Every time I eat Indian food my throat swells up and I cant breathe, I think it is a curse b/c I was mean to an old teacher who was Indian.

It is a very strange experience, and I despise it.

But I couldn't control the dream. I moved my physical body and my eyes sometimes open and it is still going on.TheEndIsNear5115 said:Jester Lord said:There have been times where I started to dream while still conscious. It's a stage of lucid dreaming, i.e. where you can consciously control the actions of your dream. They're fun when your dream-self realizes what's going on, because you can essentially do...anything. Skydiving while shooting terrorists?

You had a classic case of sleep paralysis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis.AkJay said:Title really suggests it all.
My story, I was sleeping in bed, it was around 2AM, i could tell because there was a clock next to me, but i couldn't move, i was absolutely paralyzed. Everything seemed to have the volume turned up, every creak in the floor seemed to sound like a wrecking ball, and i remember my door opening and a shadowy figure looking at me. I just closed my eyes, and opened them again, and it was still there, i like to think i passed or maybe just fell back asleep, when i woke up my head was killing me. i still cannot explain what happened to this day.

I know, if I could get my hands around those fuckers, THEY WOULD PAY.AkJay said:That's not funny! that's not a prank! that sounds like fucking sexual assault, the sick pricks!Suiseiseki IRL said:During my school district's "Prank Week" several students from South High were in the habit of nabbing North High students (my school) off the street, taping them up, and dropping them off in front of North High.
Well one afternoon a van pulls up to the curb. Two people jump out, grab me, pull me into the van, close the door, and drive off. They then wrapped my feet and arms in duct tape and covered my mouth. They then decided to pass me around like a joint, taking turns groping me and laughing while doing it. Five to ten minutes later the door slides open and out I'm tossed in front of the school.
Because...it's scary?Bored Tomatoe said:Now why the fuck would you link that...ElephantGuts said:Pff you think this is scary? And that sounds just like sleep paralysis [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis] to me. Don't worry, it happens.AkJay said:Title really suggests it all.

Yeah, as I said before, I've been tortured by that thread many a night. But the good kind of torture. Adrenaline from being scared shitless is fun.Bored Tomatoe said:Exactly... 1 AM plus scary equals no sleepy...ElephantGuts said:Because...it's scary?Bored Tomatoe said:Now why the fuck would you link that...ElephantGuts said:Pff you think this is scary? I think that's happened to me before. I've attributed it to the brain still dreaming, but your dream is so similar to reality that you can't tell it's a dream.Jester Lord said:But I couldn't control the dream. That paragraph simultaeously scares me and makes me think of those "When you see it you'll shit bricks" pictures that float around the interwebs.HovX51 said:i could see this missing patch of wall right outside my door and whenever i was in bed with that lamp on i could see a black male man in that hole from the waist up just staring at me...not angry or anything just staring...no one else could see it and it was more than just one night it was there for a long long time...
