Le'arda dropped close to the ground as soon as she was away from the city.

Good, shes got the armor and weapons. Leo thought, he could easily make out her shape even at the distance she was at. Now to wait for Ned to finish the program input and any touch ups for the mechs and for the pilots to arrive for the debrief on the situation.
I really wish they'd hurry though

<color=blue>"Damn I feel like a badass" Crasher said, looking at himself by jacking into a camera in the garage, he had quadruple blades on his back as well as a sniper rifle on a strap and an assault rifle magnetised onto his leg "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's test our those swords" Kar responded, grinning a bit in spite of himself
<color=blue>"What about the rifles?" "I know how to use a friggin' rifle! it's the swords that have me concerned!" Kar snapped in response, hopping into the mecha's chest and putting on his neuro-interface helmet and slipping an arm into four holes in the control cabin of the mech, corresponding to each arm, he unsheathed the blades and gave each a quick twirl going through a few simple movements, then a few more complex ones, before he finally sheathed the swords and exited the cabin "Right, weapons are done, now we need to do a checkup, I don't want you breaking down on me out there." He said, grabbing a scanner and a few tools, quickly going to work.

"Alright, Ella. Eclypse is ready. I guess you guys want to get back to the search, so I'll just-"

Ned, Weren't you going to explain something?

"Oh...Right. I assume you want to know about the program?"

Ned sat down on a bench, sighed, and started talking.

"About three years ago, when I started my research into EMP technology, the security council saw what it could do, and they were scared. No, that's not the right word. Cautious. They were worried what could happen if an enemy managed to build the stuff we were buliding. So, they told the designers to start working on anti-EMP technology. Me and Leo were working together on it, and eventually we made a breakthrough. It was a way to effectively cancel out EMP based attacks. However, the research had had cost a lot. They didn't want anyone to know how much of the budget we had used on a type of weapon that hadn't even been invented yet."

He motioned towards Eclypse.

"They kept it secret. Remember that energy transfer upgrade a while back? While the Mechs were in the shop, they had us upload Plan 95. Every regulation mech built in the city has it. Even Choppy."

Ned stood back up.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I've always felt rotten for having to keep this kind of secret. If you have any questions, I'll be in the smithy later. But right now, I need to go activate 95 on the rest of the mechs."

"No questions. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get going." Ella quickly exited the hangar and left to find... something. Something that would help her find Gil. She wasn't sure what she was looking for but kept her eyes open for any clues.

"Hm. That went well."

Ned moved on to the Silic unit.
"Hey, Silic. Silic? Silic?!? Ugh. This is why I hate dealing with synthetics..."

He turned his attention the the mech. It didn't seem to mind him, so he started imputing the activation code for Plan 95.

Leo paced in front of the scene he had stumbled upon a few hours prior.
"Le'arda, please send a message to all available units. I need a few people for a team, tell them to meet me at my current location for a mission debrief. At least two units are needed but 3 is preferable." Leo said stearnly. He really wanted to get moving, Gil was on borrowed time now.

 

[Nukey]

"Quit fucking shouting, I heard you the first time." Silic grunted lifting himself up from the coach and springing onto his feet, stumbling back and forth due to a lack of coordination. His eyes settled on a mellow shade of blue as he made his way into the mech.

"How did you sleep?"

"Fine until they made me get up, why do I work with these guys again?"

"To keep you under a roof you jaded fuck."

Ned finished inputing the code, and hit

"So...You two operate like this?"

Ned. Update from Leo.

"Hm? What now?"

Says he wants a team at his location, at least two pilots

"Perfect, we have three right here. Send a message to Ella and Kar, tell them what you told me. Oh, but tell Crasher and Kar to meet me here first, I haven't put in Plan 95 for them yet."

"What is it Eclipse?"
"There is an incoming message from Le'arda."
"What does it say?"
"It seems that Leo would like all available units to converge onto his location and assist him.
"Lets get going then."

