[HEADING=2]Step into Hell on Earth[/HEADING]

Demons have walked the earth for almost as long as man has, and have been a nuisance for just as long. It's for this reason that we've always had slayers to even out the infestation. They've done such a good job over the past couple thousand years, it'd be easy to think they didn't exist. You'd be wrong. It's guy like me that save your collective asses every day. I get rid of the monsters without you even knowing about it. Unfortunately, these guys are starting to cause a bigger ruckus like the old days. And even badass demon slayers need help once in awhile. So what do you say? Are you in?- Colonel Lin. Head of Division 1.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the Demonic Intelligence, Communication, & Execution squad, also known on the books as just D.I.C.E. Our job is simple. When demons start popping up, we send you deal with them, and wipe up any evidence. Your Oni, your succubuses, your weird floating heads. We cover it all. We have a fair number of recruits mixed in with the veterans today, so let?s do a little review of the basics.

Everyone is broken up into the divisions. What division you?re placed in determines the missions you go on, and the equipment you get access to.

Earth as you know it with a few modifications. A small population of the human population know about demons, but most of it is dismissed as urban legends. It isnt uncommon to find an entire pack of demons in areas the size of citys.

The seperation of the human and underworld is thinly protected. It's fairly easy to end up on Hades' doorstep when roaming about in demon territory.
Division 1- Elite slayers. This is the top notch crew of executioners. They tackle wide scale infestations. We?re talking, countrywide campaigns that last weeks to months. These are all the veterans from each group.

Division 2- Mages and might- These are your more traditional slayers. They fall back on the whole sword and sorcery business most the military guys call outdated.

Division 3- Military. We can't leave all the fighting to a bunch of guys with swords and shields. A select few modern military personnel are recruited from around the world to deal with the problems when the magic guys are off handling something else.

Division 4- Recon and Intel. They are the more low key members of the organization. If we think demons are trying to worm their way into society by way of possession, why send either the plain clothes, or stealth guys. They also serve the secondary function of interrogators for humans trying to help the demons out.

Division 5- Civilian Defence. These are the guys new to the game. They're your random gunslingers, swordmen, or superpowered fellow that think they can handle a monster. We tend to put recruits in this sector to get their feet wet and give them a chance to know what they?re in for.

Division 6- Science and engineering. The boys in charge of coming up with better weapons and take to take care of supernatural beings. Most are in the lab doing test, but the braver ones are know to tag along to do some field testing, and of course, collect specimens.

Division 0- Unknown. Even I dont know what these guys are used for, and I'm fine with that. The cloak and dagger stuff they get into creeps me out. My best guess is, they?re the demon hunting equivalent to black ops teams. Though, when we full well know DV1 takes on full grown dragons, it makes you wonder what they need to keep secret about...

I know you said 'No Division Zero characters' but I hope you find the character interesting enough and are happy that I put the character on the start of his progression into badassary, rather than full-blown-ninja-killer-god.

Name: Valentine

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Nation: US/Native American

Species: Human/Genetically engineered

Appearance: Valentine stands at 5'10 with a medium build, he has a firm and sharp looking face, with high cheek-bones, a short but structured nose adds definition. His muscles are toned whilst not being overly large and his skin takes that of his ancestors. Long black hair rests scruffily on his shoulders and a trade mark scar etches down the right of his face, an old wound. He wears a simple ballistic vest, with combat fatigues underneath and a set of well looked after magnum boots. Valentines eye's are an interesting mix of blue and orange ( Heterochromia iridum )and at closer inspection look much like cat eyes.

Personality: Valentine is unusually quiet around others. He follows orders and is quick to help a team-mate out, but will often stay out of group conversations. He has few comrades within D.I.C.E that he will talk openly with and has been known to open up after a certain trust has been built between operatives.

Division: Zero

Skills: Valentine is naturally good with fire arms and just about any standard military equipment, he also has basic first aid skills and a thorough training in the arts of stealth. Whilst not being outstanding in any particular area, he can perform most takes without strain. ( Jack of all trades master of none. )

Power/magic: Valentine is much faster than a normal human, having been bio-engineered to have better reflexes and sight. His cat eyes allow him to see well in the dark and enhance his vision during the day, whilst his reflexes are far above average. He can also run much faster than an average Human, being able to keep a steady pace of 10Mph over long distance. He also has a much better sense of smell and hearing, being able to 'Harden' his senses at will.

