As far as the 'Guns for home defence' argument goes, I'd feel much safer wih a gun than without. BUt I'm nopt so sure about a shotgun, I mean I wouldn't want to kill the burglers and with a shotgun even if you ust aim t a limb your liable to take it of and then the burglers are guna bleed to death. I think a small bore pistol would do the job nicley.

As for me, I live in a pretty rich neighborhood, and police is pretty much up kids asses. I think we get like 1 murder every 7 years.

Crime is almost non-existent here. Nah, not really. But there's not much, see I live in a very rural town. Only like 50 people here.

But in all seriousness, be lucky you don't live in or near Baltimore. Everyday there's a story on the local news about someone being killed. It's the most violent city in the U.S., I think.

I can only voice my opinion, and my opinion is that if you are carrying a tool that's main purpose is to kill, then you might as well do it right. If you don't ever want to kill, you shouldn't carry a deadly weapon like a gun, ever.

As for crime in my town? It was recently statistically the most dangerous city in Britain. The police, IMO, are fairly lax in the sense that they could have beat coppers walking the streets at night. WTF is the point of having beat cops walking around in broad daylight, then after Midnight they're nowhere to be found?