Within half an hour Ella and Eclipse arrived by Leo. The cockpit opened and she waved. "You called?"

Leo stopped pacing as Eclipse touched down. Ella yelled a question at him.
"I did, please have a rest until the others get here. I would like us all to be present so I dont have to repeat myself. This cant be done over a comm frequency either, theres too much important stuff right here," he pointed at the wreckage, "that needs to be seen with your own eyes." He paused, thought a bit, then resumed speaking.
"Feel free to look around, or just sit in your mech, it doesnt bother me one way or the other." Leo said as he resumed pacing.

Description: 6? tall, white almost to the point of paleness, and built like a basketball player. Brown hair and eyes. Never been seen outdoors without his black baseball cap or sunglasses. Often wearing a funny/ironic T-shirt and jeans.

Bio: Born and raised in Celentic City, Fyodor Luther Kennedy is the son of a moderately successful politician who will soon be running for mayor. Rumors that Luther (as he is most commonly called) and the daughter of a prominent criminal overlord have been friends since childhood are unconfirmed. While his older brother and kid sister both seem to be following in their father's footsteps, mech piloting was the only career Luther ever seriously considered. Luther may have been given his job as a pilot thanks in part to his father's connections (or more shady ones, depending on who you ask,) but once given entrance he has proven himself to be more than capable of handling most anything that comes his way. His major motivation continues to be proving he deserves every opportunity he is given, though who he still needs to prove himself to remains unclear. Most people see him as distant and cold (and possibly crazy), but his few friends claim he can be a fun guy when he opens up to people.

Ella jumped out of Eclipse and looked at the wreckage. "My god... Do you know anything so far Leo?" She knew he wouldn't answer her question until the others came but she tried her luck anyway.

Kar placed a finger to his ear and listened to the message, he clambered back up inside Crasher and headed over to the are Ned was in, upon arrival he hopped out, loosening up his muscles "Whatcha' need?" He queried

"Well, you've probably heard about Gil. Leo sent me a message telling me to activate Plan 95 on everyone. It's a dormant program built into all mechs. It won't take a minute."

What, He doesn't get a long, complicated background?

"Eh, don't mind him. He's got a faulty personality chip. Right this way."

Faulty? I'll show you faulty...

Ned walked over to a nearby interface terminal. "No complicated upgrade required, I just need to input an activation code."

Gwen finished strapping the emp cannon onto the back of Atlas. The bindings would secure it until they meet up with the others in the field where Gwen could attach it to one of the senior pilot's mechas. With Ned having activated plan 95 on them already Atlas was ready to fly. Gwen climbed the maintenance ladder and entered the cockpit.

"You said there would be no heavy lifting," the machine grumbled sullenly.

"Change of plan I'm afraid," he said as he strapped himself in. "Now let's get to the hanger."

Name: Ryan Sedin (Pronounced Se-deen, guess where I got that and you win my respect...)
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Human (I'm so creative)
Description: 6'4" with medium length dirty blond hair, piercing blue eyes, clean shaven, slightly tanned skin. Pretty lanky, usually seen wearing a red toque, black t-shirt with various sayings on them, blue jeans, and a beat up pair of black sneakers. He's very nice, generous to a fault, but doesn't appreciate people who judge him on first glance. He can also be somewhat naive at times, often believe outlandish claims without so much as a second guess.
Current Citizen
Bio: Was born and raised in the West District, to the owners of the highest rated hotel in the city. He has a twin brother, Daniel, who was anointed the heir apparent to the business when they were both 16, so Ryan decided to do what he always wanted, fly mecha. Training was a bit of trouble, as his stature made it hard to cram into the smaller training mechas used, and because of this, he was not successful on his first couple of attempts to pass. But evetually he got so good with the controls that he completed training when he was 20. He's has been piloting for the past year and a half and has gotten very well acquainted with his mecha Salo. He hasn't been in an actual battle yet, mostly just patrol duty, but he's ready to go if need be.