Weapons & Equipment: Steyr Aug A3 Commando on a sling( Fore-grip, heavy barrel, 3.4x optics, double mags, Cryptic light ), A silver short sword ( In a leg sheathe ) and a Glock 17 in a shoulder holster )

Bio: Valentine is a lab child, being created and 'born' on site at D.I.C.E Facility 28 - His youth was spent on an operating table being surgically enhanced and subject to numerous experiments in an attempt to create a more suitable Demon killer. After surviving his early years ( One of the few tube children to do so ) he was then schooled in the many types of Demons already encountered and how best to kill them. He spent many years in the facility being trained and becoming proficient with a wide range of equipment.

After turning 16, he was finally taken above ground and saw the light of day for the first time. It was then that he learned what he must protect and the people that would never know what he would sacrifice to keep them safe. Shortly after he began taking contracts with Division one ( Being ridiculed for his young age ) and it was during this time that he honed his skills.

At first he was on par with the operatives, much to their surprise, but after a time he began to surpass them and eventually operate on his own. Having only taken a handful of short, but none the less dangerous missions, Valentine is beginning to earn the reputation that has been attached to his division.

I want to join, but I have a question: I'm not the best at using scientific terms and such, but I want to make a character for division 6. Is that a bad idea? I could read up a bit on different topics, but I just want to know if it's a big no-no.

You wont have to rant off techno-babble constantly. Tf you think you can make it work, go for it.

Only NPCs can be in Division Zero right now. Change that and everything else should be fine.

Here is my character. I don't know how to put it in a spoiler though, sorry.

Name: Richard Johnson
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Nation: Presumably American
Species: Human
Appearance: Blond messy hair that?s around ear height and swept away from the face. Grey eyes and pale skin. About medium build, 6'0" in height, and he often wears warm clothes regardless of temperature. First impressions people get from him is often that he seems sloppy and laidback. Keeps an unknown number of gloves on his person.
Personality: He is pessimistic, easily bored and easy to read. His mood has the tendency to change easily and whether he?s talkative or quiet depends on his level of interest in the topic. However, even though he is pessimistic, his confidence and habit of never thinking actions through makes him seem more like an optimist. He usually does what he is told, unless he found something a lot more interesting.
Division: Division 6.
Skills: Though he isn't a genius, his interest in the demons and biology makes him a hard worker and skilled at that. Since he dislikes pain and consequences, he is able to run away and hide easily. He is also good at reading the situation (though he rarely does). He is bad at handling guns, but should the need arise is he able to fire a shotgun on close hold. He is a good negotiator.
Power/magic: He is hard to kill due to superhuman healing and toughness, but still feels every last bit of pain. Has immunity to every known illness.
Weapons & Equipment: Winchester SX3 Black Shadow (shotgun) and a suit-case with what he need for the research at hand. Is often wearing a bulletproof-west and helmet, just in case.
Bio: Due to that he is very hard to kill; he often does field-work, especially when it comes to biological research. He was contacted after meeting D.I.C.E. several times on the field when he snuck into their missions to take samples. It happened when they realized he never wore a hazard-suit or any kind of protection against infection when there was a great risk, yet never got sick or infected. Has been part of D.I.C.E. for half a year, so he?s somewhat of a newbie.

He found out about demons because he heard rumours of strange things happening, and went to investigate. He was about to give up when he stumbled upon some soldiers shooting after demons, both in human form and not, and was shot in belief he as well was a demon. This was how he found out about his ability to survive and heal quickly. His interest comes from a curious mind, interest of biology, and the fact that demons are extremely interesting and that there is alot to find out about them

Edit: Found out how to do it, since it was bothering me.
Edit 2: Expanded on the bio.

Hmm, this RP sounds interesting. A question for you Shadow, would characters from Division Two, specifically on the Magic side, be allowed to have a magical spirit with them as an assistant of sorts? Its just I have an idea in mind for a character, and would also create a separate sheet for the spirit as well.

