For the last few years I've had an urge to abandon society and go and move out to someplace really remote. I mostly got this feeling watching that Planet Earth tv series. I also have a strange fascination with wide open spaces, for reasons that I'm not quite sure of. The cinematography in No Country for Old Men really affected me.

What have I actually done though? Not much. Most of the things I do are somewhat crazy, and illegal for the most part. I'm planning on finishing my schooling before I go and move to northern Canada to hunt polar bears.

For me, a 'crazy upgrade' would be to just go up to a lass I liked and just talk to her without my damned awkward shyness coming out...

I would have to agree with you there...shyness is always getting in the way and always ends up messing things up for me.

This year I have found myself wanting to do all the stupid things I would have never dreamed of doing before, (because of that shyness), like forcing myself to talk to someone I find it awkward to talk to. Also doing things like setting off fireworks upside down in a snowbank at 3 in the morning, blowing up a microwave with a firework, flashing my friends neighbours on a dare, etc.
