwnageville.

Oh, I'm also constantly using melee weapons in Deathmatch, even when they suck badly just to give that extra sting of humiliation to my opponent.

Because I'm an evil and sick bastard who is lonely and knows not love.

If only they'd made the .44 Magnum a top-break. I'd use it exclusively if they did.
I guess you didn't get the Blackhawk [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Blackhawk] then? (if you did, then you're very picky when it comes to weapons)

At more than one occasion, I've used fists or melee weapons on the head of a dead enemy, just because it's hilarious to see the head of a Deathclaw or a Super Mutant Behemoth bounce around as if they were bobbleheads.