Thats something I hadn't even considered. Go ahead and put a sheet together. Just clearly define what the spirit's roles and limits are.

Name: Isabelle Hearte

Gender: Female

Age: 29

Nationality: British

Species: Human

Appearance:

Isabelle has long white hair that reaches halfway down her back, and is worn either loose or in a ponytail. She has a slightly pale complexion, and due to having heterochromia; her right eye is a dark violet, whilst her left eye is light blue in colour. Stands at around 6'3'', and has a lithe build, but has shown some form of muscle. Often wears smart looking, rather modern attire, which consists of a white shirt and black tie which is worn underneath a long dark red coat; light coloured trousers and long black boots. She also wears a hat which is similar colouring to her coat, and a scarf.

Personality:

She is an intelligent woman who is confident in her abilities, but isn't afraid to ask for assistance when taking down a demonic threat that she considers out of her league. Her determined nature to see things accomplished means that she will often spend time planning out a strategy to effectively eliminate a target successfully, rather than just charge in.

Division: Division Two (Magic)

Skills:

Being trained from a young age to hunt down demons by her father, she is knowledgeable in many types of demons, their strengths and weaknesses, and their overall methods; all of which is noted down in a notebook she carries with her. She is also learnt how to track a target be it human or demon. In the fields of combat, Isabelle is skilled in wielding a sword and whip in tandem with each other and her elemental magic. As she is the master of a spirit called Vayle, she has begun to learn more about the spirit world.

Power/Magic: Has been trained to control and manipulate the forces of elemental magic in a variety of ways both combat and non-combat oriented.

Weapons and Equipment:

Isabelle carries a sword that has been in her family for roughly five centuries, but despite this, it appears to as if it was fresh from a blacksmith; this is due to the magic that was forged into the blade itself when it was first made, and has helped to maintain its sharpness and condition. Arcane runes which are etched into the blade, allow Isabelle to enchant it with magic, making it more powerful.

She also wields a whip when she requires a little more range in battle; but it can also serve the purpose of allowing her to cross open gaps or pits. Like the sword, it too can also be enchanted with magic for devastating effects when used at the right time. Isabelle also carries a journal and pencil, which means she can note down her findings and also research previous encounters for ways to apprehend a target. Finally Isabelle carries a locket with a picture of her father inside.

The Hearte family has been around for centuries, with the first known recordings happening around the early 1600s, with Sir Geralt Hearte in England, although some expect them to be even older. This family has always been fighting the demonic threats, whether it be official business, or private affairs, both of which were sanctioned by the government and monarchy of the time. Few people outside of close allies and the ruling heads of state knew what their work was about; this appeared to have attracted the ire of the Roman Catholic Church, who condemned the family due to their use of magic, believing them to be devils themselves.

Throughout their existence, they have aided organisations such as D.I.C.E in situations where their knowledge has proven to be useful and in some cases invaluable; they have even been rumours that several organisations have tried to recruit the family, but none succeeded. It would take a terrible event to occur for that to happen.

Isabelle was born on a cold winter's evening almost thirty years ago. Her parents, Gabriel and Lilith were overcome with joy at the sight of their beautiful daughter; and both of them knew that she had the power of the Hearte family inside. When she was but a child, her father had begun to teach her the ancient art of daemon slaying; whilst she was initially hesitant, in the end she realised that this was what her family had done for centuries.

It was around the age of ten that her powers over magic began to blossom, as whilst the family was out during a trip, they were set upon by a group of lesser daemons; and in her scared state, and without her knowledge, she had called forth a bolt of lightning that made the demons scatter. After making sure that she was safe, they researched what type of magic had she been given, and discovered that she had control over elemental forces. Over the next few years, and whilst trying to have the life of a normal girl, she had managed to gain enough control over her magic that her father thought it was time that she received a gift from her family, the sword that had been a part of their collective history.

