Every time I eat Indian food my throat swells up and I cant breathe, I think it is a curse b/c I was mean to an old teacher who was Indian.

There have been times where I started to dream while still conscious. I would be laying in bed when I started to clearly see a dream. I would still be able to think and I could still move my body (though only very slowly and it took a lot of effort)

It is a very strange experience, and I despise it.

It's a stage of lucid dreaming, i.e. where you can consciously control the actions of your dream. They're fun when your dream-self realizes what's going on, because you can essentially do...anything. Skydiving while shooting terrorists?

But I couldn't control the dream. I moved my physical body and my eyes sometimes open and it is still going on.

Title really suggests it all.

My story, I was sleeping in bed, it was around 2AM, i could tell because there was a clock next to me, but i couldn't move, i was absolutely paralyzed. Everything seemed to have the volume turned up, every creak in the floor seemed to sound like a wrecking ball, and i remember my door opening and a shadowy figure looking at me. I just closed my eyes, and opened them again, and it was still there, i like to think i passed or maybe just fell back asleep, when i woke up my head was killing me. i still cannot explain what happened to this day.
You had a classic case of sleep paralysis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis.
EDIT: Ninja'd...

It was Halloween night (not an attempt to be cliche). I saw a small Imp-like shadow walk through my door. It stood next to my bed for about 10 seconds and just disappeared. I felt like I passed out and I woke up not able to breath for 10 minutes after that.

During my school district's "Prank Week" several students from South High were in the habit of nabbing North High students (my school) off the street, taping them up, and dropping them off in front of North High.

Well one afternoon a van pulls up to the curb. Two people jump out, grab me, pull me into the van, close the door, and drive off. They then wrapped my feet and arms in duct tape and covered my mouth. They then decided to pass me around like a joint, taking turns groping me and laughing while doing it. Five to ten minutes later the door slides open and out I'm tossed in front of the school.
That's not funny! that's not a prank! that sounds like fucking sexual assault, the sick pricks!
I know, if I could get my hands around those fuckers, THEY WOULD PAY.
seriously.
hm..... I can't think of any.... tonight I heard a bang, like a gunshot (my place is a good neighborhood, so I was scared)
I don't usually have night terrors, but I have this weird story:
I was reading a book in the car as the driver went into the gas station. some guy pulls up beside me and says "HEY BOY! WATCHA READIN!?!?" I jumped and thought this guy was gonna give me some problems. Then I go "Oh just a comic" and hold it up. Im still fucking scared he's gonna jack the car or rob me, but he just goes "COOL!!!!!" and walks into the store. And i'm sitting there thinking "THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!?!?!?"

Yeah, as I said before, I've been tortured by that thread many a night. But the good kind of torture. Adrenaline from being scared shitless is fun.

I think that's happened to me before. I've attributed it to the brain still dreaming, but your dream is so similar to reality that you can't tell it's a dream.

I once opened a can of soup I bought, and it was empty. I just sat down and stared at that god damn can for thirty minutes, just me and the can, staring each other down. I couldn't think of anything to think about, so I jast sat and stared at the can. I went out and bought more soup, and filled the empty can with the soup.
THE END OF DAYS IS FORETOLD BY THE COMING OF THE EMPTY SOUP. KNOW FEAR
It didn't help, and I didn't eat the soup, but I no longer buy soup of that brand. I still have that can somewhere, although it seems to have crept away.

i could see this missing patch of wall right outside my door and whenever i was in bed with that lamp on i could see a black male man in that hole from the waist up just staring at me...not angry or anything just staring...no one else could see it and it was more than just one night it was there for a long long time...
That paragraph simultaeously scares me and makes me think of those "When you see it you'll shit bricks" pictures that float around the interwebs.
