Here's a little game, perhaps you'd like to play?

The rules.

You must write a sentence which continues the story from the previous poster.

Example.

Poster A: Once upon a time there was a dog.
Poster B: Who spontaniously combusted and exploded into a million pieces.

We're in the middle of nowhere, everything is so dark.

The mag flashlight loses its battery and we are back in darkness

You encounter a grue.

You read a book in the dark about what a grue is

G is for Grue, likely to eat you.

You call out into the darkness:

Then run away.

as you run you encunter another grue.

i pull out a dagger and stab at it.

the grue's friend come out noticing their dead friend and give you the sad eyes