Gabriel told her that the sword had been in the family for as long as the family itself had existed, and as such had become their symbol in a way. Despite its age, the blade itself looked pristine, as if had just been pulled out of the blacksmith?s forge. He explained to her that it was magic that kept the blade looking like new. Several arcane symbols had been etched onto the blade?s surface, being told that this would help Isabelle utilize her power in a different way, through enchanting.

Over the next few years, Isabelle and her father began working as consultants and assisted the organisation known as D.I.C.E in a variety of cases, with Isabelle herself becoming an honorary member of their second division, which specialised in more traditional methods such as with swords and magic; but she wouldn't become a fully fledged member until later. By the time she had reached 18 years of age, she was beginning to surpass her father in terms of skill, a fact that he was pleased by. To commemorate this, he presented her with a special journal, which contained knowledge of a variety of daemons that inhabited Earth.

Unfortunately for her, things began to change, and for the worst...

It all happened five years ago to the present day, on a winter night much like the one she was born in. In the woods that surrounded their home, a strange voice could be heard; one that sounded ominous. Whilst Isabelle wished to investigate this disturbance, her father asked her to remain inside with her mother, fearing for her safety. Despite countless protests, in the end she decided to stay, understanding the concern.

By the time morning had come, Gabriel had not returned; this caused both of the women to be greatly concerned. After gathering some items, they set out to search the woods. Hours later, they had seen a clearing, with a body slumped next to it, a sword lying next to it. When they arrived at the clearing, it was to their shock and horror that they discovered Gabriel?s body, the man himself at death?s door. They then heard a rustling sound, as a large demon covered in moss and leaves rose from the undergrowth.

Whilst Lilith tried to bring her husband back, Isabelle fought the demon, using all the knowledge that she had learned to fight. After a while, using her whip to hold it down, she eventually drove the sword that was sheathed in fire straight into the demon?s heart. Despite everything though, Gabriel had passed away during the battle, his last words were: ?I love you.?

For the next few days, whilst Lilith made the funeral arrangements, Isabelle was quiet, deeply in morning out of respect for her father. When she did finally return to the world, she was a little different, in a way she had grown up, having to take on the mantle of the Hearte family. It was during this silence that she realised something that the family couldn?t be hunting demons by itself forever, they had to be part of something to ensure their survival. So using the contacts they had made during their times as members, Isabelle became a member of D.I.C.E.

During one of her missions, Isabelle had discovered a wondering spirit, a shape shifter by the name of Vayle. After a long conversation about the various beings of the world and of magic, Vayle had become a assistant to Isabelle, and chose a more feminine appearance to accompany her new master. She has since provided Isabelle with interesting information about the realm of spirits.

Name: Vayle

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown (Appears To Look To Be In Her Early 20s)

Nationality: Unknown

Species: Spirit (Shape Shifter)

Appearance:

Whilst Vayle can assume any form she chooses at can change at any given time; she prefers her current guise as that of a female fortune teller, wearing a pale red hooded cloak which splits into two tails at the end, and a long dark brown dress. In terms of her actual physical features, like her master Isabelle, she has long white hair, although it's not nearly as long; reaching to just below her shoulders. She has pink eyes and rather pointed ears, giving her the appearance of an elf. A thin nose and full red lips.

Personality:

In contrast to Isabelle's more serious and mature nature, Vayle is more bubbly and good natured; always finding an occasion to smile. When not assisting Isabelle fight off demons, she can be seen to be kind hearted, wishing to help others. Should Isabelle become seriously injured, she becomes more scared and frightened, seriously concerned for her safety. There are however times when she can be rather frightening.

Division: Division Two (Technically)

Skills:

Thanks to her supposed long life, she has knowledge of demons from ages gone past, this helps Isabelle understand, and become better prepared quicker.

Power/Magic:

Due to being a spirit, Vayle cannot actively fight demons herself, unless of course they are spirits themselves; in that case she will use her crystal ball to attack or inflict status conditions onto opponents.

Weapons/Equipment:

Due to being a spirit she doesn't actually carry any equipment with her per se; but Vayle is often seen peering into a crystal ball, whether she can actually peer into the future with it is up for debate; although it has proven useful as a means to cast magic. She is also occasionally seen holding a single red rose, but the significance of it is lost to her, although she does find it rather pretty, sometimes even wearing one of a seemingly endless supply in her hair. Stuck inside her belt, she also carries a broken end of a sword, but doesn't know where she found it.

