Probably the first time I beat Ikaruga without dying.

Or when I made this [http://www.metroid2002.com/without_boost_space_jump.mp4] jump in Metroid Prime, starting off my little obsession with speedruns...

Shooting Salazar from RE4 in the face with a rocket launcher and killing him in one hit was pretty fun, especially after dying so very, very many times the first playthrough.
That was so underwhelming for me.
I'd picked up a single shot rocket launcher some time before that fight, and the little shit had been annoying me the entire game, so when he gave his "I'm gonna kill you" speech and transformed, it took less than 5 seconds for that launcher to be on my shoulders and a missile flying towards his face.

OT; a game of verses in L4D2 was pretty awesome the other night. We were playing as infected, and we pulled off an incredibly satisfying combo attack that took out the entire team in one hit.

Fallout 3: Killed a Deathclaw literally three minutes outside of the very first Vault with a 10mm pistol.

Team Fortress 2: My very first stairstab as Spy. Now it doesn't seem so special since everyone calls me a hacker and or lagger...

Mine is very similar to yours. I had started up a melee character and had the deathclaw random encounter at level 3. I beat it down with a police baton.

Got a 5 kill streak in MW2 using nothing but my knife. It is my destiny!
Similar, I got a seven killstreak with nothing but my knife. That lead to a harrier, which lead to a chopper gunner, which lead to my first nuke. That has to be my crowning moment of awesome.

Beating the hard path on starfox 64, me and my cousin always tried when we were younger but could never make it and then earlier this year he was cleaning his room to move to college and found his N64, i dont care what you say, the hard path is hard as hell.
oh grow up it is not.I get mad if i don't get 1000 kills every playthrough, and the hard path produces the most enemies.
Yeah, and I'm sure certain parts of your nether regions are also over 8 inches long.

As I just mentioned in another thread:

Beating the Water Temple in under 3 hours with no guide, my first time playing it.

And getting 1000GP in COD4.
how the crap did you do that?

beating higher class people in games. Just cuz they played more than me doesn't mean they are superior; you just have to think.

Also, in TF2, I went an entire round in Badwater Basin as Pyro without dying, and got 26 points that round. I pushed that cart the whole friggin way!

Reminds me of my Melee only run on Dead Space.
Nothing like swinging at an Alien and screaming fuck you at the screen.
yep, there is nothing as satisfying as smashing in an aliens skull with the butt of a gun

I know this isn't technically a gaming achievement, but I slept with a girl named Alex Mercer.

And no, she did not look like this [http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/prototypeuniconrn.jpg].

[small]Also, when I beat Phantasy Star Online for the very first time. I nearly did a back flip out of joy![/small]
Prototype huh? :)

Just made sure to explore every route thoroughly and remember where things were.

The only annoying parts were the whirlpools and Dark Link.

Whenever this thread pops up I give this long detailed explanation about this time I kicked some serious ass in a Lan match of quake 3 against some blokes from school. Basically my competitive edge kicked in, I employed great tactics like combos of strafing, covering and rapid weapon switching all of which helped me get top of the server with triple the score of the guy just below me. What made it seem all the sweeter was that the whole tiime everyone in the match was yelling out things "Oi who's the ubercheese (My username...I don't know why)" or "I think ubercheese is hacking". Oh and did I point out that no-one knew I was the ubercheese and when I answered the cries at the end by telling them that I was the ubercheese and that I didn't hack or cheat or exploit most of them still thought I had cheated somehow.
