If there is one thing all horror movies have taught me is that the genre is, at its heart cheesy. From the goofy acting, the obligatory sex scenes and the intense violence so many horror movies are practically self parodies. I have been doing a little research and I realised that the 1980's were best era for horror movies, specifically horror movies with themes relating to holidays (Halloween, Friday the Thirteenth, Silent Night Deadly Night, My bloody Valentine etc) and so often I find that the title alone is just stupid when I read them. I still laugh at Silent Night Deadly Night to tell you the truth. It doesn't even have to be exclusivley holiday themes, like I remember a horror movie called 'Lake Death' and I guess it had relevance because there WAS a lake and there WAS death present... I just would have hoped for something a little more creative. I remember a movie called 'the boogens' and 'Leprachaun in the hood' and of course that movie 'Loch Ness Terror' is still stupid even to this day.
So I have decided to, for the sake of laughs essentially, put up this thread to ask the Escapists to submit the silliest, most random, stupid and cheesiest horror movie titles and sub captions to go beneath the titles (provided these are made up movies and not real existing ones) and just see how it goes. I'll give an example of what I mean using a candidate that I was surprised was never used back when holiday themed titles were popular:
Passover.... your brains!!!
They eat your body... but first it must be kosher!!
The story of a family of cannibalistic Jews.
So that's my example, what's yours?