Biography:

Vayle sadly does not remember much of her time when she was alive; although in the few faint memories she has managed to recover, she remembers it being a very long time ago, a time where swords not guns were the most commonly used weapon, and much of the land was still green, but with more monsters roaming about. She also remembers wanting to forget something, and to be away from someone or somewhere, but the names difficult to find. In fact, she can't even remember how she became a spirit in the first place.

She has spent much of her time travelling about the place, learning about the world and its people; always sounding a mixture of delight and curiosity when making a new discovery. During one of her many trips, she was attacked by a Ghoul demon. Despite not having to fight before, she quickly learned how to use her crystal ball as a weapon. However, she soon collapsed from exhaustion and just as she was her spirit was about to be devoured, the Ghoul disappeared into ash, and out came a living human woman clutching a sword.

After a brief explanation, the woman called herself Isabelle Hearte, a person from an organization known as D.I.C.E. Vayle was at first curious to learn more about these people, as she had never seen a living person fight a demon before; but was afraid of that sword. An hour or so later of discussion and reasoning, Vayle decided to become a servant of Isabelle, as she saved Vayle's life. Since then she has proven herself to be a valuable ally, but also a friend.

EDIT: Completed both character sheets, and wanting some feedback. But also willing to take suggestions.

Lara stands 5?5? in height, with a slim physique. She has short blonde hair (around neck length in height) that she dyes a light shade of copper, usually keeping it tied back into a pony tail. She has an attractive round face with green eyes. Given her career in the USAF she favors standard issue BDU?s, that come in a variety of colors depending on the destination terrain.

Personality:

She is best described as a chirpy person, who maintains a positive outlook on life, she lacks the personal skills to be a widely sociable person and often can be absorbed in her own work. She is known to be nervous when out on field work.

Division: Division 6 - Science and engineering

Skills: PhD in Mechanical Engineering with Applied Physics, United States Air Force Captain (USAF)

Power/magic: None

Weapons & Equipment: FN P90, EPG-004 (a custom built pistol for D.I.C.E. that discharges bolts of electricity - needs field testing)

Bio:

Lara Reid was born on a wet march morning, at Maryland, Holy Cross Hospital. She was the youngest of three children in a career military family. Her father, Marcus, was a United States Air Force General who relocated the family to the suburbs of Kensington after accepting a desk job at the Department of Defence. He hoped to provide his children with the kind of life he never had as a child as his father was often away from home with the army. Lara lived an idyllic childhood and excelled in education. She studied for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with Applied Physics at Stanford University, and after graduating, enlisted in the USAF at the request of her father.

After basic training Lara worked on repairing the weapon systems of attack helicopters, spending a couple of four month tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. She moved into the field of automated drones soon after and returned to the United States to work on building more advanced weapon platforms for the drones and aircraft. Lara gained quite a reputation for her work and caught the eye of D.I.C.E. during a a military recruitment drive. At first she refused to believe in the existence of demons but after accepting a mission to provide aerial reconnaissance for an urban operation she was soon convinced to join and accepted a position as department lead in one of the research and development labs of section six. Lara leads her lab in the development of new weapons and vehicles for field work and is highly respected by her peers and chain of command.

This includes her most recent creation the EPG-004 (electronic projectile gun revision four), a unique prototype designed to fire a single electrical charge, intended to overwhelm the electrical brain activity of a target. Unfortunately the weapon still remains in testing and can only fire one shot before the need to vent the resulting build up of heat. The need for portability means that the weapon is equipped with a small battery that is drained after one shot.

Given her training in the USAF Lara was selected to field test various creations and has accompanied numerous teams on missions across the globe. Although she is not a direct combat soldier Lara has proven herself to be resilient in the face of imminent danger and enjoys the opportunity to directly study the demons more closely.

Lara has been working for D.I.C.E. for three years now and her absence from the ?normal? world has caused a rift between her and her father who still remains disappointed at her choice to leave the USAF (he does not know about D.I.C.E.).

