"They say we only use 10% of our minds. This is not true. The 10% is simply what we are consciously aware of, everything else is devoted to your subconscious. You can catch a glimpse of the other 90% in your dreams. It's the part that governs your personality, your preferences, and when there's a fight, it decides which side you stand on. In short, everything that makes you you, goes on beneath the surface. You might catch a glimpse of it in your dreams, but if you can learn to truly know yourself, and to harness all those swirling thoughts beneath the surface and focus them, you can make those dreams into reality."
Actually, no, the other 90% is usually used to keep your heart beating, we just use 10% of our minds to think. Nice though. Wrong, but nice.

Once you have conquered the universe, the world doesn't seems like the oyster it once was.

"I won't judge you my friends or pretend like I understand this crazy world anymore than you do.I only ask that you accompany me along life's twists and turns and see if we can't have a blast anyway"
- Me (Johanthemonster666)

I said this on a forum and my friends thought it was epic for some paticular reason.

Source? Or sarcasm?

Involuntary processes = 90%? 'Prolly.
Heart = 90%? Nah. Surely not. ;)

And STILL, most of these posts make me cringe. Exaggerations of original quotes, regurgitation of existing quotes... or bad quotes. There have been some good ones, but this thread is just reminding me of when I used to make a fool of myself when I was about 14 and thought I knew everything.

Oh yeah, another one of my favorite personal quotes: "living is the cause for all your problems. We have a cure for that :)."

(yes you have to include the smily for full effectiveness.)

Here is what I say around my son who now starting to talk so I have to reign in my language a bit. Instead of FUCK!!!! when something stupid happens, I try to say "By all that is dark and unholy!!" Really can't wait to see if he picks this up and says it at school when he's older. I will fall over laughing at the teachers when they inevitably complain.

"We hold the seven deadly sins in our souls, so do not deny it. In fact, embrace it."

"Anybody who claims to have lost faith in humanity believes themselves to be more than human."

But my favorite non-me quote:
"What is done in the dark will be brought to the light."
You can run on for a long time...

Now for mine:
We all have a vault of knowledge...
It's how deep we go in that seperates us.
