TO EVERYONE: It doesn't matter if you have a PS3 or a XBOX 360, if the game is fun then it is fun. Just because it's exclusive to the PS3 doesn't mean it's better or worse than a XBOX 360 title or Vise Versa. We are all gamers, and fanboys or not we can all agree on one thing and that is WE ALL LOVE PLAYING VIDEOGAMES!!! Adam Sessler is right go to www.g4tv.com/soapbox and watch the Killzone 2 video. Sorry if it sounds like I'm being a jerk but I agree with Adam, JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I just read the entire 4th page in disbelief, and I honestly hadn't expected members of this forum to reach these levels of agressive retardedness. Well, I had expected it from Indigo, but the rest of you... man. I mean, some people are actually talking about sales figures. Fucking sales figures, like we're all in the comment section on N4G! I still can't comprehend why anyone would give a flying fuck about how many people bought the same product that they did.

Hey man i'm not a fanboy of the PS3 or XBOX 360 I just bought the 360 because it was cheaper at the time but all i'm saying is that there are still some people who think one game console is better than an other and i'm trying to point out to everyone that if a shooter is fun on the PS3 then it's fun and they should deal with it. If i had a PS3 i would buy Killzone 2 myself

The Edge review has been covered, and frankly is a pathetically bad review. Inconsistant describes what the reviewer wants from a game. A realistic game, with an unrealistic amount of character depth. He should have read a book if he wanted depth.

Call of Duty: World at War = 6/10
Killzone 2 = 7/10
F.E.A.R. 2 = 8/10

Considering Killzone 2 has done better than FEAR 2 in almost every review, who ever reviewed Killzone 2 should be shot. Fear 2 is nothing more than a remake of the first, so points for originality aren't there, whereas Killzone 2 offers a technically better, and more innovative game. Having played all 3 (just the demo of FEAR 2 though), Killzone is miles above CoD:WoW. To say it's a little bit better is just flat out bull.

The ignorance is astounding...how do I put this without possibly being banned?

. OK, shut up and look at the bigger picture - stop entrapping yourself behind your own viewpoint and actually think that others may have opinions.

2. Reviews are often written by different people
3. Your opinion of Killzone 2 is exactly that - an opinion - if the reviewer thinks it worth an 8.7 then they will write it as so.

Again its just a fanboy rant - I could sum it up in satirical terms:

"WAGH! Killzone 2 didn't get 10 OMG!! CVG are soooooooo biased I mean FEAR 2 was shit but it only got 0.7 marks away from Killzone =O.
Killzone is the best game ever! Yeah, it must be! Its on the PS3! - I'm going to compare it to Halo 3 - you know, a game thats been out for over a year and a half, Halo is shit compared to Killzone - Halo is just sooo unoriginal, but Killzone isn't, it brings so many new features to the FPS genre it must be worth a 10/10 lets take lines out of a review and claim the guy who reviewed Halo 3 must have been a fanboy - you know because Killzone is so good anyone who didn't give it an instant 10 knows nothing about video games!

I'm going to keep whining and moaning on a forum about a video game score instead of actually playing said game - its that good..."

Just...stop acting as though everyone has to share your opinion, go watch Adam Sesslers reply to Killzone 2 fanboys on X-play.

I have to say, it's somewhat ironic your agreeing with someone who hasn't either played Killzone 2 or read the review in question, but bashed anyone who disagree with him, instantly claiming they're a fanboy.

What...no dude i'm just agreeing with his point of just play the game and shut the F*** up with all the PS3 and XBOX 360 fanboy crap. we all love playing video games!

Another average (I stress NOT BAD) review of Killzone 2. Yet again, this was met with a pretty strong stream of angry letters in the mailbox. In my experience, GC have always been fair and just reviewers, and so to accuse them of being Halo-tards is a little extreme.

What I am curious about, though, is why Killzone 2, more than pretty much any game I remember, has attracted so much bile from fanboys. Why is this? I know it was well-hyped, but after a handful of GOOD (just not great) reviews the fanboys are spitting tacks about it. Can someone explain to me, if you are convinced you're enjoying a game, why a review of less than 9/10 warrants you going on the internet and calling everyone who disagrees with you a "******"?

I am sure some of the events surrounding this case would make for an excellent psychology thesis.

Actually, I didn't see any Xbox fanboys pulling this kind of nonsense when Gears 2 got a bunch of 8's. The phenomenon certainly isn't new, and of course it happens on both sides, but the level of retardedness that some PS3 fanboys are spouting these days is insane, and frankly, slightly frightening if you ask me.