I'm game, do let me know what you think of the following concept.

Name: Subject 24 / Crow

Gender: Male

Age: 7

Nation: None officially. Perhaps technically British as the facility he was made was in the UK.

Species: (Artificially Created) Demon.

Appearance: (Usually) Has the appearance of a pale, slim human male in early 20s with bright blue eyes and neatly combed black hair. Generally wears a smart but otherwise dull suit. White shirt, black necktie, grey vest, black trousers and dress shoes. No jacket though. Under the clothing, there are thin metal bindings fitted around his neck, wrists and ankles marked with various symbols.

Personality: As a rule, Crow is polite and respectful towards his fellow members of DICE as compliance and co-operation has proven to be much more helpful for a tolerable existance (and a continued one)than defiance. Somewhat of a bookworm, he tends to spend much of his free time reading. His curiousity is boundless, a product of being largely confined to the lab facility and has fostered a deep fascination with the wider world and human culture. The same curiousity has also proven helpful for ensuring his compliance with various experiments over the years. After all, a labrat as curious as the science team is less likely to object to being subjected to more tests.

Division: (Property of) Division 6

Skills: Has trained himself excessively in the art of hand to hand combat and prefers to avoid using weapons, due to a lack of practical expertise. (No one wanted to hand the demonic labrat a blade or a gun. Can't imagine why.) Has also developed good sleight of hand as a consequence of spending time trying to learn some stage magician tricks after reading about them.

Power/magic: Due to quite sensibly designing a safety mechanism when building a demon, the bindings on Crow's body keep his powers sealed. The bindings allow a handler to suppress or enable his ability to use his powers. When wholly unsuppressed, Crow is able to manifest a pair of black wings and use fire based magic. He is also capable of altering his form to a limited degree when his powers are partially unsuppressed. Hair and eye colour and complexion he cannot alter, marking his transformations somewhat recognisable to DICE agents who know about him. This has been used on occasion to enable him to be used as a spy in the outside world(with a DICE agent never far away to re-suppress his power in case he got any ideas.)

Weapons & Equipment: No weapons. Carries a small notebook and a pen for idle notes and musings.

Bio: Subject 24 AKA Crow was designed and created by Division 6 to be indistinguishable from a standard demon save for the fact that he can be effectively controlled. Such a demon could then be used for experiments to help determine how various things would effect the demons DICE hunts. In addition, having a controlled demon on hand can occasionally prove useful, such as in the case of the espionage via limited transformation detailed above. As a minor note on that subject, Subject 24 makes a point of answering to the name Raven rather than Crow on the odd occasion a female form is taken. He(she?) finds this name based joke very funny. The handlers rarely agree because let's be honest, it's pretty bad. As personal histoy goes beyond the science purposes go, there's not a lot to tell. Crow lives in a room in a lab facility, gets used as a guinea pig, reads a whole bunch in his spare time and occasionally is allowed out to actually do things. He hopes that one day he might actually be allowed to live among humanity, but he's not holding his breath.

I'm aware that the concept would require SOMEONE to be holding Crow's leash if my character sheet is accepted, so if a Div 6 or maybe Div 2 who uses magic wanted to do so, that's fine with me. Failing that I guess an NPC could do it. Probably more fun if another player did though. But I'm getting ahead of myself, this might not even be accepted!

I'm new to RP's was wondering exactly how they worked, as this one seems quite interesting and I'd like to get involved. Do you just make a charatcer and then the DM starts posting and we start responding? How do?

Pretty much, but your sheet has to be accepted first. Since this is your first post, I assume you're new here? If so, welcome and stay out of the basement.

Name: Alystair Skimpole is what he prefers.

Gender: Appears male

Age: unknown

Species: Demon

Appearance: When in human form, takes the form of a slim albino when not on missions with neatly combed hair, otherwise looks like an average person of whatever country he happens to be in. His demon form looks like your standard affair of ram horns, pointy tail, and legs of a goat.

Personality: He is an arrogant man with an indifference to humans, but a hatred for demons. He is usually quiet and slow to anger, and has a tendency of overusing and generally flaunting his powers.

