Kill someone, and then... Monocle smile! Plus, what's not to love about dapper chaps in top hats?

Do want.

sorry to burst you bubble of awesomeness but ninjas are assassins and assassins creed is probably more true to ninjas (they do this cool stuff)
brotherhood of the assassins is not real while ninjas are =D
Yeah yeah, i know that smartass, just figured feudal japan would be a nice setting and having eastern and western assassins fight would be pure awesome. I'm just not sure exactly what to call Altair's and Ezio's little group of assassins, other than assassins.

If they set an assassin's creed in 18th century Boston, as that CAD webcomic suggested years ago, I would kill myself with happiness.

I can imagine Assassin's Creed in space... you puncture their air tank and have them suffocate. And in space, no one can hear your postmortem monologue.

And I love the crown on the top hat. That's extreme gentlemanliness.

I completely agree with Stout on that.

Though I'm not sure how possible it is for space assassination.
Ezio stabs the guy in the neck... IN SPACE!

They only had a year to make this game, and they spent it shoving in multiplayer

You can't go into the future when the game is set in 2012, as you can only go back in Desmond's genetic memory. And I highly doubt there were Assassins in the Stone Age, besides that fact that modern humanity and dinosaurs never co-existed.

Sorry to be a buzzkill. I actually really dig the story of the "present day" sections of Assassin's Creed more than the story within the Animus sessions. Including checking e-mail.
Well it could have been set during the space race.

anyway, Hey Grey what happened to your Doodad competition?

No, it just pans back and you've actually been another character reliving the life of Desmond as he was reliving the lives of Altair and Ezio.

*starts playing the Twilight Zone music*
Imagine the outcry when they inevitably botch that plot twist.

Maybe it's because I'm reading the Sherlock Holmes stories and am totally on a Victorian kick, but OH YEAH, Assassin's Creed in Victorian england could be SOOOO sweet. You could have a cane with a hidden blade, strangle someone with your specialized pocket watch chain, have an awesome scene in an opera house where you stalk your wealthy target in his private box during the performance, escape from pursuers by jumping into carriages or taking one of the twisting alleyways, meet informants in shady pubs or opium houses. Plus you could still have multicultural targets since it seems like big time politicians and royalty from Germany, France, and other European countries visited England. Could even throw in some American targets! Plus, an gentleman victorian assassin in one of those tailored suits? NICE. Okay, probably not going to happen; running around murdering people would probably be difficult in a movement restricting outfit like that, but I like the suits. :)

Yeah, I think you're my long lost twin.

Or a clone.
Am I really? Something tells me that if I ever get ahold of AC: Brotherhood, we could have a lot of fun coordinating kills. XD
Only if you play on the 360 and I bother to buy a headset that actually fits.

Agreed, there's so much more that could have been done.

Unfortunately, it probably will be. All of it and more . . .
