Its a paintbrush. You're supposed to paint it yourself (there was black paint there when you look closer at the slow mo).

I always loved those kinda piggy banks. Makes me want one now just so I can paint it.

Seeing as the pig wasn't even glazed (yay, double meaning!), I'm guessing the pig came with the brush and you were supposed to paint it yourself.