Division: 4

Skills: Has incredible skill with magic and manipulating humans.

Power/Magic: Telekinesis, shadow bombs, Transformation, and animate shadow.

Weapons/gear: An earpiece to communicate with COs. Otherwise nothing.

Bio:

Can't really think of a bio right now, I'll come back tommorow and fill it in if I'm still interested.

Just a quick question, When you ask for species is there any restrictions bar demons? Like can you be a the offspring of a god and mortal or one of the Fae?

Name: Eligor / Souldrinker

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown.

Nation: N/A, though regards himself as British.

Species: Demonic Sentient Sword

Appearance: A hand-and-half sword that glows eerily in the darkness, red lines tracing the cross-section of the blade. Forged of metal from a meteorite and has a dragonbone hilt. One would take it for a normal sword if they didn?t notice the eye, the demonic eye that stares right back. An ouroboros is carved onto the pommel, writhing around a blood-red ruby. There is an inscription on the blade, on the ricasso to be exact, in runic lettering it reads:

A vessel for a soul
Of a vanquished foe

Bound with the rites of Agamemnon
And locked with the Key of Solomon

Once a demon knight
Now takes up another's fight.

No longer his own master
Condemned to be the demon-slayer's waster.

His ID card is attached to a chain that is around the cross-guard. The cross-guard itself is made of the same metal as the blade but has been forged to resemble demon?s horns. His eye is yellow with a black pupil and a red iris and rests in the middle of the rain guard (or chappe).

[sub]Best image I could get.[/sub]

Personality: Being imprisoned in a sword for years does have an impact on your personality, while Eligor would like to think that he is as polite as possible, he mostly comes off gruff and sarcastic, especially when an ?inferior? warrior is wielding him. Eligor is rather pompous, often spouting stuff like he was there when that happened and so on and expects, as an elder and a self-proclaimed member of Division One to be highly respected.

Division: (Property of) Division One.

Skills: He has great knowledge, much firsthand, of weaponry and warfare and has a great vault of supernatural knowledge, though most of that is out of date simply due to being out of the loop for a long time. He is intelligent and enjoys puzzles. Eligor regards himself as the only blade that can teach a young squire how to fight properly.

Power/magic: Eligor can levitate and float, primarily using this ability for movement and for defending himself when there?s no one available to wield him. He can get a few good swipes in but requires a good partner to wield him for full effectiveness. He can also shapeshift into any other bladed weapon as needed, but conversation of mass needs to be accounted for. In addition to this, he can astrally project an ethereal avatar of himself as no one take a talking sword seriously. He appears as a well-groomed human male in his late-fifties wearing a suit (Eligor used to appear as an old knight with a lance, a scepter and a pennon but considers business suits to be the up-to-date equivalent.) but he still has the same eyes as he is unable to truly mask his demonic nature. However the projection is ethereal and cannot interact with the physical world.

Weapons & Equipment: N/A, swords don?t have storage space. And Eligor himself is a weapon.

Bio: Eligor used to be a Great Duke of Hell until some chap with a sword that could capture souls did him in. It was just a normal day for him until some lout with the Ars Goetia summoned him, Eligor was expecting the lad to ask him to do something for him, as things like discovering hidden objects, kindling love and lust, procuring the favour of knights and lords, marshalling armies and causing war were his jobs back then and the lad could ask for any for that, for a price. But no! The pox-scarred lad just imprisoned him in the summoning circle, asked Eligor to remove his helmet so he could see the face of a demon and stabbed Eligor then and there when he was distracted. As the sword was thrust into the Duke?s side, ethereal arms came out of the blade and hammered the demon?s soul into the blade, using his corpse as an anvil. Then Eligor was a Great Duke no longer, with nearly all his powers gone and his sixty legions of spirits turning traitor to serve another demon lord. The inscription was carved into the blade as soon as it was cool enough and the process of soul transfer was complete.

