I don't drink milk so I don't care what it comes in... Though I do personally think the jug would be easier. You just pop the top off and on again. A bag of milk seems less convenient.

Not sure what poutine is and am actually rather freaked out at what ketchup chips could possibly be.

Okay, for clarification, are we talking about tomato sauce flavoured chips (french fries) or tomato flavoured chips (crisps). Yes, we use the same word for both, aren't we silly?
Actually, all this talk has put me in the mood for some wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Damn late cravings!

Hi Germany here. We got milkbags (and boxes and bottles, where it really belongs in you barbarians) and ketchupchips (but i prefer salt&vinegar)too.
Plus AE spelling makes me sick.

Milk in a bag? That just sounds like a spill waiting to happen...
indeed it is. thats why you usually put it in that plastic pitcher before you cut it open. Strange idea it is, i don't get what the problem with bottles is.(except for the breaking factor of course, but at least it wont taste like plastic)

So I just found out that Canada is the only place with bags of milk and poutine and ketchup chips. I gotta ask how do you guys live without having tried poutine or drinking your milk the correct way or not eating ketchup chips? It sure is a crazy world outside Canada, a crazy world where colour is spelled color and food is not how it should be I feel scared :(
Hungary also has bags of milk in some places, though cartons can be found much more often, and I think Ketchup Cheetos can still be found here and there, if that counts.

Also, tomato sauce does not in any way shape or form equal ketchup.
Here in Australia, what you call ketchup, we call tomato sauce.
You make pastas such as spaghetti, rigatoni, and other Italian dishes using (the condiment) ketchup?

Disgusting, scandalous, and worth the ire of Italian, New York, and Chicago mafias!
no. but we dont call what is used to make those things tomato sauce either. they are called tomato paste, along with your crushed tomatoes and whatnot. tomato sauce in Australia=ketchup. sewiously

I got weirded out in Canada when I went to a supermarket and the Maple Syrup was more expensive than in the UK.

Also, DRIVE ON THE CORRECT SIDE OF THE ROAD!

Also nobody else is as good as us at being terrible at sports we invented.

Wow, I haven't had bagged milk since 4th grade. We have them here in america. I used to stuff my thumbs into them to stretch the plastic to give them "titties" because everyone at that age thought it was funny and clever. Then we all grew up and just like Santa and the tooth fairy, never saw bagged milk again.

Bags of milk? wow, that's not very practical. What do you do if you don't drink the whole bag up?

I have seen such bags of milk before, though much, much bigger, in the US. I used to work at the cafeteria in my dorm, and we put them into the machines so people could go get milk.

Useful, indeed...though Goddess help you if one of them exploded on you...

Bags of milk? Bags? That sounds annoying.
Never heard of poultice.
Here in Britain we don't have ketchup chips, but we do cover chips in ketchup, which I guess is sorta similar.
And we spell colour with a "u" here as well.

Ketchup crisps, be fair. What about Tom Toms? Also, Ketchup flavoured Cheetos, which also exist in Russia.

Also: Given the spelling, I'm sure you've heard of poultices, but poutine is a slight variation of gravy on cheesy chips.