Years passed, they were a blur of blood and warfare, and Eligor was found, dup up by an archaeologist who was surprised by the fact that the sword was still in good condition. When the archaeologist found out that he had found the legendary sword Souldrinker, he was overjoyed and announced his discovery to the world and auction off the blade, living on the money paid for it. Turns out, the bidder with a large wallet was a member of D.I.C.E, a specialist of weapons like Souldrinker and Eligor has been stuck in a D.I.C.E facility ever since. Soon they discover the sword was sentient and brought him into service, teamed with a number of partners to slay demons. Eligor saw how low his kind has stooped and agreed to help as long as the weak were culled. He saw his servitude at D.I.C.E. as one last chance at glory, having lost his own years ago and has worked with the organisation ever since.

Can edit and change stuff if need be.

Anyone want to be one of his partners?

Ok, after a little re-thinking here is sheet #2.

Name: Lost and Found

Gender: Male

Age: 36

Nation: US

Species: Human

Appearance: Lost and Found stands at an even 6 foot and has larger than average muscle mass weighing in at roughly 215Lbs. His head is clean shaven and dozens of scars adorn his face, with a large one resting upon his chin and lips, adding character, he has a bright set of blue eyes. Before attaining these gifts, one would assume he was a fairly attractive man. For clothing he wears a simple T-shirt, and jeans with knee-pads, added on top of this is a leather tunic with various straps and links of chainmail, adorning his feet are a set of bikers leather boots. He has various Maori tattoos covering his arms and neck.

Personality: Whilst looking formidable, Lost and Found is a very open guy. He jokes, laughs and has a certain air that tends to put others at ease. He takes his role as a Division One operative very seriously, but he also believes that humour is the best defence in times of despair. He's the kind of guy who you'd find hosting a community BBQ, drinking with his neighbours and playing catch with the kids.

Division: One

Skills: Lost and Found is a big man. Enough to make one reconsider a fight. He is strong and good with a blade, or more precisely an Axe. He's as good as anyone else with fire-arms, but believes there's a certain art to the old fashioned way of fighting. Along with his basic combat skills, Lost and Found has training in a wide variety of combat skills ranging from first aid to basic engineering.

Power/magic: Lost and Found is abnormally strong, an effect of several bio-engineered drugs administered before his initiation into Division one. He can tear a garage door clean off it's hinges, lift a car with little strain and challenge a lesser demon to a damn near even fist fight. A side effect of this drug is an almost berserker like rage that will wash over him in combat. This can cause a loss of rational thinking and at points a complete disregard for his own life. Along with his strength he also has remarkable healing abilities, leaving wounds that would cripple a man, as just a temporary set back for him.

Weapons & Equipment: An Automatic Shotgun ( Pancor Jackhammer ) and a set of Twin Axes adorning his waist. Along with this he holsters a .44 magnum on his hip.

Bio: Lost and Found was born and raised somewhere near the Ozarks, the wide open mountain ranges and forests allowed him to explore and camp for weeks at a time, learning of basic wildlife survival skills and enjoying time with his father. It was during one of these trips that he encountered D.I.C.E on a clean-up operation. His Father was killed during the operation, after the demon escaped the perimeter and was quickly destroyed before it could kill the child. The operative in charge took Lost and Found in and brought him back to his facility ( With him having no other immediate family ) and was there trained and initiated into the program.

During this time, where he had failed with education, he excelled with training, earning a direct place on a reserve platoon for Division one. It was here that he was subjected to the Bio-engineering given to some members of a team. He received the 'bear' strain as it was known inside. This had four very direct effects on him: one, it allowed him to heal much faster. Two, it made him stronger a fact he very much enjoyed. Three, it made him hungrier - a running joke within Division one is how the only thing more deadly than a demon to a bear, is a lack of food. Four, it made him susceptible to an uncontrollable rage which could be brought on or happen spontaneously.

After a few successful missions, he began the operation that would earn him his new name. After breaching a hot spot and working through a den, he was mortally wounded leaving him unconscious on the floor. The medical teams began their routine operation of putting him in a body bag and sending him back to the morgue. It was during the ride in the medical van that he came round and sat up, much to the medical crews dismay - nearly causing a crash and being tazered in the process he forced himself out of the body bag and laughed. After that operation he has been given the name 'Lost and Found'.

Something utterly devastating like a god-offspring or full on dragons are off limits. The Fae are fine.
